    Voice over improvement?

    I think their voices should change based on the mode they are in, for example, set your squad mode to stealth and they will all whisper. That would cool.
  4. The best thing about Farma II is it acually sounded like a fun game to play I definatly wanna see a mod of this in ArmA II.

    So ArmA2 is able to address that memory? I think it could if it was a 64bit app, but since its not i dont think it will, however im not a programmer so i dont know.

    Yeah, i agree. I have 64bit vista 4g RAM and i currently have no issues with ArmA atm.

    There is still no word on a North American publisher atm, hopefully we will hear something sooner than later.
  10. Very neat video. Seems there are alot like terrorist in some way. There is going to be some true depth with this games story, so exciting.

  12. Well i love the faction videos and they show off some really impressive things about ArmA II. Since we only have 1 faction left here is something i would love see. A video that shows some of the new features in action, one of the main ones being the AI. I have seen very little video on the AI mainly from GC 2008 which was in august. Just a short video on the AI, maybe the suppression fire feature, just something to show some of the new features. Thanks for your hard work BIS, keep it up.

    yeah i agree with POTS, i dont think the AI is really bad, it is just very unrealiable and in some cases unrealistic. Most the of the time in an open field fight the AI just runs out gets shot. I would love to see the progress they have made in some in game footage. I would also like the hear something new about the release date maybe an update on some of the new publishers, but im sure BIS is working hard and just a matter of time.

    yeah i agree, if i had to choose the worse thing about ArmA it is the AI and i would love to see the new micro AI in action.
  15. i dont think it will be supported but who knows. Dual GPU's doesnt seemed to be liked by developers.

    Armed Assault and Vista 64

    Here are my system specs. 780i evga mobo 4gb ram q6600 2.4 quad 500g hd evga gtx 260 vista 64 bit I currently run arma patch 1.14 with no problems at all. I run resolution at 1900x1200 with all the settings on very high and view distance about 4000 and get around 40-50 fps. I would think that anything above 4gigs of ram is probably gonna give you problems. I hope this helps some.

  19. Just finished watching ofp2 video, and i think codemasters should just leave it to the pros. The ArmA II videos are way better.

  21. well I would really like to see the AI act like that mr. g-c, I think it would be awesome. Although the recent videos i have seen of the ArmA II AI have been looking a little more improved but nothing drastic, hopefully Im wrong.
  22. From what i can tell the civilians video and the marines video did not appear to have any of this "brownish color". Maybe BIS was trying to make it have the brownish color because it was being flimed by an old VHS camera. Either way, to me its not a big deal, i did not even notice till i started reading on here.
  23. Well, the AI walking into the church without freaking out and merging through walls was a dramatic improvement. Â Also, the civilians didn't seem to run stop walk run stop look around run stop walk run. Â They just seemed to walk around, and go to where they were told (or decided) to go. haha so true, they didnt freak out going into the church, it was wierd to seem them do that. I geuss i didnt really catch that as an AI improvment at first, but i guess it is.
  24. I personally like the brownish look to it, makes the enviroment feel more gritty, more like war.
