Notice I said vehicle, imagine sitting in the back of a Humvee, or a transport truck on a dirt road. It would add a sense of movement, every bump would be "felt" instead of just sitting in a static position looking at the side asking if we're moving yet, only to find out we're already there. You would know that you were starting because you would slide to the back slightly and you would know when you stopped, because you would slide to the front, you would even know if you had a bad driver because he hit every god damn tree on the way in. :D

If "Jimmy" would take the time to change his keyboard settings it would be a lot easier. Here is how BIS SHOULD have made flight controls by default. :j: W & S - Throttle A & D - Rudder, not bank left or whatever Mouse - pitch and roll. With these simple changes and you might as well have a joystick. (I actually do better with this than my joystick, but that's just me. :p )

Even though I'm a keyboard/ mouse user, I'd just like to point out the fact that NOBODY has to download these, if you don't like the flight model don't get it. I support RKSL's decision no matter what; because frankly, it's his, not ours. I admire the fact that he came forward and asked us our opinions, and is actually considering them. And to be honest, I'm looking forward to the more realistic flight-model. Get to it Rock!!! :p

Speaking of which. I suggest anybody who wants to fly period use BF controls. They are going to be as realistic (and easy) as any game will allow with a keyboard and mouse. More to the point. I'm all for the harder flight model. The more realistic it is the better. This IS a simulator after all. :) Looking forward to a release of the Puma, as allways. :p

I hope we get something by Halloween. :D Edit: Hooker could use a bit more bite marks and bruises. Blood splots aren't enough. :p

In the ACE vid the screen blurred so bad I felt like Mr. Magoo. In the vid you posted the screen was shaking from the concussion of the gun. I would actually like to see an effect similar. When you're on/ near a MG emplacement there is a slight shake, depending on distance of course, for every round. Edit: Also, loved the latest update ACE team. :)

Sweet. But my only complaint is that somebody behind the barrel is effected by the gunshot, and yet not the shooter. If somebody behind the shooter is effected by it, shouldn't the shooter himself be effected? I suggest having a conical shaped zone pointing away from the gun at the muzzle as an effected area, instead of a blob around the shooter. similar to that. :)

I only got Xfire because my unit needed me to, other wise I still wouldn't have it. And I don't think that this is representative of the whole ArmA 2 player base either, but that's just me. Maybe we should ask BIS how many units they've sold.

The AI will fire on things you hide behind if they see you go there in an attempt to suppress you. It sounds like you aren't being stealthy enough.
