  1. What JSRS compat are you using? I run the AFRF standalone JSRS compat loaded before the RHS all in one compat and the AKs sound fine for my taste. You might only need to make adjustments for the newer weapons such as the RPK-74M, which inherit from wrong classes.  If you have a different sound then either some other mod is causing problems, or of you don't like the  JSRS content then a simple edit cant change anything and you need to consider other sound mods or the default RHS sounds. If you want to use sounds from a different mod, of creatie your own, then im afraid  i cant help you tho.

  2. This can be quite easely fixed by yourself in the corresponding jsrs files. Please note that last i checked the ACE compat for RHS had the same problem with certain classes, so you might need to do the same for those files in order to fix your issues if you are using this also. I can not go into details atm as i am away from my pc for a couple of days.

  3. Thanks for taking the time to reply. The CRS stocks do look more like something you are more likely to find at a civilian range or perhaps in law enforcement, rather than in military service. Forgot tot mention this in my previous post, but special thanks for including the handguns as well. They are often overlooked in ArmA, and it's nice to  see them get the same attention to detail as the assault rifles. The 9mm USP is my new favorite sidearm!

  4. First off thanks for the amazing update. This mod is pure quality. I cant wait to see more from your team. Ive been testing the new stuff out and i did run into some minor "issues".

    Firstly, the newly added M4A5 carbine with 14.5 inch barrel and quad rail has the same hand positions as the variant with the extended Troy hand guard with the KAG foregrip. As a result, the support hand is placed rather unfortunately, with the hand actually grabbing hold of the barrel and gas system of the rifle.

    This seems like a painful way to hold the rifle. It is the same for all variants of the quad rail carbine, regardless of what type of fore grip is attached to the lower hand guard.


    I also get an error when using the SR-25's, which i did not get in the previous version of the mod. The firing sounds for both the normal and suppressed fire can not be found (missing in .cfg?). I thought it was a JSRS sound issue, but i ran your mod without it and i got the same error. No firing sounds.


    Finally (on a personal note), i noticed the variants of the M4A5 Troy with the CRS telescopic buttstock are no longer in the mod. Are these scrapped or will they possibly return in the future? I think the CRS stock is sexy as hell and its sad to see it go, but perhaps it does not fit the theme.

  5. Back on topic with a question : has there been a recent change to the firing sound of the SPAR 16 rifles from Apex? I seem to recall them sounding a lot more crisp and on Point and up to JSRS standard, but the other night i notices that they are currently sounding quite flat and out of place. Could be another mod causing, and i couldn't directly find anything in the changelog, but maybe i missed an update or something? BTW i love your mod.

  6. Hey guys. Just a quick message regarding the DEV build for AFRF. I recently switched to this build just to see what had changed so far, and i noticed that while running AFRF:DEV version i could no longer use dovetail AK optics on (for example) the CUP AK's or other formerly compatible weapons with side mounts From non-RHS related addons. I noticed in the build log there was a change to the SVD JR compatibility and thought it could possibly be related? Anyway, when running normal AFRF i don't have this issue. Perhaps this change was intentional, or perhaps its an error on my side. The dovetail ak optics from RHS are my favorite scopes in the game and i just like using them on as much stuff as possible, so hopefully this is just a silly conflict on my part.

  7. Awesome update again guys. Everything top quality! Especially glad to see the addition of the classic M14 in all the juicy variants. I have noticed two things that could be a problem on my end, so i just want to check here with anyone to see if the problem exists with others before entering a bug tracker. I checked the tracker first and could not see anything related to it so this made me wonder...anyway :


    1. The USAF Mk 14 EBR has been replaced with the fictional "Mk18 ABR" from the vanilla game. I do run a couple of mods that add/change the vanilla Mk 18 ABR so the problem could be here. The correct icon is maintained.

    2. The default Socom 16 muzzle device is hidden in first person view. I can change it out with a different muzzle attachment, or remove it and put it back on, but it will remain invisible.

    Thanks in advance to anyone who can tell me if this problem is not occurring on their side, and again thanks to RHS team for bringing the best ArmA III content out there, coming from a proud patreon supporter!

  8. Thanks for the updates, the new retextures look awsome! Congrats also on the integration of the foregrip system on the Galils. Will you add compatibility with foregrips from mods like RHS / MGM grips  or will it be limited to your own content due to coding/animation restrictions? Will we see the foregrips implemented on other infantry weapons (the shotgun and the M14 / M1A come to mind)?  Keep up the great work and keep safe.
