[US] 1st Battalion, 1st Marines | “First of the First” 1/1 Marines is an Arma III Milsim Community that was founded in July 2019. It’s current key members are a mixture of Active Duty, Reserve, and Retired Military, realized there were so many Communities to join but none that embodied what they were looking for in Milsim. 1/1 is a professional, well structured, well-maintained unit that isn’t afraid to have some good ol’ banter. Based on the real 1st Battalion, 1st Marines we aim to uphold their honor and traditions and emulate them as respectfully as possible. If you are looking for quality, standard milsim with no sneaky-beaky operators, then you have come to the right place. 1/1 aims to allow all it’s new members a chance to pick whichever MOS they like as long as it’s available. MOS’ are not locked upon selection either, we allow our members to switch roles as long as there is an open slot.
