You know what pissed me off about the film, they butchered one of the funniest scences in the book, where him and his attorney go to that hardware store to get supplies for the trip, and it ends with the attorney threatening to go back and toss a bomb through the window, in the fim they took the line but put it in a completley random place when there driving down the strip.

I was gutted, when I saw this on the CNN website I thought it must be a practical joke, then I started to read the article... He was a real one of a kind.

I just downloaded them, gonna test em out now, they look cool. Edit: they need E&S marines for some weapons, they come with a couple of AK's too, ill post the screens from the pack in a minute

the dot camo soldier crashed my game when I selected him as the player and switched to outside view, it was ok before that. Great pack by the way, I like the republican guard units that can put the googles down and have the face mask as well, that looks good.

Thanks Blanco, I must've deleted the original waypoints to move stuff around or something, I fixed that. Enemyspawn script is a good idea too, I was wondering about the mist logics, I think i had even more originally, they dont add tons to the map anyway, relative to the lag thats needed to cover the area properly anyway. So yeah, I'll do all that stuff

I've just looked and I cant find the ICP anims PBO either, I found a few links on OFPEC forums but their dead, I'll look around some more, if I cant find a link, I'll upload it to a free hosting service I was wondering if the AI has a better view through the jungle than the player, cause I set up a few small patrols with HD weapons and I'm thinking mabye there moving to flank me before they engage, cause even though I know roughly where they are a t the misson start they usually manage to pick off a couple of squad members. P.S: You may need to exit by quitting after the chopper extraction, I cant remember if theres an end trigger set up yet. Â I dont think I was sure whether it was worth bothering with if no ones gonna make it to the extraction point anyway. Thanks to anyone who did D/L it by the way. Oh, O.K, I only really know how it was for British P.O.W's, they got something like Å40 compensation, a group of survivors went to court a few years ago, but any further compensation was denied. The compensation didnt even cover the fact that some of these people would suffer medical problems for the rest of thier lives as a result of what happened.

Yeah, but the Japanese really didnt have the cash to hand out. Â P.O.W's got a one off sum that was pretty meagre considering what they'd been through, the number of P.o.W's should also be taken ionto account if your comparing WW2 Japans situation to Iraq's. Isnt there a consortium looking to recover compensation from Iraq on behalf of Kuwait for a cut of the money or something? Â Theres something along those lines happening and its got some pretty big names attached. Whats a reisistance fighter who bombs a bar frequented by occupying troops? Terrorist is essentially a classification by a state against by a group, what about resistance fighters who target troops/civilians in the occupying nation? By grouping all members of a resistance movement together your ignoring the favt that they may actually fight with each other while fighting the occupying power or or as soon as the occupier leaves  Yugoslavia and China are 2 good examples. Groups that fight for a sepretist nation can see themselves as resistance against occupiers and the state can regard them as terrorists.

It depends on the perspective of the person talking about the group.

They had no problem looking the other way about p.o.w's still held after the end of the vietnam war, I dont think this would be very different.

I was about to post this, Edmonton's my town! I live about 20 minutes walk froem there. I'm mildy suprised but not that much.

I liked it, good cutscenes and nice big firefights.
