the bike psychics are the worst, yes the worst I have seen in my entire gaming life. Try to drive offroad for a while with, let's say a 450 and you'll notice how weird the ArmA psychics are. 1: They are way to weak. Try to make a hill climb and you'll see what I mean. Pressing E should make a wheelie and and it should be gone in a few seconds but the way they accelerate reminds me of trimmed mopeds. 2: They handle TERRIBLE. It's like they didn't weight more than a couple of kilos. It bounces up and down, side to side and trying to drive down a hill will be your death. While the Humvee can go down the hill at the highest peak at the northern island without any problems. 3: Motorcycles doesn't turn like that. They just don't. Just take a drive with a MC and you'll see. the wheelie is a bug, just drive onto a small rock or jump an land on the rear wheel and you can wheelie forever. Not very realistic if you ask me But sure, in real life you can't go 70 mp/h down a hill cuz you might hit a small rock and fall off. But that's not the problem in ArmA.

that shouldn't be a problem, just create a folder in the mod folder called Dta (If the mod doesn't have one) then you just put your sounds in there. should work. -

After some playing, which was pretty fun (when it worked), I've found a couple of things that I think you should change or add. 1: The MCU should start as locked and the commander should be the only one that can unlock it. This because we had to restart like 12 times because some idiot drove of with it. 2: there should be a limit in how many choppers and planes that you can have. Like 3 choppers and one 2 planes. This because when you've got enough to build bombers and choppers it all becomes a big bombing run war where one side constantly tries to fight the choppers and planes of and the other side keeps attacking until they win. 3: you should be able to build defenses. Like fortresses, barbwires, minefields, sandbags etc. These should be able to be build by any close to a repairtruck 4: you should be able to build machineguns and grenade launchers. 5: there should be some kind of cheap AA guns. 6: You should only be able to drop a limited number of ammo crates from the repair/ammo trucks. 7: if you have a territory you should be able to add defenses to it. There's no challenge at all seizing an enemy territory as it is now. Basic defense could also be automatically created with a few soldiers and 1 or 2 machine guns around the territory, which could later be filled up with more soldiers and more machine guns.

That roof looks rather funny. Like some... weird house or something. Make them straight, and with a more triangle like shape. Like jet fighters. -

yay BTW hydrogen engines would be my choice for stealth vehicles since they barely make any sound at all. saw that on discovery. Honda had made a hydrogen car prototype and there was no sound at all. Not even at start and then it just started going forward (there must have been ghosts pushing it I tell ya) -
I get like 22,20,20,19,20 so it's almost the same. The problem is that the test is running when I load textures so I think that lowers it all. I got quite a good system tough. AMD 4200+ 64 2x, GeForce 7950 GTX, 1 GB of ram, X-fi soundcard. I think the memory might be the bottleneck cuz it might result in the poor loading time of the textures.

Just make it nuclear powered. Then you don't have to turn the engines off for the forseeable future. what if it gets blown up then ? then we got lots of damage to environment and humans. in the nuclear powered subs they got a guy that sits at a single button, protected by lots and lots of armor. his only task is to shut down the nuclear reactors if he thinks the sub will sink or blow up. are you gonna have one to watch the one it that little APC ? would be much more effective to just use normal fuel and shut down the engines. -
dunno about a 3ds plugin, but I'm pretty shure there will be a maya plugin capable of exporting geometry, skeleton, animations and painted weights.

open your map, press group on your brefing, click your name, select the weapons you wanna drop and press the "drop" button. They probably removed this action from the list to clean it up.

well, consider it like this. landing gear is easy to make, looks good and makes it more realistic. and you do wanna keep some level of realism right. -

the problem is just that you need something below the transport that pushes it upwards, something like magnetism. The problem is just that it's a bit hard to place such things over the entire planet. so if there aren't anything that pushes it up form below the force has to come from above creating a pressure under hoverer equal to it's weight. Therefor u need an energy source in the vehicle. A landing gear would be very practical -

Nice, but you've forgot something. How about some landing gear? You can't have the engines running forever you know as soon as you shut them down I guess it will fall onto the ground. -

how does it work? Not that you need to work it out 100% but just so it's a bit realistic. like where is the engines and the things that makes it hover? yeah I'm a prick ain't I ? -
There is only one penetration value, which means every type of ammo uses the same penetration value. EVERY type of ammo ( dunno about explosives tough ). Pistols and machine guns are all the same in this matter Having a vehicle being penetrable by the M107 would make it penetrable by all weapons. about the 5,45 vs 5,56 If I remember right the 5,56 penetrates less because the top of the bullet is weaker/stronger than the lower part. This will make is shatter upon impact causing a lot more damage to you, This because the pieces will go in different directions increasing the chance of some of your vital organs and arteries getting hit making the chance of you dying higher than if a bullet passes straight through you. Saw this on national geographic, machine guns or something like that.

hmmm, I'm not very much for controlling fps games with a joystick. if only the wii was as powerful as the 360. perhaps I can plug the controller into the computer with some haxing

those wheels wont grip as well as if you would have the studs a bit more spread out, this would also increase stability and loose less power because it would have to climb less to get over each row of studs. And power saving is very good since you can reduce the weight of the engine and add more cargo. I think you should have something to drive on roads with as well ( that is if they will exist ). the dirtbike/enduro pchycics are the worst you could ever imagine. Very uncontrollable, they are waaaaaaaaay to weak, especially for a 640 and a 1000. Acceleration is to slow and they turn the same, doesn't matter if you're doing 40 or 80. Dunno about the cars tough, never tried it but it sure as hell doesn't seem right KTM 525 EXC they should be like that that is in acceleration and a few other things.

I wouldn't recomend you to use ofp-anim, altough you could. This beacuse of the simple fact that you have to edit every frame one by one so it takes a long time, the result is often bad and you often get twisted limbs. But it's ok for static anims You could use maya (especially if you're gonna animate a custom organic cuz from what I've heard you will be able to export the painted weights of the skin with BIS' plugin. altough the average guy might not afford it and I wouldn't recomend you to spend 2 mounths of payment on an animation program, but you know what I mean right

there's a program called robsoft which calculates ballistics. pretty good if you ask me, but then, I'm no expert robsoft ballistics
