I have done all the things that you guys say can work but it does't work. The thing that does work is to taget it but than lock on with a missile doesn't work. I also read about alt tab but if i do that thare will come a littel thing i my screen with the picures of things that are working in my pc like google arma and teamspeak and under it it says can't lock on to enemy tagets with attack helicopter...... that is how far the text goes. I am trying to use it for sigleplayer missions and i am trying to use it on NAK squad servers but both don't work. EDIT: lolz 2 min after i wrote this post i got it to work. What you simply have to do is get some hight and wait a few sec and you don't want to be colse to the target (200-700meters works for me).
