Go to www.opflashpoint.org and look under addons, then buildings or misc addons and look for Bunker Pack 5. This addon should have the minigun included in the zip file.

You forget about the high powered phased array radar systems that are used to find and track high altitude aircraft and ballistic missiles.
For any transport aircraft, stealth or not to achieve that range, it would have to fly into the detection range of various Aegis class ships that regularly patrol the Western U.S. coast and around Hawaii.
There is significant proof that Aegis ships have the capability to find, track, and possibily attack most stealth aircraft at significant ranges.
Logistically, the Chinese would have to litterally sell their souls to the devil in order to achieve a surprise massive airborne insertion into the U.S. mainland soil.
Plus, it sounds obsurd anyways. Â The Chinese are somewhat similiar to what the Soviets were in the Cold War, completely paranoid. Â The only major issue with the PRC is their hardline political system and the problem with Taiwan.

Yeah, the warhead strength would not be much of an issue if the OFP engine dealt with the two ways an aircraft can be shot down. Â
First, the aircraft is unmanuverable or both engines go out for good but the structure and cockpit holds long enough to eject. Â
Second result is where the aircraft explodes in a large and pretty fireball and the pilot gets baked and blended at 800 degrees Celsius. Â SAM's and AAM's love pilot smoothies, mmmm good smoothies.

Nice and wonderful, but whatever you bloody do, make sure you design the flight characteristics and velocity to be realistic. Â No more Mach 2.5 MANPADS in OFP Â The ECP and WGL project dealt with this issue well, I suggest you ask for help from mainly the WGL project, since they probably can help you simulate frag effects from the warhead.
Maybe have the missile do the missile launch acceleration effects similiar to what the Javelin Launcher did for the MARPAT pack.
One more small note, don't make the warheads too overly powerful.

The problem isn't their effectiveness, its the number of cluster munitions used. Might need to slightly reduce the number of cluster bombs, but overall its just about right.
Sorry to say, but no it would not wipe out a battalion's worth of armor and mech infantry. Â Unless the units mass in a huge tight group begging for a cluster bomb attack, it's highly unlikely you will destroy any more than two tank platoon's worth or maybe at most 12 to 13 APC's/IFV's.
That's why most armor and mech forces combat doctrine has fighting units spread out over long areas to prevent massive losses in case of an artillery barrage or an enemy Airstrike.
For an accurate, high altitude drop. Â The effectiveness of Hudson/Pennywise's CBU-87 is fairly close to RL specs as OFP can get.
The Mk20's and the CBU-87's were designed to be nasty and effective against enemy armored units. Â Why do you think the U.S. easily won the ground war of the first Gulf War? Â It was because of these effective anti-armor cluster munitions weapons that anniliated enemy armored units with ease.

Yes, very impressive overall. Â However, the CBU-87 cluster bomb is extremely weak. Â It is a nice eye candy feature, but needs significant improvements. Â It also cannot be used by the AI or lock on to a specific unit for targeting.
If you need help on the cluster bombs, I suggest you enlist help from Hudson or pennywise. Maybe ask the CoC team as well.
I'll have a full review of this addon posted soon at my site, probably by early next week.

Not very many probably want an older F-16A version addon, those A versions can only support Sidewinders, Mavericks, Dumb Bombs, and limited precision guided weapons.
See if you can modify the cockpit for two MFD's.

The F-15C and the F-16C I believe both can do that with just internal fuel, cannon ammo, and two sidewinders.

DKM Tunguska isn't a great measure of an effective air defense realistically in OFP. Â Effective and brutal to most Western or Resistance aircraft yes, but the missiles just move too damn fast for my realism tastes. Â Even those missiles on the Tunguska have to gain velocity and must fight gravity and wind resistance when they go after their target. Â That takes time and that time allows pilots to evade.
Try playing with the BKM SA-11 instead. Â It takes longer for it to attack you, but when it fires you better be one hell of a good pilot because that Telephone pole is gonna chase after you like having steak on your ass and a pit bull right behind.

Ha ha ha, poor saps slaving away on keyboards and paper. Â I'm just about finished, savering my graduation when it comes. Â All I have left is an upper level Graduating course and a basic course in Java, then I'm done.
Word to the wise, fall in love with your college courses, worship your computer, support and spend time with friends doing well in your major, and always find a way to squeeze in 1 to 2 hours of multiplayer carnage and destruction. Â OFP or Counterstrike, either one will help vanquish the partying demons that tempt you to get totally wasted or high regularly and put your future in the toilet.

I completely agree on limiting magazines to 10 rds for any handgun or semiautomatic weapon, those larger than the .22 Rimfire.
The US doesn't need C clips or a 30 round mag going back into production. Â Their crime rate is high enough, as soon as this ban ends, you'll start seeing an exodous of assault weapon robberies increase.
No it's not an automatic weapon, but for the first 5 minutes for an armed criminal, he would do just as much damage on semi with a 30 rd mag.
I believe those sniper killings near Washington D.C. proved that logic, weapons designed for war should never be used by the public, even if they are semi only. Â (AR's, AK's, and various European rifles as well)
If the political leaders in the US start turning the country into an authoritarian govt., then by all means arm yourselves very well and hoard weapons and ammo.

Ha ha ha ha ha, hey at least the USN and the USAF hasn't forgotten how to have a damn good time when things are quiet and peaceful. Â I think what hurts the US Army and the USMC is their culture and regulations. Â You can maintain good order and discipline without appearing or behaving like a ritualisitic cult. Â (No disrespect here to the US Army or the USMC, just taking a critical look at what I see.)
The Navy Seals are an excellent example of how you can be the best in the world and not appear a few cents short in the head or look like a mindless robot.
Sometimes too much control over people's will and thinking influences or contributes to incidents in wartime and at foreign locations. The prison scandal in Iraq I believe is proof of that. The US Army in Iraq: Overworked, undermanned, underappreciated, a pool of unprofessional beliefs/traits of the insurgents, and bored to hell.
You can't promote peace and stability in a region where you treat combatants like animals, you lose credability and you disgrace everything the U.S. and Europe fought for over 50 years in World War II to stop.

I was wondering how the banking of aircraft is determined for OFP addons. I know about the airelonsensitivity property that changes the rate of which an aircraft can bank left or right.
My question is how do you make an aircraft addon turn better without changing the elevator or airelon properties in the config.cpp?
I'm working on some aircraft addons, in hope of improving them and optimizing them for more more realism and making them where they can actually land.
** I know, I won't release anything without permission from the authors. ***
I'd appreciate any feedback you could give me on this.

Hell, you could just go for your bachelor's at a good public university, then sign up to be a combat pilot if your vision is good (no vision problems). Â
If that fails, you could always try being a PJ or work for the SOF division of the USAF.
Unless you are wanting to be in the SWAT or HRT teams of the US police & govt. agencies, I believe just about any military experience (commissioned officer) with a good record and good recommendations will get you far in law enforcement, especially the FBI, Secret Service, or the ATF.
The main thing I believe that determines where and if you are hired is your performance in college and your reliability in the armed services and/or other jobs/careers you had.
Could I get some accurate feedback on this.

I'm sure it will be a bunch of campaigns in different regions with reasonably involving storylines and a fair amount of "storyline" cinematics and character development to make it feel like you are playing in a movie instead of watching it.
At least one campaign needs to be against the classic "Evil Empire" government/military. My prime wish is it would be Korea as the setting for the long feared final military/political fight to the finish on determining whether democracy or Communism unites Korea.
If done very well, it could surpass the original CWC campaign's storyline and provide a new standard for gaming atmosphere experience.
I suggest they hire some good cinemtographers and a bunch of good symphonic composers/or use some great symphonic music already made that hasn't been overused.

Well, the only aircraft I remember with visual effects when breaking the sound barrier is the F/A-18C pack 1.31 by Hudson & Pennywise.

Sorry, I didn't mention the increased speed or being a "Stealth" aircraft because I'm so used to others knowing that already that I omit it out. Â
The F/A-35 is the first STOVL aircraft to takeoff in less than 500ft of runway, go supersonic, and land vertically all in one flight.
This aircraft truely wrote aircraft history when it was designed. Â It is a very capable aircraft while keeping the costs low as possible while maintaing strict quality standards, excellent combat capability, quick and easy maintainability, and a lot less maintance cost.
Some smaller areas are still under development however, mainly for purchasing flexibility and subsystems (engine,weapons systems, ECM,etc.)

Hey, if you make a research facility, make sure do a lot of chemistry lab rooms, and a large medical research/testing/Operating center that can be merged to make one building. However the buildings can be placed individually so you could just add what buildings/areas you need.
A nuclear weapons development or nuclear storage facility would be great too.
Mainly I just want a well detailed and large "Generic" chemical/medical research lab center.
That's all I can think of now...

Like I said before, ask for help or if you can borrow the WGL or Oyman GAU-8 Avenger weapon/ammo system.
Here's my official stance for creating a all-around favorite A-10 for the OFP community.
Use Diesel's skinning and model for both green and grey. Â Up the aircraft's speed just a very small amount.
Use Oyman's GAU-8 Avenger cannon weapon/ammo.
Use Diesel's smoke script for the GAU-8. (Make the smoke a little more transparent though.)
Use Diesel's weapons loadout ONLY for OFP conflicts in the beginning of its premire in the early 1980's to early 1990's.
Use Oyman's weapons loadout from 1993 to present day.
As for the CM's, I think it needs to be compromise of both. Â The CM's aren't effective enough on the Oyman A-10 because of it's low speed. Â The Diesel A-10's CM's are way too effective and requires an excellent rear or front missile hit to shoot it down.
Have at least two loadout versions
Old loadout
General-CAS Â (GAU-8, 4 x Mk82 low drag, 6x AGM-65B, 2 x FFAR, 2 x AIM-9L)
CBU-CAS Â (GAU-8, 4 x Mk82 low drag, 6 x Mk20 Rockeyes or similiar CBU, 2 x AIM-9L)
New loadout
General-CAS (GAU-8, 4 x Mk82 low drag, 2 x AGM-65D, 2 x FFAR, 2 x AIM-9L, ALQ-131 ECM pod)
CBU-CAS (GAU-8, 4 x Mk82 low drag, 6 x Mk20 Rockeye or 4 x CBU-87, 2 x FFAR, 2 x AIM-9L, ALQ-131 ECM pod)
By organizing it this way, I believe a huge majority of the OFP community, especially aircraft enthusisasts would be very pleased if this was the end result.

Just a slight bit offtopic..
In about 4 or 5 years from now, the Marine Corps Harrier pilots are gonna have a blast changing to the new F/A-35B STOVL.
Even though it doesn't have the range the A or C version does, however it has more range than the harrier. It can carry twice as much payload weight, has almost twice the range of the harrier.
The Marine Corps has always had to "settle" with many aircraft assigned for them to combat duty. Now they get a aircraft meant to kick ass and give no mercy while being very versitile. They get the payload and range capability of the F/A-18C they use with STOVL capability of the harrier.
Trust me, 2008-2009 will be a blast for the USMC pilots and the Royal Navy.

Maybe they'll do some major reworking of the game to add some original gameplay features to it. Don't hold your breath.
Hey, some of you Star Wars fans are going to be slightly annoyed at the very end of Episode 6, Return of the Jedi in the Star Wars triology pack.
They pulled out the older Anakin and put the crappy young Anakin in his place when Yoda and Obi Wan are beside Anakin.
Personally I was disapointed George Lucas did this, it soured the last movie in the original triology.
