    Try looking at the DKM bronco's. I dont know how they did it but the gear on them looks like it's taken straight up instead off the forwardretracting. About the thing with the first well set. Are all the wheels connected or are they single wheel sets?? Atfer looking i would say single after looking. So maybe if you connected them.


  4. Nice work on the apilas but as you said yourself it could use a new skin. Also for the next update on it could you consider making the warhead (inventory) smaller?? . Its a "one shot" weapon so to only run around with 4 mags after you shot it is to little i would say. Maybe only 4 slots (6 slots now) That way it would still be to big to make it worth running with two warheads (would leave you with 2 mags) and you would still be able to have 5 mags and a grenade. Just something to think about. Keep up the good work.


  5. Could this be done to make a harrier flight model??

    In the config you would have both a heli and a jet config part. And then under the pop-up menu (the one with flaps, auto over) you would have a selection that would change between these two when selected.

    Something like this.

    -Engine Nozzle down - Would change to Chopper like behaviour and add auto hover on the pop up menu.

    -Engine Nozzle back - Would change to jet like behaviour.

    And maybe if possible make the animation aswell.

    If this is possible it would be really close to the harrier behaviour. You would be able to take off and land like a plane and a chopper. Only weird thing would be when changing from heli mode to jet mode in flight, since you would have to gain speed before changing. Or you would drop to the ground.

    So would this be possible??


  6. Great work looking forward to the patch. Since there´s some new units coming with the pacth could you squeze this in as well.

    -West units with the G3 and the FN Fal (Should have been done in the resistance addon, At least i think smile.gif  ).

    Also is there any progress on the surgestions kegetys once made like the one with different classname for editor and ingame, so you wouldnt have to have a soldier ingame called Creatorname_soldier and so on.

    And also the part about selection for desert/winter units. You mentioned in that post that you would look into some of it and see if it where possible.

    Even though you showed a solution how to get rid of the creator name ingame it wasnt really a fix, You would get base character name instead. But if you as and example want it to say British soldier it cant be used. And since theres alot of uniform skin makers looking at the same things there are bound to be a creator name in front of it. This feature would really improve the game feeling (wouldnt say game play since its a visual thing more than the other).

    Just a idea that you maybe havent been thinking on. Try looking in the config file for the helipads. There most be something there that defines that its the spot to land if you are a ai chopper pilot. And would think that the pads maybe is some kind of a "building" since its Flat piece with texture on located under objects

    However it can be done.  KKB made an outstanding M4 that had the correct size of the weapon and looked WAAAY more realistic (in size that is) then any other M4 or M16 that I have seen since in OFP.  

    So it can be done if you want to play around with that idea.

    Size looks like it should be (had one myself when i was in the army). Just because its 5.56mm doesnt mean that its smaller.

    Example with real life length.

    C7 5.56mm is 1020mm - 102cm - 1.02m

    HK G3 7.62mm is 1023mm - 102.3cm - 1.023m

    So the HK G3 which is a 7.62mm weapon is only 3mm longer than the C7. So not really a point to say that its to big wink.gif

    As others said it only have single and full auto but you are

    already on that.

    About the cyclic rate keep it OFP compliant until theres some one that makes something to follow so guns wont be overpowered.

    And keep the green spots on the elcan

    Also a thing/feature that would be nice to add to the finished LSW, would be to give it the choice of either Normal mag ( the one it got now) and the C-mag (The Danish homeguard uses the c-mag as main mag, and it would be the better choice to a support weapon). And make them change ingame like on some of the weapons in the HK-Pack.

    Also would be a nice thing when playing and the LSW guy runs out of ammo to give him some of your ammo.

    Are you working on other Diemaco weapons??

    One that seems to be missing if you think of both canadian, dutch and danish forces are the C8.

    Other things that would be great is this

  13. Looked around with the search funtion and found out from a couple of threads that you need to do this to get Buldozer to work with O2 light. So this should save some time for others.

    - Copy the flashpoint.cfg from your flashpoint game folder and put in your buldozer folder.

    - In O2 light you do the following.

    Choose file and then options double click on external viewer and choose the buldozer.exe file from your buldozer folder. Then add the following line after the .exe

    -window -noland -dx

    So you have this in the filename slot

    buldozer.exe -window -noland -dx

    Well this is what i have found out for now. Might need to do more. So if you know more please add it to this post.

    But from this you should be able to see a model in O2light in buldozer by using the external viewer button in O2light

    I just played around with it again and tried what you said i should. I placed myself with a AK and then i put 7 guys with your MG3 around 170-200m aways and took some shot above there head to get there attention. And here comes the shock. They cant hit me even though i where standing up. Out of ten tries same distance i where killed once before they ran out of ammo. And if you dont believe me try it yourselfs. Also tried it at smaller ranges around 100m and same thing happend. Also got killed once here, and here comes the funny part, when one of them took the mg3 on his back ran forward with his gun knelled and shot me. Also made a test where i had a hill behind me to see where the shots where hitting. All shots was "pretty" close together, i would say like they should be from a mg, but they where all about 2-4 m above my man. And in a last test i put 10 guys 150m and shot all with the ak standing without getting killed.

    Conclusion of test

    - Really Great MG3 Model

    - Small model correction (cocking lever dimensions, look on pictures at earlier post)

    - Missing ammo name on ammo counter

    - Sound (still sounds wrong in my mind)

    - Recoil (if you want ai to be able to control it)

    Hope this is something you will look at. This is not and i repeat not meant in a bad way. And as you yourself said on the Goals/plans i quote

    Well it kinda started as a bug thread with 4 things.

    -Ammo name missing ("REAL" bug)

    -Recoil

    -Cocking lever (I will call it a model bug since it isnt in the right dimensions. Also posted links to pictures that supports my feedback)

    -Sound (Maybe not a thing you call a bug, but i do)

    Think this might be the problem. you said that you had a real MG3 sound and shortend it down to a single shot stream. Think that might have ruined it. But there really isnt any reason to cut it down to a single shot since in real life its possible but very hard to only fire one shot. I know that MG 3 gunners in the danish army are trained to only fire 3 shot bursts, and that takes some training because of the high rate of fire. So maybe if you tried taking a stream with say 3 or 4 shots (and maybe also let the gun fire 3-4 shot pr. click) it will sound better.

    EDIT:

    This is not to downgrade or bitch about your addon, if i wanted to do that i would just have said it sucked or something like that and as said before i really like the model. All i did was give some fair feedback/critismn and a request to make some small correction that will make it even better.  smile.gif  smile.gif and im not alone about that thought


  16. I have fired live and blanks. Fired at shooting ranges and country side, valleys, fighting village. From bipods, tripods and Turret. Even fired at a burnt out T-34 in bosnia  biggrin.gif And i wasnt even MG gunner. And believe they all where version 62
