  1. My bad! It turned out I had messed up the Dropbox download link in the previous update, and it had been pointing to the old bugged version for months. I'm really sorry for the inconvenience anyone may had with it. And thanks sammael for figuring it out for me.
  2. That's probably the same issue which was happening before with RHS. But by the time I got around to fix it, RHS had updated and the bug was already gone. If it's the same thing, I'll think I can fix it this weekend.

    I don't think deleting profile files will result in a ban. There aren't any such critical files there AFAIK. I know some people have gotten the "banned on behalf of the developer" for trying to obtain DLCs illegally. You also have multiple other game bans, right? Maybe you had some cheat programs running in the background while playing?

    Right-click Arma 3 in Steam library, select 'properties'. On the 'local files' tab, click 'verify integrity of game files'.
  6. Yeah, it was closed down on June 11th. Some of the mods have been transferred to Moddb apparently.

  9. drawPolygon only draws on maps so that won't help, unless you create a transparent map display on the screen and somehow convert the 3D positions to the map. You could find the named selections on the unit with selectionPosition and then create lines between them with drawline3D. But that would produce only a stick figure. For an accurate outline, I can't think of anything else other than casting an array of lineintersects from camera towards the selectionpositions and trying to find the edges of the character. But that would be ridiculously intensive and difficult.

    Yes. One way is to double click on them and disable simulation in their properties.

    DLC Bundle 2 not working

    You must be playing some community made mission because there's no buying feature in vanilla Arma. So you should contact the maker of that mission if you're sure it should give you access to the vehicle after you've bought the dlc. I doubt it though, since missions usually have some separate in-game currency you use to purchase things, and buying the dlc they're from doesn't matter. The other vehicle you can't get into is probably from some other dlc than Tanks, Jets, or Helicopters. From Apex expansion for example.

    @Grumpy Old Man Apparently the precision was fixed at some point because now the difficulty setting definitely has an effect and the skillFinal changes along with it. If that's still too precise, you can additionally lower unit's personal skills. Specs: precision slider at 0.05/0.50/1.00, no mods, current dev build, default rifleman, unit skill at the default 0.5, distance about 80m, general skill at 0.5; The same applies to Ifrit HMG for example, but since its gun is inherently more precise you need some distance to see the difference. At 20% unit skill slider, 0.05 difficulty the AI becomes Hollywood accurate.
  14. lol, where did you dig that up from? It's over 2 years old and I don't even remember what was context of it. I think the black square is a Shutterstock watermark. :D Regarding blood textures on walls; you could try "casting" a lineIntersectsSurfaces to a wall to find its surface normal and position, and then place the blood to match that. Maybe even using the same command to test a small area around the center to see if it's a unobstructed and flat area and can fit the texture.

    The dialog probably already has its own default font defined, so you could try just leaving out the font completely. RobotoCondensed might be one good option.
  16. Yeah, Jay Crowe is leaving the creative director's post and BI. The latest SITREP has some information about the future, including a video of the company's goals for this year. And Arma 3 roadmap 2018-19 should be out any day now.
  17. In 2045, BI has finally got their AI sorted. So well in fact that the autonomous drones have reached AI singularity and taken over the world. The human resistance desperately fights back. Mods: Eden Extended Objects, ReColor, Enhanced video settings, nikoaton's Animations, and Arma 3 Aegis (although I'm not sure anything from it is visible here)

    You mean you can't download from Workshop because you didn't get Arma from Steam? You could comment on the Workshop item and ask the author directly.
  19. The "precision" slider in the difficulty settings is a multiplier for aiming accuracy and aiming shake. And the "skill" slider controls the rest of the skills like spotting abilities and courage. Both sliders affect all units - friends and enemies, spawned and pre-existing, as long as the sliders are set before the mission start. The difficulty sliders always change their respective skills, i.e. you can always make any mission easier/harder with them. Do note that apparently the "skill" will also affect AI's precision to a degree. So you can't make the AI a terrible shot just by lowering the precision.

    ArmA 3 - EDEN (Simulation colours?)

    Yellow - empty. Grey - simple object. Red corner - simulation disabled. Cyan - dynamic simulation enabled. You know you could just double click the objects and change the parameters to see which is what. :)
