Sounds good! Btw i'm sure BIS don't want scared modders and i'm still in a positive mood when thinking about future 3d users party releases. Within few months we will probably get good tuts (both officials and unofficials) to start experimenting with in the right direction. So for the moment we have to wait and see.....although nothing prevent us to start collecting usefull infos, links and to discuss projects and so on. Klavan

In some forums your account expires after a certain period of inactivity, so it wouldn't be strange or criminal. You've only to create a new account and.......voilŕ you're now logged in. A simple script can redirect to a new forum so you don't even need to search for it. Klavan

What about deleting ancient/closed threads to decrease the forum database weight? This might help I think. Klavan

I've got the same impression: looks like both addon and island making difficulty level is increased with ArmA. I'm not saying it's impossible naturally, but I think it will take many more hours of work to put something of high quality ingame compared to OFP. Maybe it's just me..... Klavan

This is recognized as an universal truth here in Italy. Ferrari never get in touch with any similar pilot before Schumi arrival: none of the drivers who came before him were so deeply involved in the car development/improvement process as he did. Our hope, as Ferrari supporters, is to see the same involvement from his successor: Kimi looks as fancy as Michael is, but he has got the same aura of professionism around him. Personally i always loved finnish drivers: they' re cold and of few words, and usually they dislikes gossip and protagonism with the media. Hakkinen was one of my favourite ever. Klavan

I can agree with you on this: probably any other skilled driver would had win on such a car. Maybe it would be far less simple without Schumi, but anyway..... However the last two championships proved the circus can go on and grow even without Ferrari as the winner, so speculations about such a dependancy (economical or other) are just...speculations. PS Here in Italy Schumacher isn't considered a very fancy guy by the 90% of the Ferrari fanbase, but hey..... Klavan

So every time a footbal player commits a foul he's attempting to the opponent's life? Every sport have got it's own risks, the fact Schumacher is always on the stake is because he is a well known champion. Is Schumacher the only F1 driver who attempted azardous manouvers during his career? Or simply no one care about the same manouver if attempted by a semi-unknown pilot named let's say Giorgio Pantano? Remember Zidane: was he a bad player only for the foul commited against Materazzi during the WC final? Doesn't he deserves to be remember as one of the best football player for this? Me think no: Zidane was one of the best player like Schumacher was one of the best driver. Klavan

The contract between bis and the 505 thing was signed/announced this month when the publisher itself was probably already busy with a lot of other stuffs (games) which are going to be on the shelves for xmas. Klavan

I wonder if we will be able to prevent weapons loosing while swimming. I won't imagine addon/mission makers being forced to script such an anti-feature to represent SEAL type units ingame. About the tank/house video, I'm sure the smoke, debrise, flash effects given by firing tanks will be modded in no time the moment the game will be out. Same for the destoyed buildings model and effects. Anyone notice that the tracks of the tank sinks in the sidewalk? Klavan

Yeah, I'm quite surprised by all this bitching and moaning for this little delay. Untill yesterday all were praising for a serious publisher spitting mud on the eventuality BIS would have signed with company such EA and so on. Now that finally BIS found the right publisher, a publisher which I'm sure let BIS with all the necessary "freedom of action" for ArmA all we should be happy for this (as in fact I am). Now I only hope the "anticipated" release of ArmA in Germany, Czech Repubblic and Russia will not create a "black market" on the net. Klavan
