The setunitpos command doesn't work for me anymore. Did they change the command? If so, what is it then and is it possible to make a soldier go crouch? Beacuse you can do so with the command menu now.

It will lag... if you run the game at 10 000 meters of viewdistance. however IMO it's no big difference between 10 000 and 4000 beacuse the terrain is blocking the view anyway. and BTW JW. my computer lagged beacuse you put all the jeeps on a spot that was less than 10 m2. and BTW my computer was fragged as hell

for me it's not the sound of the choppers, it's the sound of the tanks and the anoying fact that you can hear one chopper or tank across the entire island -
but now you can order your soldiers to stay crouched. shouldn't that mean that there should be possible to have a command for that?

I've had to take of my headphones beacuse of this. Tanks in arma sounds like tractor pulling machines. You know those machines that goes so loud that you gotta hold your ears sometimes anyway, you can even hear one tank in the south is you're standing in the very north of the island. Are you really supposed to hear a tank that's like 14 km away? and when you have to many tanks it's to much for my headphones (and me) to handle. any1 ellse experincing this?

you could quite easely find out. make a cube in 3ds which side is 1m. inport it into whatever program you like. meshure the lenth of the cube sides. if you're lucky it will be the same as in 3ds. if not you can simply do like this now take whatever you got and devide it with every model you create. Edit* whatever, questions answered

I've heard somewhere that you will be able to work with the animations in maya and/or 3ds by simply inporting them. Has this been confirmed. Beacuse it would make my life so much easier

I can kill 3 fast zombies with a pistol. and I can kill more than 10 with a rifle. the "secret" of it: move. if the zombies closes up on you, maybe it's time to move away a few meters? don't just stand there. slow ones? how can it possibly be hard to fight slow ones. I could take the unholy cult as an example. it was one of the easiest zombie battles I've ever played. and they still run at 15 km/h. those zombies got the armour you want right? 3 body shots or 1 head shot for one kill.

just wanna try to see what it's like when 150 A10s are dropping bombs at the same time I can't find the command for dropping a bomb I know there's something like planename fire "LaserGuidedBomb" but it doesn't work for me

I'm not the one making the zombies so that decision comes from some1 ellse. so I'm really just expressing my opinion ain't I? and well it's gonna be lowered. but not to one HS. BTW I never said that there should only be two zombies more like 40+

Well, I thought we were talking about HEAD-shots... Are you serious with this? Well I think a mission with jsut one or two zombies would be quite boring. Watch movies like Dawn of the Dead or other movies from the "George A. Romero - Universe" The atomosphere comes from the numbers, but the zombies can be killed with one headshot... In my opinion this is, how this mod should be... well... I'm gonna tell you something funny. serveral 100s of zombies lags... no really, they do! AND, slow zombies, beleave it or not, are very slow. it is boring to just run and take them down one by one with one shot. if you can't hit the head then you got serious problems aiming. and if you noticed, spawning lots of zombies adds lagspikes. and YES I am really serious. when speaking of easy and medium I mean normal fast and zombies slow. I'm not speaking only of zombies right now. and BTW in most movies, isn't it like that, that even a roadblock full of soldiers can't stop a big horde cuz it made of serveral 1000s of zombies right? well try to put that in ofp and your comp will fry. what we can do tough is to add armour to the body and other limbs

are you mad? 1 to 5 shots. that would be like civilians going on painkillers. why don't we just use the civil armour values? comeon... It's zombies. I'd say 5 shots for the easy ones 8-10 for the medium and 15-20 for the really hard ones. if you think that the zombies are to tough, why don't u use less of them? and put some ammo here and there in your mission. you're not gonna survive on 2 glock mags are you?

that's pretty laggy... BTW the memory doesn't matter in ofp as long sa you've got over 512 or something. processor and GFX is all that matter (buuuhuuuuuuu I want dual processor )

we have no idea when the next update is gonna be. Modwork is unpredictable as people has their own lifes.
