Forget it. Noone wants another war in Europe, not the NATO and not the russian president. There aren't enough economic interests in that area to start WW3.

This is just another messy situation, rised up from a historically tormented region. I hope this is will be the last Balkanian drama at least, both for kosovians and serbs. @otk-member Sorry but I can't agree with you: a genocide will never justify another genocide in my eyes. Here in Italy there are still some open wounds about what's happened to our people in Dalmatia during and after WW2 but that's it: sometimes you found yourself just on the worng side of the trench and sometimes you're just wrong. That's our case at that time and that's your too in 1999. Klavan

EU gets prones another time in front of USA interests. To me it looks like the USA wants a break between EU and Russia relationships, in an attempt to avoid Europe to become less dependant from american controlled energy sources. Naturally IMHO.

Umpf! Your excellent stuffs are making me more inclined to spent some € for new hardware day by day and to find a solution to some others limitations (Linux rulez, but I start to miss gaming and editing very hard....) Stop doing this please! Ciauzz Klavan -
Sometimes politic is only a facade for powers who acts behind the courtains. These powers are sometimes called Lobbies and they're too damn powerfull to be ignored by those who rules a country. Even for a big and stronger country. And sometimes politics are just emanations of these Lobbies..... I've watched the movie some weeks ago and it told nothing really new to me indeed. In fact the first and the third chapters contents applies very well to the country where I live and I was lucky (?) enough to realize we're fucked up before someone from another continent tried to tell it to me. Well I totally missed the credits part: they (the cinema crewmen) turned down the volume and turned on the lights few seconds after credits began to run on the screen. Fucking assholes! I've heard those words few minutes ago and yes, this destroy all my theories about Manhattan being nuked an so on. And about the arachnoids, yes, I was wrong considering 'em like emanations of clover, not as parasites. I'm very curious about an eventual sequel althought I fear it risks to be a piece of sh*t. Anyway, let's see.... Klavan

Nice movie, really. Some thoughts: *WARNING: SPOILERS* -I don't think there will be a sequel: Manhattan was nuked and the fact the camera were rescued by a federal man lead me to suppose the creature fell dead in the blast. -The soldiers talked about "Tabula Rasa", and to me it appears like somoeone (the government) were already prepared for such an outbreak. -I wonder how an SD storage card could resist EMP effects.... -Why who had been eventually bited explodes? The same girl said she saw the big creature devouring humans, so why the small monsters would annihilate 'em instead? Plus Hud (the cameramen) wasn't devoured himself at the end. *END OF SPOILERS* Btw, I repeat, I liked the movie. Klavan

TBH I'm sure a LOT of people threw up during or after this movie Now all my dubts about how much a scary experience seeing this movie is are all gone.

Well, I liked Blair Witch Project a lot indeed to say the truth, even if I'm a "snob". Mmmmh, you've made me interested on it again...... Interesting perspective indeed!
-
Seriously, I had read the movie budget was quite low compared to other productions and I'm wandering if we are going (not) to see the monster at all, just like with The Blair Witch Project...... Plus I'm wondering how much a monster can resist even a couple of dozens of 120mm rounds: if I remember correctly I saw a trailer in which an Abrams fires at it.... Well, let's see....

I'm pretty sure this would cause the rise of lots of ironic comments from the rest of Europe (and from the world maybe), something like: "The English way to try win something with their national team". In fact this is what I would think about it. I would dislike such an idea very much if I was English (or Scottish or whatevere else.)

I really hope you're right..... Klavan

I've switched from Feisty to Gutsy the day after RC1 was released and I'm totally satisfied with it! It runs very smooth with all the Compiz effects enabled even in my 3 years old machine. Very very stable and performant. I Ubuntu! Klavan

@Balschoiw Are those panels solid enough to resist a medium size hail storm? Or is some kind of protection needed? Klavan

That's it. Can we Linux users have a dream? I've searched through the old topics and i found a thread about such an eventuality, but It's very dated (2003-2004) and none from BIS answered. In addiction the situation has changed from that time as the Linux community is growing quite fast thanks to distros like Debian, PCLinuxOS and Ubuntu (just to mention few) and the hardware industry is now looking with more interest to this OS (AMD recently decided to open their drivers sources for ATI cards for example). That's why i decided to open a new topic. Thanks. Klavan

Looks more like a sci-fi game (insipred by the War of the Worlds movie) than a realistic FPS/tactical shooter to me. Klavan

I can't find anyone who wish to watch this amazing-looking movie with me my girlfried said: "WHAT??? You wanna watch THAT movie??? Man you're 31 and the time to grow for you has come!" LOL Klavan

What's wrong with BIS willing to make cash if this help 'em to survive and to continue improve ArmA and to develop the next generation game? Because all you should know the equation: less money = less chances for BIS to release stuffs in the future..... What are guys scared of? Klavan

Nothing similar here in Italy: the moment you die the doctors always needs parental authorization. Luckly italians are very sensitive about organ-donation and are very generous (me included when my time will come). Klavan
