Become War Production Update - Aub 8th 2002 'Become War' is a 3d animated short film set in Vietnam, in 1968. It tells the story of one man's experiences in during the war, and while not typical of a soldiers experience of that conflict the plot will shed some light on combat, loyalty and what it was like to be in country. Hi all, This is the main character from a short film I have in production called 'Become War'. (more info at http://www.davidtitusproductions.com/bw) Just thought I'd post an update in case anyone was interested. http://www.davidtitusproductions.com/soldier1.jpg (image size was 165k - please do not hotlink to pictures greater than 100k size - ill let u off this time because i like ur website ) The title of the film comes from the motto the main character has inscrobed on his helmet cover... I'm going for a blend of cartoony and realism as far as the look of the film goes. It's a very difficult line to walk, but I'm enjoying the challenge I've set for myself. This guy is the 3d embodiment of my cartooning style, so that part is working out ok. It's merging this style with more realistic textures, environments and equipment that's the real challenge. I've had OFP since it was released, played CS since beta 5 (though haven't played in a long time) and owned GR since release as well. It's not the games that are new, it's a new version of my site hence the article. It sas strictly a message forum before but I'm using it slightly different now and thought I'd post the article as I had discussed that sort of thing with some friends recently and it was on my mind. I figured I'd share it here as I know you guys are (obviously) OFP fans. No harm intended. Feedback, positive or negative is appreciated as always. thanks folks, datter

np guys, I appreciate the feedback. The comparison came from several discussions I had with some friends regarding which of the three they'd rather spend time playing. I'm not saying one is better than the other all out, just the pluses and minuses of each in relation to each other vs what someone might be looking for in a game. Be sure your desktop resolution is the same as your game resolution, at least while playing... that will fix the problem. datter
