From reading the Profile stats settings (via notepad)...I'm starting to believe the "options" setting only effects/affects generic games....and has no effect on "editor created" games....in which the skill ratings are set within the placement of each indivudual units. Those units will play with their respective ratings given to them (regardless of what the options setting says).

    Do I have this right, simple as this - I drop my DL @zcommon file into my ARMA2 folder/directory (as with other mods) - Then simply use the mod activation within A2/AO combined Ops and it should be working?
  5. It seems most people (who know the configs / editor, much better than I) seem to suggest that likely isn't the case.....but can be tweaked to be such ...RPGs firing on Helicopters. Possibly there might have been a MMG firing on you?? I've never had a confirmed RPG on me, outside of once a helicotper has been on the ground. I've been nailed as soon as a touch down in a hot LZ, though... It seems BIS would put out an addon for those who wish to have this option (RPGs taking pot shots at Helicopters).....

I scroll through the commands I can issue.....Yet I haven't seen where I can tell the medic to heal this or that particular soldier?......I have an OP trying to clear out the Naygul Valley and it is brutal on units I send in..... OT question - Why within the armory are most weapons not avaliable? It seems one should be able to practice, get use to differing gun sights, scopes, etc, etc......Is there a way to make all BLUFOR rifles avalible to practice with...

    Ok. So Zeus works with A2/OA combined Ops....Than? Great. I'm thinking of trying this addon/mod - Is it simple to install? Does it convert both the base game as well as any editor created SP missions / games? Thanks

    Team loadout for AI

    Probably easier (if a small Team) to make each member "playable" and just switch them them and outfit them that way....Then switch back to your Teamleader.....and give orders from there - Or you can script it into them within the editor - If you know the proper weapons names and script format
  11. I was wondering, are all AI-teammates skill rartings set to "1" (tops)? I know within the editor you can adjust them (sliding bar). But what about when you set the difficulty ratings (in the options screen). If you tweak this setting lower....say to .75 . Will that ONLY effect ENEMY AI skill levles or does that effect AI-teammates skill levels as well??? I would think not, but just checking / wondering.
  12. Is this true within the DIFFICULTY rating though? Meaning within the DIFFICULTY rating if one uses the "custom" and sets it at .75 ...are you in effect dumbing down your OWN AI teammates? As well as the enemy. It would seem to make more sense if this only affected enemy AI......But I wasn't sure...

  14. Ok. I'm going to give this a try - I have a more simple Korksky (sp?) patrol script that I use now in single player. I simply put that SQF file into whatever mission I created and then plug in a code into the squad leaders INT filed.....and it works...... This just seems to be an upgrade to that...... It is just, I've never had to open up any file there and input any lines (to a file itself). Also, this is just provides and enhancement of enemy AI behavior.....not a boost to the AI itself (as in Zeus AI increase mod) corrrect?
  15. In order to get UPSMON running..... and installed... It gives 4 steps. Setp 2 says Edit your Init_UPSMON.sqf and add next lines: //Init UPSMON scritp call compile preprocessFileLineNumbers "scripts\Init_UPSMON.sqf"; Can someone explain this more to me? How do I edit it? With what program? Thanks
  16. I don't know how to write and FSM... I have the helicopter at Combat mode - Does it being at night great effect them? It would seem with thermal this should only increase the Helicopters ability to target....
  17. What is the "seek and destroy" waypoint command with regards to helicopters? Will friendly / AI flow helicopters that are given this command attack any enemy AI they see?? I would think so? However, in an misison I'm running ....I have a small SOF team looking for an HVT in a village...with an Helicopter ready for CAS if neccessary. I have given it a Seek and Destroy command around this village (will only call on it, if in the sh*t).... Yet, in play testing....It doesn't seem to engage any enemies. Just fly's around. Also, I've noticed, friendly AI seems to be poor at using NV/Thermal.... This OP takes place at 3AM....and my friendly AI seem to be very slow at picking up targerts (all are rated excellent and all have thermal). Yet, oftenly they are pointing their lasers up in the sky more or less....??

    Oa ai

    Does "SYNC" patrol units with say units back at a main base.....Does this help the AI communicate any? For example if a patrol unit runs into contact (and that partrol unit is sync'ed with a unit farther away back at a base) will the base unit be made aware of this contact??

    TF86 Navy SEALs Pack

    Not for certain - But I've had AI teammates lose their weapons lasers while playing OA/CO and using this SEALs mod. It has only happened 3 times......but all three times I've had AI teammates who are part of this SEAL add-on........just an FYI. Love this mod!

  23. I just created and ran an Assault Op......And part way in 2 of my 3 fellow teammates laser pointers stopped working? Would not show up. Even when I switched to them and it the "L" key. Would not work. Is this happening often with others? I'm running ARMA2/OA/ CO...
