Hello been thinking of buying resistance, but thought about checking out the forum to seee what the general feel of the add-on was. Seems there is alot of trouble with it, especially the weapons carry-on bug. Something I feel is serious in whole gameplay situation. So will BIS be releasing a patch shortly to solve this problem. then I may buy resistance.

Does anyone know when Flashpoint is coming out for XBOX? Resistance will be bundled with it apparently, will Red Hammer be as well?

I take it tbere is a general consensus that Console gamers are a bunch dumb ass Private Piles. Have to agree with you there. Flashpoint is game where you have use your brain and combat techniques. Can't see console gamers being intelligent enough or patient enough with the game. Shame if the X-Box conversion is done moderately well. Microsfot should have kept it at a high price to keep average consolers away from games such as Flashpoint. Flashpoint for the Ubermensch!

I like them because they are shit and are easy prey for my P.K. Though shooting civilians is infinitely more satisfying

Its going to be hard for them to adapt Flashpoint for the X-BOX. How the hell are you going to be able to command a squad quickly with the hand held controller? What will aiming be like without a mouse? It could be a total nightmare or a very, very, very amazing conversion. Well, will have to wait and see.

Use machine gun on takn to take out helis. be the commander in the tank. Don't go through the massive base at the start. Mines around the base as well.

This mission is simple when you know how to take out the helis. Change to machine gun, get the gunner to tarhet teh Heli's should take them out. Don't try and fight every enemny, only the really leathal. Don't go through the base at the start or your dead and dumb.

It seems to me that BIS have done the right thing. What are u complaining about, get outside for once rather than spending all you bloody time stuck in front of your PC. They said they would release the tools to public latter on. Until then go out and get drunk or High. They said they would support well designed and structured mods. posssibly the vietnam one and the 1944 one. For me these will definately be enough for the time being.

yeah Iw ould be interested to know how I can use a laser guiding bomb. I have set up a custom mission where I am the designator, targeting at a tank, and have got a plane to attack the tank. Yet it doesnt work. Any pointers??

as long as you use the machine gun against the two helis its quite straight forward. Also going into that camp near the start is a big no no. But I like it, its a challenge. One of the more inventive mission that is in the whole flashpoint experience. I prefer Red hammer to the American campaign. You get into the action a lot quicker.

Using the G:36 is excellent. The rate of fire and accuracy is excellent, especially for killing helpless civilians. That and the Biscan are superb, shame they werent in the original game, because the M16 is useless in my opinion. :p

Each to his own scope, its like the two sniper rifles, i prefer either, the Dragunov is a bot of a challenge which improves the game play, plus it looks better. Have you used that new american vehicle, like a bmp but with a TOW rocket launcher on it, that thing rocks!!

The AK74 is much better than the m16, its the sight that does it for me. Shit scope = shit aim = your dead!

The idea of being able to use a scud to its full capability is a very attractive one. Was wondring if anyone else shared my views? They could be used to excellent effect in edited missions.

I think it really sucks how in all these computer games its the Yanks that are the winners, they should make a game where you are the viet cong and get to whop some yank ass. Or redo the somalia incident, and shoot down some helis.

Yeah, it is a bit dumb putting in a weapon that wasnt available in 1985. I like using it in the Assassination mission of Red ammer, just picking off people whilst circumnavigating the whole town. Its always good fun to take out the M113 gunners when they have turned out. Steyr Augr is also excellent, but the scope is not as good as the G 36. :D

Just crawl up to the helicopter, watching for patrols and the vulca spotting you. Get in, take off and proceed to frag everything in sight. ;)

What I found was to go round the side of the camp, on the right, but watch for mines. When you get attacked by the Hinds use machine gun on tank, get gunner to target them. You'll shoot them down eventually, once you get the hostage leg it back. Forget about the opposition armour. :D

obviously some sort of bug, as long as you get the truck near her, she will get into. If not run the stupid slag over to teach her a lesson :D

This mission is near the end if I am not mistaken. There are some russian officers you must not kill. You have to find them when the yanks attack. this will trigger a sequence showing you escaping from the island, forget the way point. :)
