    DESCRIPTION
    OPCOM is a "see what you get" menu to set up a single-player scenario for missions and a basic liberation mode. You can also drop into other maps, directly from your current scenario, to execute a special operations mission. It takes just a few clicks to set everything up to your liking. Also great for testing new maps and other content.

    The menu has customization options, so you don't have to stick with its name, colors, or my logo in the boot sequence.

    GLOBAL OPS UPDATE (17.02.2022)

    In Global Ops, you will drop from your current scenario into any other map of your choice in the Arma world! Here's what you can expect:

    • Deploy from your current scenario to Global Ops missions on any other map.
    • Set up to three different objectives for your operation.
    • Insert on foot, with a helicopter or para drop into the action.
    • Easy Access from a homebase on Stratis in Singleplayer Scenarios.
    • Your entire setup carries over to the Global Ops mission.
    • The Global Ops mission ends after all objectives are done or failed.

    MORE UPDATE FEATURES

    • OPCOM should now work on more maps, as long as they have at least three locations.
    • OPCOM should now work with more factions.
    • You can now add and delete single units from your squad.
    • Access to the full arsenal, including all ACE items.
    • Import and export your OPCOM loadouts to BIS and ACE arsenals.
    • Add vehicles from all factions of your side to your current faction.
    • Change your operator type in the commander settings of your faction.
    • Randomized weather system (experimental).
    • OPCOM now works on other screens than 16:9 (at least tested with 4:3, 16:10, and 21:9)
    • Your squad now heals themselves or each other when wounded or down.
    • Disable OPCOM respawn and revive system entirely.
    • Script and performance optimization.

    OPCOM KEY FEATURES

    HOW TO USE OPCOM

    1. Place a unit on the map in 3DEN editor (you can change faction etc, in the menu).
    2. Place the OPCOM module on the map. It can be found in ‘modules >> ai-mods’
    3. Save your mission to single-player scenarios or play directly from within the editor.
    4. Open OPCOM from your action menu or bind a key in Arma settings.

     

    COMPATIBILITY AND KNOWN ISSUES

    • Don’t use respawn, revive or damage multipliers, if you use ACE or other mods that include medical features or damage handling.
    • Some combinations of mods may cause issues when spawning the dummies or vehicles in the menu (just happened once with Project Blufor and COD: MW2-Core enabled. The Game crashed when a new dummy spawned on faction change.)
    • Performance drops with ambient flybys over large AI groups.
    • Various problems if you decide to play in multiplayer, despite the mod's singleplayer nature!
    • Bloodlust mod conflicts with OPCOM respawn (will look into it).

    You can now...
    ...import and export following settings through different OPCOM scenarios:

    • AI Setup   
    • Gameplay   
    • Player   
    • Menu   
    • Faction Data (including operator, support and squad for each faction)

     

    ...enable a permanent parachute option (settings >> gameplay >> misc.):

    •     when you exit an aircraft, your squad will follow
    •     once you are in freefall, you'll have the option to open the parachute
    •     your squad pulls parachute when you do or
    •     your squad pulls parachute automatically at a height of 100-75 meters

     

    ...set up a custom keybind to open OPCOM:

    • go to Arma settings   
    • select 'Controls'   
    • in the drop-down list at the top should be a mod section with 'Ai-Mods' entry at the very bottom of the list   
    • set your keybind to launch OPCOM

     

    The new features should work, but they are experimental and work in progress. Don't use, if you experience game breaking issues.

     

    Performance:

    • faction data collection on first boot of OPCOM should be faster now, especially with lots of factions loaded
    • possible gameplay performance boost, due to script optimization and bug fixes

     

    PLEASE NOTE: I cannot guarantee, that your exported data can be still used after the next update! Until full release it's recommended to start a new game after OPCOM got an update.

    **INFORMATION**
    This is a small update to fix some annoying bugs and problems. For usability, I've tweaked the faction settings to make it more intentional on how to change commander, infantry, vehicles etc. 

    I've also started reworking the AI settings. They now have their own category in the settings. You can set skills per faction and for your squad. If you use other mods that set skills, or if you want to keep everything from your Arma profile settings, skills can now be disabled and they are disabled by default. You can also make your squad invulnerable, if you don't want them to die.

    Sorry for not having more at the moment, but this week I've had a few issues and found out, that I'll need a small surgery, next week. Nothing concerning, but painful, which holds me back from scripting.

    In the second half of December I should be back in the saddle and be able to script and deliver more. Meanwhile I do what I can. 🙂

    I cannot guarantee, that this update will work with saves including the previous version of this mod.

    I have learning/mental health challanges , which make it extremely difficult to comprehend keyboard and mouse gaming , even though its highly unlikely to see even a basic xbx controller setup , I have a chatpad attached to my xbx series s cntrlr and currently working on creating an updated preset in the steam cntrlr manager . From what i have seen so far for this mod I am very excited to try this out as it looks to be a great help to creating/customizing single player scenarios and operations etc... , im hoping that I can create a situation based after the financial collapse in south lebanon 🇱🇧 based against Israeli and hezbollah forces, and beable to use my cntrlr to kick some A$$ and help civilians in need (which is also a great addition I must say ) as helping people speaks to something a care greatly about . Thank you so much for your work the time you have put into this mod , if this ever made its way to arma reforger for PC and console both to allow for cold war era and modern era combat I would reinstall reforger on my xbx for sure. Looking forward to seeing more progress with this mod once im finally able to start playing Arma 3 for the first time ever full time with my cntrlr

Hi I hope some of the devs will see this , I feel and possibly many others to , that bohemia should really be engaging more with us all like dev V/blogs and such and discussing where they are at with reforger and what they intend with this game . Like it or not we are investors as reforger is in game preview so by making an over valued purchase for its current state I and hopefully many others feel as though we have invested into this development , so it would be really great to hear more on its process and progress (if the development team could really fix the ongoing issues since launch . Paying for a game and not being able to enjoy it really isnt a great way to keep people into this game guys , the work you all are doing thank you seriously thank you for your hard work, I really hope to hear more on reforger over the summer .

  3. Hi , hope you are well , I myself am on xbox series s mostly but also have a gaming PC with the basic setup nothing fancy but im thankful to have a pc of course being on low income. But I find even on PC (with controller ) and my xbox Ive been having issues with mods requiring me to redownload multiple times in a row at random every time i turn on the xbox and log into reforger , plus the game crashing after only 20 minutes of being on the game it shatters me whole to not beable to actually play a scenario ive created in game master . I just ordered a chatpad for my xbox controller so im hoping that bad boy  will make a big difference in being able to play arma 2 and 3 plus DLCs campaigns and also scenarios i create in the editor if i could game with KBM i would big time maybe someday ill beable to get a joystick and one handed keyboard to go with my mouse that has buttons on its side , thank you for posting this its good to know im not alone with having issues with this game we all have paid for .

    Your not wrong I had to pay $44.98 canadian dollar for arma reforger on the xbox and also on pc this game has so much potential to be more then it is right now , a game title "preview" that has so many issues mainly with lower category of the player base (excluding content creators Q&A players etc..) and a majority of the player base depending on MODS for a more modern era of combat and yet they still wont take the friggin hint . But saying all this YES  it is way to over priced indeed..

    Ive already suggested bringing over campaigns and some of the content from arma 2 & 3 to reforger placed in a modern section of its own but also having a few maps useable in game master as well some of the content from DLCs in its own DLCs for reforger on console that people could purchase , it wouldnt be completed in a short period of time but it is absolutely doable with dedication and effort it can be done console players should be allowed to experience a more modernized era in military combat gaming why we are deprived is just sickening but a majority that oppose are keyboard and mouse gamers which i have no hard feelings towards KBM players just the part for those that look down at controller players and think we deserve nothing but crap which sickens me through my very core , your suggestion is great actually honestly turning REFORGER into a HUB between 2 eras is a great idea but will probably never happen sadly and we as console players will be left depending on mods that dont work a majority of the time because the game engine bwing developed has many issues being left unresolved especially the console port for the game .

     

     

     

     

     


  6. Arma3 has 'triggers' to start and end an objective/task/action ect.. 

    It would be so nice to beable to do things like that in game master on arma reforger. Any chance the development team might feel like granting us that ability with our created scenarios/campaigns , also possibly a list of placeable objectives we could choose from for each faction sort of like when placing safezones and such , instead itd be objective zone and in properties we just slect which objective it would be sort of like combat ops objectives even having a small list would be appreciated example only for refrence (hostage rescue,kill/capture HVT, disrupt communications/arms deal(adding an arms supplier in the civilian faction with the ability to select which faction its friendly with in property settings) maybe adding in a prisoner and hostage/s in the civilian faction could work also, but also gather intel , and destroy/steal vehicle/s ,etc.. when that new update comes out to increase AI capabilities these things would be so much more effective to create supply drops ,exfil , deployments and air support/QRF/MEDEVAC etc.. 

     

     At least please development team think on it please please please you guys have so much more opportunity now more then ever to include console players with some of the capabilities currently on PC scenario  creating but within reason of course.

    Soooo me being an xbox player but also have a pc (nothing fancy but capable of playing some steam games) just because people arent able to afford a high tech setup like you must have makes it so we console players dont deserve open world military games is that it ?  It pisses me off greatly the ignorance towards each other over the sole fact on how we choose to game it makes me sick to my core 


  8. Well actually an easier solution is creating made up sub factions for main factions EX:

     

    North american( north american Joint task force)

    Europe(European combat task force)

    Soviet areas ( New soviet combined military forces)

    Middle east (Middle eastern alliance military forces)

    Africa ( Progressive party of African militant forces)

    Asia( Liberation forces of Asia )

    "North Asia"( Militia forces of North Asia) - ( Guardian Forces of North Asia)>(presidential private security)

    also North Asia is obviously in reference to North korea but in an armaverse sense 

     

    Ultimate Revolutionized Resistance Militia ( a Guerrilla resistance faction) overall to be shared amongst the factions to be used however we choose to set them as 

     

    Factions like these could really make for great scenario creations etc... i really wish bohemia would be kind enough to consider that but also having options between cold war era and modern era would greatly be appreciated especially on console

  9. thanks for removing all of the modern era mods like kunar province, Taliban mod, MME, Weapons and so on that is the only reason I bought arma reforger  in the first place, I've noticed a massive slope in reforger on console this past week or two I get that its mainly a cold war era game but why cant we have 1 map a made up place with middle eastern( with compounds on the outskirts of town), Asian and European/Soviet environments within it  and a modern version of the 3 factions and allow us to have those mods back its not fair that we don't get modern era combat games but PC does then instead of implementing a controller layout for arma 3 (it is doable) like you have for reforger so something for common, infantry ,driving and flying  you just basically are trying to push us console and controller players away period is how its looking from here that is , look all I'm asking is to please just please don't push us out don't exclude us and please allow us that prefer modern combat era please please allow us to enjoy arma titles or even at least reforger as well

    Also itd be really nice if we could get a modern era combat put into the game (map,equipment,weapons etc..)  and even a middle eastern map for game master since kunar province map mod doesnt actually save what ive created and itd make sense for FIA faction to have a map to call home like a made up  place with the mid eastern enviroment/s and also actual stuff to be added to FIA faction like living quarters ,barracades beds ,medic tent etc.... itd be nice to beable to create a scenario involving a compound making a custom one within everon and arland just doesnt seem appropiate honestly also being able to customize outfits altogether and not just individually would be great to and better command settings for within gameplay so we dont have to switch to gamemaster so much its annoying and hard to do so quickly at times while in combat , and how about having actual objective markers for each faction so we can place a (ex: rescue/release hostage, 

    search/Disable IED, kill/capture HVT, pick up and escort high value personal etc...) adding actual objective placements and being able to edit them could really favor for a more realistic experience for sure and also a civilian faction would be decent to i know some people wont agree but to the ones that do please speak up let bohemia see us and hear us on these topics

    You can also use custom settings on that placed marker by editing it..find Intel, destroy vehicle, rescue etc...

    Thank you for this helpful tip. Would you know by chance of a few things 

     

    1. On xbox can i save my scenario that i create on kunar province everytime i save and exit to return it doeant have my creation like everon and arland does in game master.

    2.can i set it up so two factions can get along example: id like to create US faction as a guest of FIA faction , is that possible.

    3. When i change a faction members outfit via equipment box is there a way i can change even an infantry teams outfit altogether or do i have to do that

    individually ? 

    4. Can i also make objectives such as intel gather, rescue hostage, kill/capture HVT,  etc... (sort of like combat ops.)
