    Can't open crate

    Victorsen Station encounter. Picked up crate and exited the map successfully. Off loaded ammo I'd picked up and scrolled along to the crate page. Shows that I gave one common crate but when I hit A(Open), all I get is a hollow sound effect. Please fix and allow me to open the crate.
  2. Fiske Fabrikk encounter. Following the airdrop went to the radio signal Detector near the Easterly road exit. Accessed it and it showed, to my surprise one other player, near the large factory complex just past the NE pier exit. The air drop was above the road tunnel on the West side and fortunately the radioactive cloud was coming in East to West. Great thinks I, sprint along and engage with the only other player showing on the map and if successful, stroll off the map at the westerly road exit unhindered. Started to sprint and at the fist set of buildings that are partly in the water, the green running man man appears. Checked the map and yes, there he was on his unhindered way to the westerly road exit. That other guy can really move thought I. Decided that was that and went for the pier exit where I bumped into the only other guy showing on the map!! He wasn't the guy who got the crate, that guy was invisible the radio detector and exited on the other side of the map. Is it possible to fool the radio detector?? or can it be trusted?

    Can't open crate

    Back at shelter after next encounter and guess what. Crate no longer showing on the crate page. Not good.

    Likewise. Shows the crate in my inventory and on the crate page when back at the shelter, but can't open it.
  5. Preparing server, the graphic for Victorsen Station came onto screen, waiting for players then blank screen and back the Xbox home page. Restart Vigor, no weapons or ammo!!
  6. Strangest thing on the Dverg Forest map. Drop landed, player picked up crate, green running man appeared, didn't move for maybe 10 seconds, then the green running man disappeared off the map! And I don't mean via an exit, the crate landed near the hunters watch tower and before the player made a move to an exit, he was no longer visible. There is probably a rational explanation?

    Invisible crate carrier

    Happened again at Victorsen Station. Player picked up crate started down the tracks to the southern most exit and after lass then one minute the green running man disappeared from the map!! How can this happen.

    Inventory issue

    Still not resolved in the latest hot fix. If you leave a game with a full inventory, you lose the ammo in your weapon.
  9. I praised the latest hot fix yesterday, but major problem today. Just emptied a 72 bullet mag, with what I know where a high percentage of hits. No effect. No blood effect on the target. Nothing. He then took me out. Don't know why this should happen, but please fix. I'm going back to a new encounter to try again and will report on what happens.

    Pleased to report that all was well on the next encounter on the same map. But it does cause a little concern
  11. Just noticed another potential thought for the day. And yes, before anyone says it, I must get out more ... . But it's not a gripe, just an observation! . I currently have 237 fertiliser since my last herb box update, which brought all my herb boxes up to level 8. To get them all up to level nine, I will need to find 8403 more fertiliser. Given on a successful encounter I might find 20 fertiliser, that in effect means that to update them all, I would need to maintain an average of 20 fertiliser in 420 successful encounters. This excludes the 9600 nails I would also need to find. . Just wondered if this was considered reasonable by the players and the Devs.

    Nice job. General movement much improved. Knife attack much improved. Still no cross for me when picking up loot, vault etc, but not a problem. Sprinting ...wow, my guys become Mo Farah. And quite like the 'iron man' landing when you jump from height. Overall really good improvements from my perspective.

    Character Reset at Launch

    Yetibum the points you make are fair, and as always in a debate between reasonable people, reason ensues. Consider the updated economy fixes in 0.8. I get quite a lot of enjoyment from the upgrading of the shelter and the new fixes are going to make that quite a grind, particularly with the shortage (still) of chemicals and other rare items. Yes, I understand that as rare items they should be harder to find... But as an example, if you need 250 chemicals for an update, that is likely to require in the region of 50 or more successful encounters to collect. I feel that's quite a lot considering my current successful encounter rate of maybe 60/70%. Also, your armed to the teeth jibe is off the mark for me. Having tried most of the weapons I still use the Suomi and fallkniven. So for me progress is unrelated to weaponry. The new glint feature being excellent for spotting snipers by the way. I still hold the view that if your too tight to stump up 16 quid then accept the disadvantage (considering the price of some recent game releases, it's peanuts). Also the 1500 crowns will soon be gone with founders funding boosters which the new F2P players can take advantage of (for free yet again if they choose). And yes, I can play day in day out and grind my way back to level 10, as I'm thankfully retired. But not sure I have the enthusiasm. I'm interested in other views, and as always in a democracy (apparently with the exception of Brexit) majority rules, and I'll accept the final verdict of the Devs, however grudgingly. Finally, thanks for posting your views. It's great to get debates started and will make the Devs more aware of players views, ultimately making the game even better.

    Character Reset at Launch

    I am struggling to understand why early adopters who stumped up real money should lose their progress. Players waiting for the F2P release should be prepared to accept a disadvantage. The new economy update is going to make shelter updates much harder to achieve. Not sure I'm keen to start at the beginning again.

    I loved this game. The latest update is rubbish, please reinstate the last version until you've fixed the game. 1. Player movement is so slow and awkward 2. Player lobby - wtf, somehow I've spent 90 crowns on God knows what, unless it costs 45 crowns just to play! 3. Store - not working 4. All updates cost significantly more and I've lost a few plans Honestly, what are you guys thinking!

    Hi pyrit, I really appreciate your feedback. I have made a number of comments, positive and negative, but have received little response, so your reply is most welcome. I really enjoy this game and hope that player feedback is seriously considered when you and the team discuss future improvements.

    Hi Nick, Apparently when the great (and unnecessary) reset arrives, you will get back any crowns spent in the interim. There is a post from the Devs somewhere on this forum regarding my comment above. Have a tour around, but I'm pretty confident I'm right.

    Love This game

    Please pardon my initial annoyance at the new 'features'. I have to agree with this thread starter. Yes you are doing an amazing job. But.... As I've commented to Bethesda on a number of occasions, why fix what isn't broke. Hence Fallout 76 is garbage of the highest order (in my opinion). The last version of this game, 0.7 was great. So why make an 'improvement' to the player movement which appears as though he's suddenly had an arthritis attack in both legs. And yes, I can live with the player lounge at the start of the encounter, and may even learn to love the boosters, but I don't need to know the loadouts of the other players. It is handy to know how many are playing though. What are the 2 transmitters trying to improve. Ok I can see a small advantage in knowing exactly where the drop is landing, but you still have to get off the map and campers can still have a pretty good guess where, in most cases. It's not a problem, it's great fun. And what is the other one for? To see a snapshot of the other players locations?. not tested yet so will withhold final comment. I can live with the economy rebalancing. Just adds to the resource grinding, but what the hey, I'm retired so I have all day every day if the fancy takes me. The different crates are a great improvement. As are the improved contents. But all in all, the player movement is such a large component of the game, and this update has taken that aspect a step back. For me, I can accept most of your improvements, with exception of the player movement and 2 transmitters. I think I would have considered an additional vault, which didn't report that it was being opened, Just to tempt more players towards it, maybe using your new combination mechanics. But all in all, I still love the game and the concept really appeals. Here's an idea, How about a poll on the next set of proposed improvements. Keep the faith.

    I revise item 2. May crowns seem to have been restored, but I'm scared to touch the controller when in the lobby in case I buy something I don't want.

    Also, the comment in the crafting queue is as follows :- No consumables in queue. I am also assuming the crafting time associated with the ADR-97 is extremely long (although the timer displays 0.00), as restarting the games doesn't actually reset the crafting queue, because when I left the game yesterday I had been crafting an ADR for ages, but the queue had cleared this morning.

    When crafting the ADR-97 the item name doesn't appear and the timer is set to 0.00. The only way of unblocking the crafting queue is to exit the game and restart.

    The games great and getting better. Stump up for the pre release version. 2 hours won't give you a good enough experience.
  25. Been thinking about the eventual character reset when the game finally goes F2P. On the initial map, prior to entering the shelter, make the airdrop contain 12 crates for those who bought the preview version. Due to the random nature of the contents, the benefits would not necessarily put new players at a major disadvantage, whilst rewarding those who have supported the game and built up weapons, resources and materials. Just a thought. Would love to hear any other ideas.
