    I simply haven't the time.

    Ever since this spring, I've been preparing for my new studies, which begin monday actually.

    Becoming a conductor is one of the toughest things you can actually imagine, and all my sparetime goes towards improving the vast array of skills that is needed.

    So that's my explanation.

    It's not so much that the game lost it's appeal, although I will say this:

    I didn't find Red Hammer as engulfing as CWC, and MP deteriorated with those ridiculous CS-style maps that Fraghaus and other (otherwise good) servers became infested with.

    I played for awhile with a swedish-based clan (CIA), and that was extremely satisfying, but I realised I wouldn't be able to keep up to their standard unless I played every day, and that was just too much.

    Lately I've been considering getting Resistance, as I miss the game. (best game ever for me)

    I'm not decided on that point yet.

    I seem to recall a certain member starting a thread, wherein he begged his Forum compratiotes to share pictures of themselves.

    While the thread had unlimited potential, not many members shared their pathetic countenance.

    Said member later achieved divine status by generally being a remarcable person.

    Wow to the thread. I'm considering starting up OFP for the first time in months, just to produce the ultimate über-stunt.

    How about a double somersault with a perfect twist, through a flaming hoop (someone make a hoop! ), while being shot at.

    Someone make a looping ramp also!!

    There are so many variations.

    How about landing a motorcycle on a fly-by LST?

    And loops has to be the next thing.

    If you could get the car spinning somehow...

    Maybe really small explosions could be used actually.

    Try setting of handgrenades by the exit of the ramp,see if it produces any results.

    The voters demonstrated they were clueless in the first place, electing that guy to run the most powerful country in the world.

    Obviously, game sounds are in some form or other contained in the software. Even if the file format isn't standard, there's often free conversion tools, which can transform the sounds into a *.wav or *.mp3 file format.

    Anyway, he just loved to try all sorts of drugs, because the shamans and witch-doctors of old ages used various drugs to induce trance. I think this friend of mine genuinely believed that the shamans didn't just dream up stuff in their drug-haze but they actually experienced "alternate planes of being" or something (this friend wasn't exactly easy to understand you know).

    So, gradually with they years, this bloke became more and more weird and disconnected with the rest of humanity. Eventually he got committed to a mental institution.

    The funny part here is that to this day I don't know whether he just got plain old crazy or did he actually discover something in the end of that drug tunnel, which just got him labelled crazy by our society.

    Maybe I'll ask if I ever meet him again.<span id='postcolor'>

    Maybe your friend saw "Altered States" with William Hurt, remember that film?

    Did your friend drink peyote?

    B.t.w. lots of people develop psychosis from drugs.

    I was always tempted to tro LSD because of the weirdness of the trip, but I know it might induce psychosis, and I'm not quite ready for that yet biggrin.gif

    (P.S. I've never tried any kind of hard drugs)

    Since nobody here apparently ever meets interesting people, I will tell of another person.

    This is a girl I dated many years ago.

    At some point (long after we broke up), she decided to "convert" to bhuddism.

    Now her life is completely devoted to it.

    She takes up yoga, meditation, follows a special diet, travels every year to Tibet or Nepal or some place, to study with her guru.

    Being the kind of bhuddist she is, she has to practise kind of extreme rituals of cleansing. If anybody has seen the movie "Crumb" about the comicbook writer, you will perhaps recall a certain intestinal 'excercise'.

    When she meditates, she is always in the nude, and preferably outside (which is probably nice for the people who live around her).

    And, worst of all: she drinks her own urine in the morning.

    She claims its part of being in touch with her body.

    What drives a person to this kind of behaviour?

    I don't know, but let me just say, I'm glad I got out in time!
