  1. Thanks for the reply peeps... I was more thinking of a campaign covering one large battle on one island. Smaller battles (siege a town fx) would be generated, and you could be choosen to anticipate in that batte, while other battles would be happen elsewhere as well. And you could see on an overall map how the hole battle was going.. Well, that too probably didn't made alot of sense..
  2. Hey. I was just thinking last night and was wondering if a dynamic campaign could ever be made for a game like this. I was thinking of a campaign-engine like in some flightsim. Like Falcon 4, just in a much smaller scale offcause. Each team on the island could start up with 2-3 small bases around the island and those would have limited supplies and would only resupplied once every day or something like that.. The campaign engine should then automatic generate missions like baseassault or Airstrikes against the enemy that you could choose to take part of or not. The campaign should offcause go on in real time day and night and you should be able to join a tank-platoon or a special forces team or something like that. And it would be necessary to have small recon units scattered around the island for days.. I realized that there are so many talentet guys out there making so many mods for OFP so maybe this could be done someday… or are people only thinking of multiplayer these days..? Or is this idea just to far out??? Well, just a thought…… Thanks for reading this.. M

    Resistance editor addon...

    When talking about this editoraddon: Should this new editor add-on be placed in the resistance add-on or the orig. Add-on..?? one more: Some of the old missions produce an error message saying "editoraddon 1,02 missing" when trying to load them. They still loads fine though but should this just be ignored or is there something missing from the missions?? Thanks in advance.. F.

    Yes, I noticed that most off the missions still loads, even though an error message pops up. But does that meens that the missions works 100% and nothing is missing? I don't wanna play the missions if something importent is missing.. aahh. sĺ ikke dannebro fřr. tak for svaret. tror jeg prřver den gamle op. firelord igen..

Just one question: The old custom-made missions that required the editorupgrade seems to cause problem when trying to start them from new resistance flashpoint (v. 1.75). fx when trying to start the old Operation Firelord mission an error message pops up saying that I need the editorupgrade1.02 even though it's in the add-on folder. Have tried the new editorupdate made for resistance but no luck there eighter.. So is it possible to get these old missions work with resistance without an error message popping up??? BTW: should the new editorupgrade1,02 made for resistance be placed in the resistance add-on or the orig. flashpoint add-on..? Thanks in advance.. M
  7. Great news. Tried wright's soundpack last night and I think is much better than the orig resistance sounds, but Sathels soundpack is still the best IMHO. But could somebody please tell which sounds are changed in this pack and from who the new sounds are taken from. Thanks in advance...

    Freezing every 5-10 sec.?

    thanks everbody for answering my post.. My system: AMD 1,4 ghz GF 4 (440 mx version) 1 gb swapfile 512 mb ram. The strange problem is that my system runs resistance fast enough except the pauses once in a while. So it seemed more like a lack of ram problem or something like that. Well, the problem does not happen that much when playing as a foot soldier compared to flying around, so I guess I can live with it. Besides the problem seems to get smaller when I crank down the terrain and textureres (It just need to be lowered a lot to get rid of the pauses). thanks again. BTW: This should not be considered as a complain of resistance. Is a great add-on to a fantastic game... To Reaper: I think you main problem is your voodoo3. I really loved the voodoo series but v3 is geeting pretty OLD by now so consider buying a new video asap. It would really be worth it (I would recommend a Geforce 4 ti 4200. fast and cheap I think).

    Freezing every 5-10 sec.?

    hey to all... I found this question over at the "troubleshooting FAQ" forum: Q: Operation Flashpoint is freezing for a while every 5-10sec. I have Geforce XX and the newest drivers. A: You must uncheck in D3D settings "Enable alternate depth buffering technique". Where can I find it? Right click on desktop >Properties >Settings >Advanced > Geforce bookmark >Additional Properties > Direct3d setting. Right... I myself have this problem with resistance (not with orig. flashpoint). But my drivers dosen't have this funktion (using 29.something official nvidia drivers). I'm using the Riva tuner program but I can seem to find this funktion here. I guess the funktion is avaible, but just called something different, so does anybody know what this funktion could be in Riva tuner. Thanks in advance.. morten
