These were put in to give a mission maker complete flexibility in terms of names not containing the load out of the unit. Mission maker can also put any patch they want on the shoulder, including but not limited to the ones we provided with the pack.<span id='postcolor'>

Me found glitch,I put a soldier team with a patch from the 82nd and a ranger assault team on the map. When I went to preview the rangers had a 82nd patch too. I tried the patch code on the rangers to give em the 75th again with no luck. This doesn't happen when you have two different squad's of soldiers though.

Wich rifle does the 10th Mount., 82nd Airb. and 101st AA currently use?

    I think it's the M4 for all three but I'm not sure.<span id='postcolor'>

They do all use the M4A1<span id='postcolor'>

Thank you, thank you kindly  biggrin.gif

  3. There is a "basic" soldier in BAS rangers/delta's addon. It's basicly a ranger with no arm patch. BAS even provided the arm patches (from the 82thAirb, 101thAA, 10thMt), you could even make you're own arm patches and put them in the BAS_weap.pbo, To get the patches is just a matter of reading the two readme's. Although they still have a M4 sopmod, you could always edit their init so that you would eventually have Autoriflemen and stuff.  smile.gif

    edit:

There's a pic of it somewhere in the delta/rangers thread

Are you saying that it's ok to bomb a country if they try to defend their airspace?<span id='postcolor'>

This is ok in the no fly zone, right:

Shooting down Iraqi fighter's and bomber's in the no fly zone.

Bombing Iraqi AA when they are a threat to coalition fighters.

    This is not ok:

    Civilian casaulties.

Everything above but outside the no fly zone.

Yes the latter one happens and I blame that on the pilot's or some kind of mailfunction.

So basicly, yes it is ok to bomb at certain target's (Air defenses) as long as it happens in the no fly zone.

    edit:

And as long as the no fly zone is legal

Yes, good (me too), now let's cease this "which plane got the biggest dick" stuff yes? Before it turns out into a flame war and trigger happy mod comes in to lock it.

    Back to topic:

Naah that ain't so bad, I don't see any big differences

I'd say look for a man who is willing to die for his country. Someone who knows that the mission he's about to do will cause his death and yet he accepts it. Just one assasin could do it, right? Somebody from the CIA perhaps? Who's crazy enough to snipe saddam? Or did they already tried this?

    edit:

Oh wait, remove him, not neutralise him, yes I see... Hmmm...

but lets keep this on topic now, this bird looks good... though the pilot looks kind of big in that cockpit<span id='postcolor'>

Ya, you're right, let's stay on topic.

    Pilot's too big? I dunno, let's see...

You sound like a F-15 pilot. Most pilot's claim that the fighter they fly IS the best. But looking at you're birth date, I think you're not. (neither am I)

The record of 100 kills vs. possible one loss is because of the pilots that are in it.

</span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">The US Air Force claims the F-15C is in several respects inferior to, or at best equal to, the MiG-29, Su-27, Su-35/37, Rafale, and EF-2000, which are variously superior in acceleration, maneuverability, engine thrust, rate of climb, avionics, firepower, radar signature, or range. Although the F-15C and Su-27P series are similar in many categories, the Su-27 can outperform the F-15C at both long and short ranges. In long-range encounters, with its superiorr radar the Su-27 can launch a missile before the F-15C does, so from a purely kinematic standpoint, the Russian fighters outperform the F-15C in the beyond-visual-range fight. <span id='postcolor'>http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ac/f-15.htm

  9. Since where talking about the F-15

    Check here:

There is also a report that at least one US female pilot has been killed<span id='postcolor'>http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/ops/docs99/990506-11614.htm

I'll get more soon when I find some more, don't have the time now.

    I'm sure there will be an aircraft wich will have such a record. The strike eagle is just as good as the pilot is. I mean;

    novice pilot+F-15 vs. veteran pilot+mig29 = - F15

And remember, records are there to be broken.   wink.gif

    edit:

    didn't the F-16 had a better record?
