  1. This isn't a suggestion thread, so please don't lock it before others have had a chance to contribute. As a mission designer who specialises in MP missions I'd just like to highlight one frustration I have with OFP, which hopefully will be fixed in Arma: that respawn = "side" will work. Despite being a known bug in OFP since the very early days, even with 1.96 its ignored and the server defaults to respawn = "group". It might sound like a little thing, but the number of MP missions I've had to give up on, or cut down the scope of dramatically is very frustrating. Anyway, here's to great game, whenever BIS feel ready to release it.
  2. Unfortunately, using the numbers instead of the text syntax doesn't make any difference. But yes, different respawn options per side would be great, plus different map view options would be good too, perhaps by dividing up the description.ext into sections.

    Some very nice looking units guys, keep up the good work. But here are few problems I've experienced: 1. Invalid number in expression error when starting up the engines of any of CH-34s. 2. SOG CH-34 doorgun already has muzzle flash before I've even got into the gunners position. I've seen similar errors years ago with pre-Resistance mods but not for a long time.

    Same here, anybody got any idea's why? Also, what's the ETA on the other river boats you're working on. These two are great (apart from the missing .wav file bug).

    If there are going to be reflections from the scopes in the game (as I hope there will be) then the sniper also needs to have the option of taking on/off the cover for the scope. Most snipers (in the real world) keep the covers over the ends of the scope 99% of the time for precisely that reason (to stop reflections).
  7. I'd love to see a MP campaign mode, whether its scripted or dynamic. I'd prefer the later, but either would really open up a whole new realm of posibilities, plus I'd certainly get a lot more satisfaction from completing a campaign than several unrelated missions.

    Well, although it is MP, you can also play it SP. Just set up and join your own server. It is a lot of fun, although it does get very laggy when loads of AI units are roaming around blowing the hell out of each other.
