It was proper flight gear a couple years ago. When OA first came out they were wearing all UCP, no tan, in real life. Now its all Multicam. ;)

ACE has functionality for the KH-29, its pretty nifty, I have to say. ;) VxbYTmDWch8 You can use the spacebar to designate then arrow keys to move the laser as you need. The video I made doesn't say this, because I didn't know at the time. -
You need Combined Operations. You could use ArmA 2: Free as a CO Lite.

Unfortunately, the page 404ed that the Biki entry I posted links to. :( It went in detail on how it worked, and made sense from an engine standpoint. At least that's what I read. -

I thought that too, but I looked into it, dug REALLY deep and found that its loaded alphabetically based on the .pbo files. Basically how it works is: -mod=@CBA;@YUP_Blackhawk;@Nod_Apache;@Desert_tanks "Apache.pbo" is loaded, but requires CBA and the Blackhawk addon for pilot models, so it is skipped. "Blackhawk.pbo", but requires CBA, so it is skipped. "CBA.pbo" "Desert_Tanks.pbo" is loaded ArmA then goes back through the list to pick up any other .pbos that haven't been loaded yet, it could have to do this several times if dependencies are complicated. In this case, it goes through twice. http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Modfolders#Conflicting_addons_.2F_addon_load_order Take this thread for example: http://www.armaholic.com/forums.php?m=posts&q=13798 I've always been told "Load CBA first or it won't work", loading CBA last works just as well as the two guys loading things randomly. Tl,Dr; Don't worry about it, there's nothing you can do to influence anything and it doesn't matter what your load order is. :) Edit: You could try that, the modular sound mods, like JSRS are built with all those .pbos for that specific reason. Don't delete them, put them in a folder called "disabled" (Or what ever you want, really) in the folder with all the .pbos. -

Which ever sound mod is loaded last (Alphabetically, so JSRS) will be the dominant mod. Any sounds not covered by JSRS, will be ACEX_SM. If that makes any sense. -
Would it also be possible to add some sort of FCS? The only issue I have with it is the fact that I have to lag behind the target so bad that I can't see what I'm hitting with any level of zoom. :rolleyes:

Did you turn your designator on? Use the scroll wheel to turn it on, it should auto range and the missiles lock on to the laser automatically. The AGM-114L locks on like the normal BIS ones. The FCS in ACE is very realistic.

Gotcha. :) Hopefully you two can find the time for it. It would be the only thing that would stand a chance against the Typhoon and Tornado. :p

Interesting, so in that case, would it be possible to have the other barrels have different fire modes? The little FLIR pod on the landing gear housing could be the view port and the guns could then be slaved to it. :D Edit: Never-mind, that's exactly what you just said. lol :p

Played with this in a Unit mission tonight. Went very well and the ground-pounders loved it. Sucks that you have to lead the target so much, but at the same time it makes things more challenging/fun. :) Anyone else notice the bottom half of the HUD's pitch ladder is invisible? It makes landing kinda difficult when you're trying to land on runway 15 on Clafghan. :p It also doesn't have the Paralax effect that the "BIS" one has, not too big of a deal though. Would it be possible to make the guns one vehicle? It would be really nice to be able to swap between all of the positions. I don't know if this is possible in the ArmA engine, so I don't expect much. In that vein, it would be equally awesome to have a radar, like the pilot has, in the gun positions to better spot targets. Its next to impossible to see anything that isn't marked with smoke. I've also noticed that it likes to sink and loose speed a lot more than the vanilla C-130. Great work, Loving the detail and work put into it. As I posted earlier, proper flares are jizz inspiring. I didn't know you could have more than two flare launchers. :D

Try using one of the different fire modes, like "lock-on after launch" direct, low and high.
