    All I know is that GRAD fortifications, once you make a placement you can still move the objects placed UNTIL a server restart, once the server restarts and statics have been placed it then only allows players to “Demolish fortification”. through testing me and @RZNUNKWN have noticed that after walls, or barbwire has been placed, and the server restarts, then zombies will walk up to the wall and stand behind it just kind of lurking, they’ll watch you rather than walk through. So I’m fairly sure it updates the navmesh once placed and a restart happens. With R3F logistics this was never a thing, and alwayssss an issue, but I truly think it also has something to do with keeping that “move object” option available… GRAD locks objects into place upon placement and server restart, before a restart you’re free to “pack up the fortification” and move it, but once server restarts the object is locked in place. The objects also act more so like map objects too it’s weird, but I reallllly love this system, I can send you links to their GitHub if you want to look into their code.     After a very troubling month of not being able to update my scenario's I've finally got the issue sorted on the Steam workshop. Many, Many thanks to @Gunter Severloh for not only taking time out of his day (in this case multiple days) but also assisting me with a what seemed impossible fix. Turned out that the DayZ OST tracks somehow became corrupted and that basically rendered the Steam Workshop updater useless. Nonetheless we're BACK! From the month I've been "out of commission" I've actually been doing a great bit of updates towards Not Alone & The Burning Rain newer features are: ~ Ace Implementation -No Medical- ~ Removal of Drongo's Spooks and Anomalies replaced with Remnant mod by our good @haleks ~ Completely refreshed / overhauled base building system that utilizes ACE menu to do so (also has Navmesh remapping upon server restart and loading of assets **Zombie proofed**) ~~Grad fortifications~~ ~ Completely reworked currency system, also utilizes ACE menu, can take money from dead players, rob players via ACE handcuffs, deposit money in a bank account, and even quickly transfer to other players / friends ~~Grad money~~ ~ Reworked HUD ~ Tons of custom "survival scripts" addactions (get water from well, craft FAK, split MRE box, etc...) ~ New Base items trader / with UI ~~Grad buy menu~~ And a lotttt more that I really cannot think of right now...     Alright so who else is having issues with Steam workshop uploader? I am behind 4 - 5 patches now on Not Alone + TBR sadly because of this mess and I absolutely cannot find the culprit of this issue. I've reinstalled steam, restarted my router, opted into a steam beta, reinstalled Arma 3 (Twice) and I even popped into the steam console and attempted testing the cloud sync to Arma 3's App ID folder.... What the hell is all I can say... Anyone have any ideas? Other things I can try? I get the generic "Steam process failed." error, and I should note this has been going on for 3 weeks or so... I've been waiting and hoping it'd resolve itself but sadly no dice... I'd like to get this fixed so I can hop back into streaming and making a good bit more YT videos, but I've been stuck patching small bugs on my end and then wasting hours at a time trying to fix this damn issue... Also @Unknown.png you'll have to make the items for inventory another route I believe, and you'll need to class the .paa files as well with the objects, give them inventory weight, etc... etc... It's a long process I'm fairly sure (never done it, could be wrong)

    Thanks man, yeah Reason loves that thing 🤣🤣 I tried to get some good combat shots (Reason providing CAS) during the raid while also trying to not get my head taken off, surprisingly I lived through it 😂😂 Those AI will gun you down no questions asked especially the Ravage bandits, each time we’re rolling on foot or humvee or something we barely make it back to base because they’re so damn aggressive, but hey, we made it! 🤘

    For the ravage module to add custom music you have to make your own pbo iirc to get it to register the music. You can always class your tracks via cfgmusic in the description.ext and then play them through the init.sqf with BI’s select random feature too. If you need further help I can send you the init code needed to get it all squared away. 🍻

    You probably need to setup variable names for you composition due to how GRAD works Yes this is easily change-able in HS settings in a file. ‘Heros World’ That’s your body temperature, and 34c is not hot for body temperature that’s 93.2f which is hypothermic. I don’t mind you changing anything within the mission files as long as you keep all this private and no re-releases come from this. I just meant to try it rather than edit it but it, is what it is I guess lol If you need any additional help PM me in my Discord so we don’t blow up Halek’s thread with scenario talk Thanks!

    Anywhere on the map via marker and variable name “respawnwest_1” or whatever side you’re using. Yes you can easily randomize it with BI select random function VA mod isn’t bad but it has a good bit of bugs, I went back to the script pack. Also IniDB do not use it… That 8mb file size just isn’t Enough at ALL to enjoy time with your buddies, use GRAD. Before I did a server wipe we had 5 - 6 months of saved goods still where we last left them, that is nowhere NEAR what you get with inidb… Also the mission was still stable that long after server had been running… And if you want a mission that is already setup you can host mine or @Slay No More mission files, ours are already setup for GRAD saving and they’re stacked to the brim with features. Dada in my Discord server even has an escape from Ruha mission with GRAD as well, options are out there you just gotta look. Or you and your buddies join a server with all this stuff setup entirely up to you, we have multiple options in our discord. What you’re wanting is easy to obtain though if you go about editing it all yourself, it’ll just take a bit of time.

    With a ton of help from @Slay No More I got crafting and Fishing working! Fishing has been implemented into the server as of last patch, crafting is still a WIP Short video clip of the new crafting feature coming soon: Currently (the video only shows) crafting of Ghillie top / Full ghillie / And SVD camo wrap (hopefully soon there will be a HUGEEEE List of goodies 😉 ) (possible thermal crafting? 👀 ) I am already testing the IED crafting portion, I am also going to be changing the color types (possibly may not) of each craft-able item for example a Large IED will be "RED" and a full ghillie will probably be a dark blue or so and half ghillie + SVD camo wrap will remain white, darker color up to red will be a "Difficulty" meter for crafting. This is really good news for Heros Survive because not only does this open up crafting for players, but it also opens up EVERY SINGLE object for HS to be utilized, I am making it so that players will need a multimeter (with a battery installed) to even attempt at crafting a bomb of sorts because I am adding quite a lot of electronics in the picture so you will need to collect all you can get! This also means a TON more ravage loot for bandito's roaming across the wasteland, rare loot will most likely be multitools and laptops, etc... So once you kill a bandit with any "rare" items it'll open up a plethora of other craft-able goodies. (they of course will also be purchase-able) Stay tuned!     Mine and @RZNUNKWN new base location 🙂 with a working genny! Soon I'm going to be reworking the base-building from finding stuff across the map, to the R3F creation factory via a trader, just gotta get GRAD tuned in a bit more but so far, so good! I even stumbled across one of GF's old threads for a vehicle locking script, so now Heros Car keys are being put to good use! Now you gotta find / buy a key if you want to own / have access to vehicles (not vehicle specific) but it even locks the vehicles inventory so no pick pockets!!

I’m going to hit that on the way home… 👀” 😆 Speaking of Storms when we all going to play Ravage together and storm a raid together? Also, Johnny you should help me with setting up one of your giants (Ice giant / Sasquatch ) up in the black mountains of Chernarus Redux, I could use a mountainous beast lurking up in the mountains, I’ll keep good loot up there still too. “Damn look at all this lootie! Wait… What was that thumping…?” ~ Queue JurassicPark water glass… I’m sure @RZNUNKWN would love another type of anomaly or creature lurking the wilds… 👀👀 🤘

    Dude those flash floods are no joke, a lot of people die each year from that stuff, a lot of people hit some of the trails out here when it’s raining and then their 4x4 ends up getting swept away in 3 feet of water 😬😬 I’m in AZ yeah, not Phoenix but very close. And yeah true AZcoder does live here 🤣🤣 The trails are fun though, especially when it snows up in 4peaks in the winter time. ❄️

    I couldn't agree more with this. This is why with recent talking to @Slay No More I just got done pushing another patch to TBR ~ basically if you use more than the recommended amount of mods you will get a mission failed banner now, it is a bit of a crude move on my end but to be frank, the MOST complaints I receive are from people who are using like 40 different mods, SSPCM, some sort of debugger, RHS, You get my drift, the list goes on and on. So I guess that's that then, if you don't want to play the scenario the way it was initially designed to be played then go explore the workshop. My scenario isn't the only one on the workshop and these negative or snide commenting people need to realize that. Hell, I know of plenty of authors who enjoy the high loot stuff, or like more of that retro style game play @ArteyFlow and me have even bickered on loot, he likes the high loot stuff and ground loot, I do not, we've sorted our differences and moved past that though which I think everyone should once they speak about it. it all boils down to personal preference and if someone gets that mad about it they can always give a go at scenario building, this is EXACTLY the reason why our dear @haleks made this glorious mod a framework after all. 🤘 End of rant, time to go unload on some pesky bandits. 😉

    In the end we talked it out, I’m sure he realized his first two initial comments were a bit “bashing” cause I’m not sure about you, but when I initially comment on someone’s work they’re usually good polite comments. And then possibly later what they can improve on. I’m not right out of the box “hey, your shit sucks. You should probably change it to the way I want it or I’m not going to play it.” Then again this is the Internet where all sorts of nasty comments can be made. But I’m also not going to sit there and take flak on a project that I’ve been working on for 3 years lol 😂 In the end the most recent patch I re-added searchable loot so there IS more loot now but it’s still very low. But now you can find things on the ground or even through searching. Every time a loot population argument comes around I still to this day remember in the old DaiZy threads (2018) with @haleks there was some guy arguing about bloodbags not spawning basically telling Haleks that they need to be a thing 😂 So I guess it’s everywhere, but oh well. In the end we worked it out and he said he appreciated the work put in, so it’s all good. It is a bit frustrating though, when people come out right off the rip shooting at you. And no, I shouldn’t of posted that here, but at the time I was severely frustrated with a bug going on, and that pretty much did me in. I was already mad enough about my dedicated server being all wonky We’re good now.
