    the so called spotters don't spot anything. they just stand there and do nothing, until the enemy fires upon them or gets close enough. sniper should engage enemy from far ---------- Post added at 21:50 ---------- Previous post was at 21:49 ---------- what do you mean wutt? you have neurological disorders?

    forget about sniper scopes, these aren't snipers. does having sniper rifle make you a sniper? they don't even behave like they're snipers. they should be programed to think differently from normal infantry. same bullchit

    I'm wondering, do people have problem with this at all, i have not seen anyone complain about it, this is the latest dev version. what do you think, shouldnt this be a priority for BIS to fix since they're focused infantry aspect of the game right now? i mean the AI shouldnt be scanning with his gun to aim. it should be a quick reaction to the danger. THE AI IS SLOW TURNING, SLOW, SLOW,SLOOOOW

    But it doesnt seem that they are interested in fixing the AI problem. Remember the Alpha is suppose to focus on infantry aspect of game? everytime they release an update, it is about something else and never the AI. I mean who cares the looks of the clouds or folliage when the fundamental aspect of the game is faulty. Here we have an AI that doesnt even recognise grenades as a threat, cant use buildings effectively, cant tell what direction fire is coming from unless he scans while turning slowly, that is what it takes for the ai to tell your position. and the worst part of all? This has been a problem since Arma 1. The company probably thinks we don't mind. This must not carry to Arma 3. For me, Arma 3 will decide whether i continue to look forward to Bohemia games or not

    Why is it that Bohemia is not fixing the slow turning of AI to face an enemy's direction? they're focused on infantry aspect and this is not being fixed?

    This is true, the AI does like to take cover but they just dont know in urban combat where the threat is coming from. Sometimes they have no clue that their teammate is killed infront of them so they run into the same danger. the ai issue has been long standing and i expect this time (2013 arma3) real change because i play with my self all the time in the editor as the multiplayer is difficult with all the stutter.

    the AI also doesn't respond to grenades being thrown at them. it is as though they think grenades dont kill!, they should be dispersing and taking cover. lets hope the final game wont feature the same problems. the current TPWC mode for Arma3 to me is a joke:D, it probably contains codes like or something because they immediately know about your position and begin engaging without firs seeking cover. anybody can do that, no need for a mod. all you need is an "if" condition.

    at the start, the game uses all cores but stops using them when you reach main menu. it sucks

    i couldnt have said it better, i'm wondering if Bohemia will fix the AI's inablity to move in buildings, they cant tell where target is, or how far it is when they're inside buildings. sometimes if you're in the first floor and they're in the 2nd floor, they keep looking at the floor without moving to watch the stairs and they never also will use windows. they're totaly useless in buildings. so is bohemia ever going to fix this? and ofcourse responding quickly where fire is coming from instead of scanning like the video above :D

    i've been watching Red Orchestra CPU usage compared to ArmA 3, I wonder why cant Bohemia do the same because Red Orchestra uses 63% of the CPU and all 8 cores to maximize performance.

    yeah i notice that Coulumn, did a several test, ai wont engage even though target is visible and within range. i have noticed the speed of aiming and slow response to fire. i have made video about it.

  22. The terrain should have rocky and tundra areas where grass is less. Every inch of land is massed with grass.

    i too have gtx 580 but no sli and it looks our fps are the same :) I think playing with the nvidia profile can help boost your fps.

    I think the use of nvidia profile can help boost your FPS. i was able to go from 30s to 40s using it. here are two images of what i did.
