I'm sick of Squad and all the noobs that are destroying it's public game play. I am equally tired of the Developers of Squad not fixing bugs that persist even after 3 years. I need a break. So i am looking for a milsim community to hook up with that is willing to show me their ropes. I'm a "boomer" as the kiddies say, but an avid gamer since the late 90's. Hello ladies and gents. I'm a veteran Squad player that is tired of the sitting on hands approach the dev's of that game are taking in finishing the game. As i am very frustrated with them, i'm looking to get away and try Arma 3. I'm an old fart lol, but an avid gamer, and have been since the late 90's. I'm really interested in Vietnam shooters. I ran team in a game called Vietcong in the early to mid 2000's. I'd like to get my feet wet but don't know how to get started. This game is vast and difficult to navigate. And by get started i don't mean play the training. I mean hooking up with a group to learn and have fun. Not looking for hardcore milsim, but maybe somewhere in between milsim and casual. I'm also told that the multi play in Arma 3 is not very appealing, is that so? I am sorry i missed the boat in this game, i really wish i hadn't. Will there is a new Arma game in the future? I know the performance of the game is a big issue so i was curious to know if anything new was in the works in terms of a completely new build of the game on a more favorable game engine?
