  1. @ iceman316: Do you mind telling us what all those bugs and errors are? I'm not saying OFP is perfect, again few things are, but current version (1.96) only have a few (minor) bugs still there. If you haven't you should try out OFP 1.00 then you have something to compare against /Christer (a.k.a KeyCat) Heh, ive played and modded OFP from the very beginning, ive seen it all. I can't say iv'e run into a bunch of fatal errors because the only ones there where, BIS fixed in patches. (the yellow screen of doom, MP game creation glitches... both where fixed). Most of the stuff that i have seen is just goofy bugs and glitches. Like the wrong animation playing when you get into vehicals and the guys head sticks through the roof, just stupid stuff like that. Aside from that i still stand firm in saying OFP is a nearly perfect modding platform.
  2. OFP has a LARGE share of bugs and errors. But the possiblitys for modding it is pretty much endless. You can make just about mod any game your heart desires using the OFP engine. Anything form a tactical FPS to an RTS. Its by far more versitile and more easily moddible than any other engine. Not to mention that it is extreemly easy to build and install addons. Everything about modding flashpoint is user friendly, it is just as good for someone who has never modded anything before, as it is for someone who is an expert modder.
  3. Right now me and a mod team of my friends are working on an RTS mod. We have just about enough people for most of the other aspects of the mod except we are in desprate need of a map scripter who is skilled enough to make a: -seamless running RTS on a custom map -a never before tried RTS credit system -addon buildings and units intigrated into the maps -Menus and screens for building/weapon selection (not required for the beta but the skill would be appriciated) -a few other special features We are trying to go as little out of shop with our mod as we can, but none of us can handle the scripting it takes to make an RTS map, especially one with never before tried features. Anyone who would like to partake the task of scripting the maps drop me a line at iceman316rtsmod@gmail.com . A sample of your work (a mission file or a few screen shots) is not required but would be greatly appreciated. Anyone else wanting to help with other aspects of the mod can drop me a line too.
