    OFP2 = Poor Graphics?

    Poor Graphics? OPF1 still looks great, and if the past years have improved on anything I am sure it would be both models and graphics.. I'd rather have "poorer" graphics and good phsyics/movement/gameplay than arcade-style gameplay akin to Battlefield or Counterstrike.

    Why are there still cd checks.

You did not explain what problems you are having. 2. It's rather obvious why you need the CD to play the game. 3. FADE never seemed to take effect in version 1.00, to the best of my recollection. 4. Now that you've admitted to piracy, I'll leave you to those cuddly guys known as the moderators. Â <span id='postcolor'> 1. The only problem is finding the friggin' cd whenever there is a) time to play the game b) a new patch (beta or final) 2. No it is not obvious at all. After the game is installed the game does not require the cd - at all - for any reason besides creating trouble for the customer who purchased and installed the game. Many games released in the past, and games that will be released in the future do not require a cd-rom after installation, so why should this game require it? Unless the user performs a minimal installation, where a notice displayed during installation informs him that "this will require the cd-rom in the drive during gameplay" or similar, there should be no reason what-so-ever for the cd-rom to in the drive. 3. So you used the "free full eval" version aswell then. 4. I admitted to having played the free net version. Where no cd's were needed but still offering the same gameplay.

    Why are there still cd checks.

    Why am I forced to have the cd-rom in the drive each time I want to play the game. Why am I forced to have the cd-rom in the drive each time there is a new patch for the game. I thought after a full install, the cd would no longer be required, but alas to my dismay some game developers still believe that griefing their customers with useless and un-needed aswell as unwanted cd-swapping is a good way to force them to buy their products instead of pirating them. When I had the pirated version of Flashpoint, v1.00 upon release in Europe I did'nt have to spend time with the cd rom, during installation, I did'nt have to go through the trouble of putting the cd-rom into the drive each time I played the game either, and I did'nt have to be forced to find the cd-rom when a new patch appeared. Now that I have purchased the game - I have the game + all the troubles an original game causes, that I did not have with the free warez version, that appeared on the net before the store version. Fighting piracy by alienating your past, current, and future customers is not a good way. And by the way, 1 month of playing the warez version I never - ever - had any 'FADE' incidents.
