    maps under construction:

This looks nice. Kinda reminds me of the original Flashpoint maps. Jens
  2. Tapatalk released a new update. Maybe the formum admins can recheck the security issues? Thanks! Jens
  3. Hi guys, I'm really happy to see, that my map came to some good use and even brought back some good memories to some of you. You all encouraged me to restart the work on my NTC map. Jens
  4. Looking better and better with every new screenshot. Ah, speaking of new screenshots, how about some? Jens
  5. I'd like to see this too. Jens
  6. Hi guys, I have a new problem while editing my new map with V3. The map is rather large (50x50km). 1. I add road-net to the map. 2. I try to mark/highlight the roadnet with a single click. No matter what I try to do, I can't. 3. I mark/highlight the roadnet with the snap-lasso function (keep the left mouse button pressed and drag the lasso around it) --> roadnet is highlighted 4. I try to move the roadnet (the little cursor with the cross should appear) --> doesn't work. No matter what I try to do, I can't move the road. Same problem is with simple objects. On other maps I have no such problems. Any ideas anyone? Jens
  7. It is a 4096x4096 cell terrain indeed, but it's not in the SE corner. Is 4096 a problem? Jens

Ooohh, really? I hope you don't cancel it completely. I really liked Brik Island. Jens

VBS2/3 Discussion thread - the one and only

Hi IceBreakr, it's not one of the "official" maps that come with VBS2 itself. It's made by "Virtual Simulation Systems". I doubt that anyone of the serious gamer community has access to it. Jens
  10. Had to delete the contents of "C:\ProgramData\Bohemia Interactive" and then I could run the installer. Jens
  11. Having exactly the same problem here. Any solution to this? Jens

    MBG_Killhouses

WHAT!!! Those houses are exactly what I need to make my Ft. Benning and Ft. Irwin maps perfect. :) Really looking forward to these beauties. Jens BTW: If you need images of MOUT areas/houses I can provide you a bunch of images of the buildings from the McKenna Urban Training Site.
  14. Ohhhh, the Luchs is sooooo sweet!!!!! Jens
  15. Sure, go ahead. I was planing to do it by myself but hadn't found the time. Jens

    Size: 'sections/' not an array

Can you tell me what mods you were running with the Benning map and under what circumstances (beta etc.). Never saw this before. Thanks. Jens
  17. Some WIP shots from my two terrains I'm currently working on Ft. Knox Ft. Irwin Jens
  18. Sure, take a look here. Jens
  19. Sorry, I wrote in the wrong thread. Jens
  20. Sorry, but I have to disapoint you here. Currently I don't plan to expand the map or to add any target system. I was thinking about Ft. Hood indeed, but yesterday I discovered that Google maps now has hires satimages of the Grafenwöhr training area (which might bring back lots of old memories to me). My other two projects are NTC at Ft. Irwin and FT. Knox. Jens
  21. Map look great so far. A few years ago some guy started to make A Copehill Down map for VBS2 (maybe it's you?). Jens
  22. I'm not exactly sure what your question is. But you might take a look at the tutorials on this board to take your first steps. A simpler map might be a good idea too (not so densly populated etc.) Jens
  23. Thanks for the kind feedback guys. Nice to see that the map brings back good old memories to some of you. Concerning the config/rpt errors, I try to fix these in the near future. Plans for the MOUT area are to use some MOUT buildings that phaeden made for his upcoming 29 Palms map. The other two projects I was working on the last months are a very large map that covers the NTC at Ft. Irwin (alpha-status) and a smaller map that depicts some tank firing ranges at Ft. Knox (beta-status). Jens
