I can't find any xml file anywhere... :/ Edit: Thanks for the help, though. Edit 2: The move thing doesn't work, it just moves the cursor to the edge of the screen and I can't drag it or anything. -
You wouldn't live through that.

Is there a way to reset the window position to my primary monitor, without reinstalling? I had to unplug my secondary, but the window still defaults to the monitor that isn't there... -
What weapons/vehicles would you like to see in ArmA 3?

Fucking FUND IT!!! :D It's my favorite military truck of all time. -
 I know how that is. ;) Stupid Dropship. I also know how this is. Stupid homework. :D

Why should BIS even bother making anything, someone can just mod it later, right?

Awesome! :D Can't wait! Is it waiting on your site? :p

Will the tornado have the terrain avoiding/ NOE flying auto-pilot mode? :D

However, if you have a few Mk. 82s on your downed A-10, the secondary explosions aren't going to be a 500lb bomb. What I'm saying is having the actual ordinance explode, instead of having some little puff every now and again. I've managed to make a helicopter without fuel or weapons explode. Figure that one out. :p Yes, it is a nice and gratifying indicator, and it won't go away entirely. Things will still burn and they will still explode. Chances are, 9 times out of 10, a kill will result in an explosion. Let's face it, you aren't aiming for the tracks or lower hull of a tank. You're shooting at the engine or turret, where all the burny explody bits are. ;)

The infrastructure is already in the engine. Fuel leaks are already in engine, so are fires, all that would need doing is tweaking scripts so things don't blow up and putting the ammunition on a random timer in the presence of fire. :D And at worst it could be modded in. ;)

Rock, that truck looks better than most finished projects.

Weapons: Xm-25 OICW (Awwe yeah!) Vehicles: EH-101 UH-72 Lakota (Official US Army web page.) Leopard 2a4 (Or prior model) Equipment: HGU-56 with face mask option (Huge pic.) Also, everything at this site, please? http://www.starshiptroopers.net/NEWpropsandcostume.html :D -
I'm more than well aware of that. I fly a lot of other sims like both DCS games (Mostly Black Shark) and X-plane 9. However, with a keyboard and mouse setup, the way it's set up in ArmA now is perfect. How it's set up in TKOH is perfect for joysticks, and is REALLY nice with the throttle. (Though, after a while of playing, the throttle would bottom out at 50%, even though I had the collective to the floor.) Though, it did give me an opportunity to appreciate ground effect. lol Also, maybe the joystick dead-zone is linked to the mouse dead-zone. I have mine maxed out. :p

Flying around Takistan with the TKOH beta, I found it next to impossible to fly, keyboard & mouse and joystick. The issues were the ridiculously huge dead-zone with my X52 in the RV engine and the incremental throttle with keyboard. (what sucks is I don't have peddle controls using my HOTAS throttle and the mouse.) Ideally, the "thrust" would be handled like it is in ArmA now, with the option for analogue controls. Another thing I wouldn't miss is the torque effect, I know I have always said I wanted to see proper torque; but with the keyboard (What I'm sure 90% of the community, including myself, uses.) it was very difficult to fly, and right pedal with keyboard just counteracted it. The differential of lift was nice, however over-done and not conducive to flying with keyboard and mouse (or even joystick for that matter, due to the dead-zone issue). Primarily what I want to see implemented in ArmA 3 would be, Ground Effect, Settling With Power (If I'm not mistaken was in TKOH, I only played around for a little while.), wind effecting aircraft, working suspension, rolling wheels for helicopters and wheel brakes. This with the same basic flight model of ArmA 2, letting PhysX do it's thing. Along with the time being taken to make the gauges all work like they should. /2cents

The AKM is used by the Takistani locals as well as multiple factions in Chernarus. ;)

Instruments CAN be done right. Take RKSL's Lynx and Puma addons for example, every single instrument works and is accurate. eo1kNmagy10

I am so stoked for your website to come back on line. You have no idea.

Wind effects smoke too.

I like it. America's Army has a similar system where you have to go through Basic and AIT before playing online. Hell, VBS:2 JCOVE has a similar mechanic.

Customizable Soldier Load ( seriously?? )
b00ce replied to sagitarius_2k's topic in ARMA 3 - GENERAL
I don't really hope for that, so much as having the magazine you're using be the one in the weapon. IE using a Beta-C magazine in a G-36k or something. Having it change reload time would be nice too. I imagine putting a 30 round STANAG in an M249 would speed up reload times quite a bit. :p -
How's the website revival comming? :p

I don't know why people think of extremes like Rainbow 6: Vegas or Halo where people can have bright pink camo with crazy armor pads. What's probably going to end up happening is it's selectable at the mission screen OR, what's more likely in my opinion, the classes will have values in the .cfg to determine what parts the model will have. It will probably be modifiable with the init in the editor too. It may end up being done with ammobox items at that. As for the weapon attachments, I'm more than willing to bet my pay check that they're inventory items. -
NICE! Can't wait!

Wishlist for improved aircraft realism: Settling with power Dissymmetry of lift Wind effecting flight Air speed, not ground speed Landing gear that absorbs shock properly Propellers and rotorblades do damage Propellers and rotorblades can fly off or disintegrate Crashes do not cause an explosion unless there is a fuel leak and there is fuel left Turning the engine off gets rid of torque; stops the heli from spinning w/o tail rotor Planes take engine damage Accurate instruments, a little extra effort goes a long way Things I like in the current system: The controls (what the keys do and how they effect thrust, peddles, etc with keyboard/mouse) Auto-rotation is spot on, from what a heli pilot told me Things I do not want to see: A maze of switches; I play a lot of DCS, but I don't play ArmA for that level of simulation. The removal of Auto-hover; however, when the engine is turned off and/or a person gets out it should default to off. An option to dumb things down.
