Something which I think would be awesome would be a FAL pack. Someone needs to make a lot of variants, scoped, non-scoped, the modern versions with picatiny rails etc. The FAL is a classic after all!

You can use an AT4 with a backpack, if you want. Just get the AT-4, click on it, click on On Back (or something like that) and get your pack again. When you want to use the AT4 click on On Hands.

The best way to deal with it is just to equip one or two of your men with stingers.

I understand that in ACE I don't need to add silenced mags to make silenced weapons work (work as in being actually silenced)?

Is there somewhere where I can find the class names for all the new stuff in the mod (including the backpacks)? I want to add them to some missions.

Is there any way to change the localization? I'm one of those people that bought the game in german and uses a mod to change the language. ACE2 however, still detects my language as being german.

Get the explosives at the depot northeast of the comm tower, then come back and put a few at the tower and presto! There she goes...

Just played a coop mission with a friend, using SLX. Went pretty smoothly, no choppiness or lag or any other weird thing. Had a great time with it, the only problem I had was that the extraction chopper didn't stay long enough and kept taking off, so I had to order my men to mount several times so it would go back. That's a behavior that I would like to be optional.

I mean literally the item map. To see what I mean just put an average BI soldier in the editor an press "G" and look in the inferior part of the inventory. You'll see various items- compass, watch, radio, map, gps in some. If you remove the map, for example, when pressing "M" you'll see nothing but a black screen with the briefing. Removing the radio, on the other hand, makes it so that you can't hear any communication, although you can give orders and receive them, you just don't hear anything. Your units don't have these items, which weren't present in Arma 1. Nothing major, really, very easy to fix, sorry if I was unclear at first.

I've noticed that the woodland units don't have an Automatic Rifleman. Is this WAD?

The units have no maps, so in-game you can only see black. They also have no radios so they don't say anything. These are new Arma 2 features, so it's quite understandable. Other than that, they look great, I was really missing this kind of SF soldiers.

I played this through alone for a little last test before I submitted this mission. ;) Just set the difficulty settings to match your player count, skill and taste. I played it the enemy strength set to "weak" and enemy accuracy set to "very poor" so there were just few enemies per map target that couldn't hit me early enough. :D So no worries, even 1 player is enough if you set the difficulty settings right.Thanks Old Bear, mirrors updated again. :)

This sounds great, can't wait. I think the Arma 2 AI has a lot of potential for greatness, which it shows sometimes, it just needs a little push to make it perform.

It's quite easy to do, I have done it for many missions for when I play with my consoletard friends. All you need to do is unPbo the mission, open the description.ext file and change the respawn=x line to 2.
