    The _F is flashlight the one without the _F is laser. They did this to allow people to have lasers and flashlights. _UP is the aiming ladder for the AG36.

  6. Maybe the CH-49 is a production version of this? Seems too light to be a cargo helicopter, though. And then there's the M-900, perhaps MD-900? Both of them look goofy as fuck though. I hope these are not the M-900 and CH-49... :butbut:

  8. The confirmation prompts would get annoying after a while. It's bad enough as it is. :p I like the idea of having the customizable gear in the menu but I think slotting people into specific roles would be a mistake. I think that something outside the game engine, like LEA, would be preferable, but that's probably just me.

    Depends. It's not the overall amount of clutter, just how much you can see at any given moment. View distance plays a big part in this, so does the occlusion of models from view block geometries. Edit: Save for instance, you could have a 100x100 map and a million objects (1 object/meter), but if you only see 100 at any given time because there are things blocking your view like hills, buildings, trees, etc, it won't effect your machine hardly at all.

    It would have everything to do with gameplay and immersion. Imagine being close enough to an explosion to get knocked off your feet but not die, hit by a car, etc. But while you're flying, you're covering your head and trying to protect yourself. It COULD also pave the way for hand to hand/knife/bayonet/baton/sword/etc. fighting because all you'd need are weapons, animations and cutting/blunt damage. The engine would handle the reactions to the blows. Also, what froggy said. lol

    Steamworks, add it in or not?

    The vast majority being "Steam is bad, MMkay." or "I HATE STEAM CAUSE IT SUCKS AND IT IS DRM AND IT LOGS ALL OF YOUR ACTIONS AND KICKS YOUR DOG AND MAKES RUDE GESTURES AT GRAM GRAMS. " I love steam, it's convenient and I don't need to swap discs. Adding Steam Works would be a mistake, though. It would undermine the communities' infrastructure.

  22. In ACE, you need a laser designator, from either another helicopter or someone on the ground, to paint the target. As for the Army pilots and flares, you could write your own config for them to change/add those easy.
  23. I think the flares are coming in the update after this one. Yes. And it's been beat to death. :p Found a bug, the crew chief on the UH-60L has optics. Edit: I have a request, could you please move the fuel pods/hellfires to the pilot's weapon/magazine section of the config?
