    Yeah that should do it. And then add two counters. One for compas heading and one for range. Kinda like the first artillery addon. Think it was made by someone called goetefunke or something like that

    and this is not complaining about the inaccuracys of the mortor but...i set up 7 east men (about one squad) and i set up 10 mortors with resistance as a enemy to east. the mortors sees the east soldiers and begin firing, but the shells keep over shooting the soldiers of some 20 meters and it keeps hitting the same spot... about 3 mins later, all the morters run out of ammo and the smoke clears, i take out my binocs and to see all 7 solders still alive and is now shooting back at our mortor squad. and yes all the mortors keep shooting the same spot.<span id='postcolor'>

    Aye have the same problem. Maybe if possible make target accurate but make grenade have a diversion in it so it will hit in target area +/- 30 meters more in different directions.

    Also two other things.

    Maybe add some kind of scope for aiming. I know that mortars have some kind of small binocular fixed on it. Think its for aiming it on fixed point in the firing direction but wouldnt know since im not trained on a mortar.

    Also make the Mortar turn instead of grenade firing out in strange angels from the tube confused.gif

  3. Just downloaded it and tried it. Looks good and works when you are gunner but ai seems to use a very long time before he desides to fire. Had 4 m60 drive up to 50m infront of one with nofire waypoint so he wouldnt get killed and it took around 20sec after they stopped before he started fireing. didnt even shoot at them when driving. Dunno if this is something that can be fixed.

    Also would rather not have the rockets lying in front of it looks pretty stupid that when fireing it hovers up in front of the barrel and then start engine and fly.

    But else its a great piece of work and they should do more like those. Other ideas on this link.

    How do you know that it won't be released for months?  If they really got on the ball, I imagine it could be released very soon.  I imagine that right now they're trying to figure out how to model the interior which is notoriously difficult to do for tanks.  Just look at the AAV-7 or the Sherman tank addons.  Plus it's very difficult finding screenshots of the interiors of some of these tanks.  sad.gif

    At any rate, I can't wait to see that tank even if the interior is cheezy.   The Merkava MBT is my all time favorite tank!  I mean look, the turrent even has dreadlocks on the back.  You gotta love a tank with dreadlocks.   LOL!  

    (I'm kidding those things hanging on the end of the turret are chains designed to stop RPG's from hitting the turret ring).

    Yeah i know. But the chance that you stay on target and kill it with the guns is very low because of the view distance, rate of fire and the damage it does, so i would rather have some free fall bombs than gunpods. But this was just how i would like it. Would think there are 100 of ways that people would like to see it.

    But yeah for stationary weapons the TOW, MILAN, AT-3, and AT-4 guided missle launchers would be very nice.

    I especially love the little "Suitcase Saggers".   Those are sweet and classic weapon systems used widely in the Middle East.  To bad there probably isn't a way to have the gunner carrying the "suitcase" and then have him sit down and fire it with all the parts layed out and assembled.  A tripod based system like the Milan, AT4, or TOW would probably easier to create I imagine.

    For the last part, that why i said stationary for all them. The guidance system on them are so big that they normally is a two crew based or more


  9. Might not be the rigth forum but would think theres a bigger chance of getting question answered here.

    Well here goes.

    Had Gmax installed some time ago but have changed to from win 2000 to win xp since so i downloaded and installed it again but here comes the problem when i need to register it again it says "succesful registrered" but when i try to start gmax it still says that i need to register. I tried the cookies test and settings are as they should be. So have anyone else had this problem and if yes how did you fix it??
