I think the police models could be better used for the sailors, and again I ask if it is possible to take Alexandras hat and switch it with a man. In any case the pilotka would be better for the sailors in my opinion. Man, sometimes I wish Uce was still around he made some great textures. In fact I am using his naval infantry as a place holder until some one else makes better sailors. So can some one please consider doing the ofp world a favor and make some sailors?

true, what I really wanted was some sailors with a black pilotka, and a blue -white striped shirt -could not find one on sovietarmy.com, but serioulsy would any one consider making a sailor as this would really add to the already great addon.

is it possible to be a bird in single player? or to have birds in single player because I saw them in the beginning cutscene a long time ago for normal OPF but I cant figure out how to make them appear in single player, u see I have no use for the kozlice w/o em anyhoo I would also like to know if you can trade parts of uniform with different soldiers specifically Alexandras hat with a reg. soldier.

so why exactly wont Satchels pack work in Resistance, I mean cant you change the cfg files to v1.76 just but editing the numbers or is it something else?

Exactly, actually pilotkas were quite common behind the lines and they were worn under the helmet by normal infantry, that is in the 40s, 50s, maybe 60s but later on I dont know. But is it possible to put Alexandras pilotka on a normal guy? that's my question. It would look good for a WW2 Russian pack. The reason quite a few soldiers wore them in the early 40's is that the Russian industry wasnt making the steel helmets in large quantities yet since the steel was used on tanks, guns, airplanes, and everything else but the soldiers head, so the guys wore their pilotkas in the summer and transfered the red star onto the ushanka in the winter.

See the problem is that when countries asked for their independance from Russian and Russia gave them that independance like Azerbijan, the Chechans wanted it too. It would not have been such a problem if Chechnya was 400 hundred miles in any other direction but from what I heard it is sitting on a big pile of oil, which Russia needs. Also the problem is that with every strike the terrorists (-rebels-) (politically correct) make the more paranoid the Russians become, actually you cant believe one side or the other so it is all a big freakin mess which my cousin is training for under Leningrad (St. Petersburg), Â but I am generally biased in supporting the Russians as I am one but it is inadvisable to believe any side in Chechnya. anyway I was wondering if it is possible to put alexandras hat on a regular soldier, it would be much more realistic as the pilotkas were quite comman in the Red Army. just wondering, I mean the model is there I just wanted to know if it was possible to take from Alexandra and put on a guy.

yeah! but still Lobster, are you guys going to make Russian infantry pack? I mean there are not that many weapons that would need to be modeled, most notably the mosin -nagant, the maxim 1910, and the ppsh41 which I think Fubar is making, I dont know but please guys include the Russians in the world war two packs.

nope mostly infantry. Infantry, infantry, infantry, more and more tanks later on but mostly infantry. I mean how else would 7 million + russian soldiers die in WW2? Tanks were used more often towards the end of 1941 and later on but in the beginning the were spread out over the front in penny packets.

sigh   will anyone remember the eastern front and model some Russian soldiers, it does get frustrating to see all these units being made about British, American, furthur on Japanese yet leaving out the biggest and bloodiest front. I mean please people make some Russian soldiers. please! These packs look great but the Russian front makes the one in Western Europe look like a cakewalk. Im not trying to downplay what the allied forces did in W. Europe but 80% of the German casualties were on the Russian front. I just want a Russian soldier, a regular Ivan with a mosin nagant rifle, and I ll be a happy camper, I tried making my own but it didnt quite work like I wanted it to. Pretty much turned to crap some I am appealling to you mod makers to please help me out!

well heres a true story to lighten up the situation. In the lower regions of the CCCP, an inspector were traveling to report on the conditions of the newspaper. Some university students staying for the summer were called to a conference. (now since it was hard to find toilet paper there... other means were used to achieve that goal.) The students were asked if there could be any new changes to make it better. Obviously, the inspector was expecting nothing but compliments when one student chirped up with the idea to make the paper ink lighter. "Why is that?", the inspector asked. "well", said the student "cause we all have black asses!" as the other guys hooted with laughter the hooligan was hauled down to the local police station to be "rehabilitated" anyways thats my two kopecks

I am not necessarily proud of the soviet govt just my Motherland, it would have made no difference if it was under the Czars or under Stalin. Its just the tradition and the fact that my family activily contributed to the defence of our land. Wardog I agree with you on what you say and I am sorry about your family trials in Siberia because I know what thats like. The government I could have cared less about but the people are what really matter to me. My grandfather went into battle with the words Za Rodinu on his lips not Za Stalina. Yes I admit that the Soviets have committed atrocities and I am not covering those up but it looks like the Slavic People as a whole suffered most during the last century and I just proud that we survived. No communism is just a theory so it wouldnt really work as in the the end the whole country was supposed to be an anarchy system without the government( read that in a book about Lenin) not a dictatorship., in my opinion the Soviet Union was just an experiment that became stagnant and failed when the poeple who started it appointed themselves leaders. hopefully Russia will rise with democracy and not under communism.
