I also have the double radio speech bug with just CBA loaded. Is there any fix for it yet?

Anyone else having a problem with radio messages playing twice? I only have cba and this stance mod enabled and it seems to be this mod that causes it. With just cba enabled I only hear the radio mesages once.

Thanks. Trouble is i've been through the whole VAC profile and there isn't a backspace command anywhere in it. It seems it's the ingame radio voices that cause it to happen so the only work around I have is to turn the ingame voice volume right down so it doesn't pick it up.

I'm using VAC (voice activated commands) to control my sqaud about and i'm getting a very frustration problem. For some reason every few seconds my mic is picking up something and activating the backspace command key. I've tried everything to adjusting the mic and speaker volumes to making a new vac profile from scratch, nothing works. It seems the backspace command key is hardcoded and can't be reassigned to something else. Is there anyway around this?

Hmmm. According to the motherboad specs i can use a phenom 2 x4 955 which is 95 watts. I can only find them at 125 watts though. Do they make different versions? It also seems my current 6000+ cpu is rated at 125 watts. Bit weird as i bought it as a bundle with the motherboard and ram.

Thanks. I already have an arctic cooler freezer pro which is really effective. Do you think doing this will make much of a difference?

Just checked the motherboard specs (it's a MCP6P M2+ with an AM2+ socket) and it says it supports these cpu's.

I want to run Arma2 a bit smoother and think i could do with a processor upgrade. I currently have an AMD athlon 64 x2 6000+ processor. What should i upgrade to without having to change my motherboad?

How do you play at different times, places and roles? I see no options anywhere.

Download Ntune. This will let you adjust the fan speed. Mine is meant to automatically speed up or down the fan but it doesn't for some reason, i have to manually do it in Ntune.

All fixed. My cpu and/or gpu was overheating. Blasted it with compressed air to get every last bit of dust out and now all is good.:)

All sorted now, just been playing for 3 hours straight and no problems at all. Turns out it was due to overheating. Blasted out all the heatsinks and fans with compressed air and now it's perfect. Thanks for a brilliant mission.

I am getting exactly the same thing but only in one mission. I am using an nvidia 260 gtx but i always increase the fan speed to 100% using ntune.

Even if i am only using 3 groups of inf a side it still does it. After about 10 minutes of playing the screen freezes and i get a loud noise from the speakers. I have to reboot as the pc is completly locked up.

This is an absolutly awesome mission, i really really want to play this one but i can't. It keeps freezing up on me and i have to reboot the computer. No other missions are like this for me, any ideas?

Hi Frosty thanks for the reply. I'm running an amd athlon 64 6000+ 3.1 ghz processor with a nvidia gtx 260 card and 4 gb of ram. It's not ligntning quick but it seems to handle most other missions very well. I tried the a10 mission which was alot smoother than the 2 chopper ones.

Tried this today, it looks great but for me it's unplayable. My pc can handle most other missions but this lags so much it's very hard to fly. Is it just me?

I had exactly the same error messages. It all seems to work ok except it takes ages to start the game now and sometimes it takes about 5 minutes to load a mission.

I installed patch 1.56 the other day after removing a beta patch first. Now it takes about 5 minutes to start CO up instead of a few seconds. It just goes to a black screen with the curser then eventually starts. I did get some errors when i installed the patch but every different mirror i tried i got the same thing. These are some of the errors.

I didn't play with Chesty lot of month... So currently I don't know what's this. But I'll check.Did you apply beta-patches?
I packed my campaigns to pbo with ArmA2 engine and not 3rd party tool, but testers - who apply beta-patch of OA - report my pbo is wrong. Funny BIS can't accept their OWN pbo, but if I use 3rd party pbo-tool, it works.
Maybe the problem will solved if I repack Chesty with this tool...

Just tried the update and it crashes to desktop everytime on the first mission. Whenever the seahawk goes to land it just shuts the whole game down. Anyone else have this or know a cure?

If you go right up to the officer there should be a join command in the action menu. Get the officer to join you squad then your medic should heal him. Worked for me.

Any chance of changing the flare sounds for aircraft? IMHO it is the worst sound in the whole game.

Is there a random weather script in which every time you start the same mission the weather is different? I tried randomweatherscript2 but as far as I know with that the weather always starts the same and changes over time. I really want one that starts randomly and stays that way.
