  4. Hmm, this does not appear to be working correctly - When I select "all units" (under Opfor). Give them a settings for aiming accurcy (say to .22) then hit apply - It only seems to set the accuracy for Group A (not the rest). Group A units will now show with a .22 aiming accuracy but when I go look at individuals from other groups (say group,B, C, or D) they will not have their aiming accuracy adjusted. ---------- Post added at 01:36 ---------- Previous post was at 01:24 ---------- Wondering if TPWC AI Supress mod is conflicting with it (I believe that is the only change on my system of late). ---------- Post added at 01:54 ---------- Previous post was at 01:36 ---------- Can confrim it is conflicting with TPWC AI Supress mod - I turned that off and now seems to be back working as should...(FYI).

    AC-130 Script for ARMA2 (0.3)

    Dumb question - But how do I start with an AI flown AC130 already in the air above me ?? Im using ADDON version loaded - I have the LDL Logics placed on map - I have the Call LDL logics option sync'ed to my player, but he AC130 starts out on the ground......how can I hvae it alredy in the air? I'm probably being brain dead here, but at the start (before a mission is launched) I place the UPSMON code into a unit via the editor - Is there a way to have access to this same screen of a given unit once a mission is launched? (for example, the team leader of my QRF, I can call up his page and simply place in the UPSMON code). If this is the case, I had no idea I could do that for any given unit once a mission was launched.

  9. I'm a novice to say the least at any scripting - I love using UPSMON, but I would like to be able to use it as part of a QRF (that I call via a radio trigger) if needed. Basically, I want an 8-12 man QRF sitting in a chopper (with the Team leader having an UPSMON command / Zone). But I don't want this to kick into effect until I call on the radio command (if neccessary). As is now, I can do this with the simplier UPS script, and the 8 man QRF will board the chopper (given via a waypoint "get in" command) and will sit there until / If I call on them via the raido trigger. But the UPS script isn't no where near as good as the UPSMON (in terms of using smoke and having more options for said group). However, when using UPSMON, the 8 man ORF unitl will not wait for any radio trigger it will go immediately to its "zone" and starts its patrol. Is there a way to stop the unit from automatically going and waiting until a radio trigger? Thanks

    Enjoying this map - Frame rates are very good. Will say, I do fine my AI teammates going way off and getting lost much more often than on other maps for some reasons though -
  12. Just installed this great mod - I installed as a mod (to be used automatically on all missions). 1. Just to clarify, this mod effects/affects both BluFor AI and OPFOR AI, correct? Is there anyway to make it less effective with your Blufor AI teammates? Meaning your AI teammates won't become surpressed as easily / quickly.

    What about the ability for AI teammates to enter buildings with you and help you in clearing rooms? Will A3 have this capability? Your AI teammates staying close and going room to room with you? Somewhat like RVS/R6...

    I would settle for if your Blufor AI (teammates) could simply enter builidings with me and help in clearing rooms (as is now, they can't even do that). Something along the lines of R6/RVS would be wonderful in terms of CQC and a step forward for ARMA (only in the CQC section). As is now, friendly AI aren't even useful in the slightest when helping you clear a room / structrue.
  15. I like to play SP quite often - I sometimes use HighCommand and bring along a team of ANA Commandos on Ops. However, is there any way to have more control over them once the shooting starts? They almost always run off on their own, 1 man at a time more or less. It would be nice if ARMA could find a way to at least make them use a buddy system (their survival rates would shoot up). Also, does AI medics ever help downed men (other AI wounded men)?
  16. I own a GTX 590 3GB card - I 'm wondering what others have the "video memory" set at within the video options. Is "Very high" Or "Default" a better option for me? Thanks
  17. The sound of the card (with fans) is not a problem at all. In fact, it runs pretty quiet considering the GPU fan goes up to 90%. However, from benchmarks I've seen (on youtube) and read about, on the GTX 590.....Mid 80'sC is high. Especially for gamming less than 20 mins and reaching these Temps. Perhaps mid 80c's is just fine........but is why I'm looking for opinions. 20 mins into gamming, with a tremendous amount of airflow (into and out of box) those temps just seem odd to me. Maybe not.

    I would like to see AI (in A3) be able to react, move, shoot as AI was capable of in say RVS ( Original Raven Shiled). When inside builidings, houses, etc...
  19. Thanks for replies. I think 80's'c is just too high (espeically with fan speed at 90%). I watch reviews on youtube and it does ever seem to be getting that high. I have a new 590GTX on shipment to me. Dell agreed to RTM my card for a new one because of the Temps. Let me ask, what Driver version are others using (all Nvidia card ownerrs). Which works best with A2/OA..... I believe the latest ones I read were having issues with Arma2/OA. I'm currently running the 285 version.
  20. Curious, what Temp's are other GTX 590 card owners experincing when running A2/OA. My card is reaching mid 80c's (with Fan profile reaching 90%). Seems way too high. My system just RTM my video card for a new one.....But I'm just curious what others are showing for GPU Temps..... Thanks

    I have seen AI in A2 use ladders........ I'm more speaking to close quarters combat, with multiple AI inside a building for example. Clearing rooms, etc. Will A3 have this ability?

  24. @ all - Thanks for advice on what settings to use - Question - If you use the "select all units" and adjust for example all to 0.33 for accuracy - Can you still go adjust a specific unit or two back up to say 0.45. Or would the 0.33 be already set in stone?
