    Problems with Sound Hardware Acceleration

</span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">Then don't use Hardware Acceleration.<span id='postcolor'> This is exactly the reply i wasn't waiting for; you’re no help at all. Haven't you read the part why i want to use Hardware Acceleration?!?!?! Perhaps somebody else can help me out. All I want to know if there are more people out there who have encountered this problem. ***MI TROOPER***
  2. Hi, I have this problem when i turn on Hardware Acceleration in the Sound Options. The sound pitch of the radio messages (other sounds are not infected) is way too high, kind of a Chipmunk effect! When the Hardware Acceleration is turned off, the pitch is okay. Does anyone have this problem? I want to use Hardware Acceleration, because generally my sound is much better, i don't have any crackles or hisses then. When it's turned off, the sound is pretty bad with lots of crackling, especially during engine sound effects of vehicles (helicopters, tanks etc.) Is there a way somehow to fix the pitch of the radio messages, when I turn on Sound Hardware Acceleration??? Here’s my system setup: - OS: Windows XP Professional - CPU: AMD Thunderbird 1200 - MOBO: Asus A7V133 (with latest 4in1 Drivers) - Memory: 512MB - Graphics Card: Asus AGP V7700 - Soundcard: Terratec XFire 1024 (also tried the SoundBlaster Audigy, same pitch problems with that one.) Thanks for your time, ***MI TROOPER***
