    All-In-One AI Command Menu

    The AI don't respond to any of the commands in the menu. Garrison buildings, 360 defense, I even shot one in the leg at told them to heal. Nothing. They just stand there. Not even a radio acknowledgement. I'm using VCOM AI and ACE3, could that effect it?

    Any plans to add in the T-62 and T-55 tanks? I know CUP has a T-55, but its just... meh. Also modified Syrian T-72s with all the extra slat armor and TURMs thermal sight?

    POOK SAM PACK v6.0 (Oct 2018)

    This mod seems to have ruined my entire games ability to save/load anything. From custom scenarios in the editor to saved campaign missions. Even custom things I've made in editor that don't use any POOK units, it won't let me open them once I've installed the mod or uninstalled it. I'm very unhappy with this mod as it is, the radar units don't do anything, the AI doesn't even use the stuff, I've seen AI controlled SA-2s aiming at tanks on the ground and ignoring enemy aircraft. And to top it all off, like I said before, it's ruined all of my saves. Even removing the mod doesn't fix the saved games. I'm pretty much forced to keep the mod so I can play on my custom scenarios, and yet it still won't let me open save games, saying something like "error: Pook SAMS_uns has been removed" (even though it hasn't been. 0/10 mod ruined my game pretty much.
  7. So I've been experimenting in the editor, trying to make "standoff" armor for APCs, make big ridiculous armored gun trucks, things like that. Basically the kind of makeshift DIY stuff we see in Iraq and Syria. Naturally, I'm using the attachTo and setVectorDirAndUp commands in each objects init field for this. This is an EXTREMELY time consuming and tedious process, as I have to fiddle around with the X,Y,Z coordinates of every piece and then hit "play scenario" just to test the placement of each piece and then end it, make guestimates, rinse, wash, repeat. Is there an easier way to do this? Like maybe some mod or addon or something that lets me just sync the object to the vehicle and then move it around with the mouse? Or maybe see my X/Y/Z coordinate adjustments in real-time in the editor, as opposed to having to start the scenario each time to see the placement? I've got some really cool ideas, but my god is this a pain in the ass lol. Here's some stuff I'm messing around with/WIP:
  8. Bumping this because I'm not getting good results. I tried that, however that made the objects collide with the vehicle and it exploded. I'm really hoping for a way to attach objects to vehicles on the editor without having to start the scenario everytime to see the results. I don't know anything about a debug consol or how it works.
  9. For the life of me I can't figure out how to add more 12.7x108mm boxes to the commanders NSV on an RHS T-72... I've tried: tank1 addMagazineTurret ["rhs_mag_127x108mm_50",[0,10]]; thinking that would add 10 extra 50 round boxes, but no luck. Any ideas?

    Interesting. Actually, very confusing. It doesn't require the magazine classname at all? I thought for sure "rhs_mag_127x108mm_50" would need to be used somewhere. What does "_veh = vehicle player" mean? The tank is called "tank1" in the scenario. Will this work with an AI tank?

This obnoxious, annoying and unnecessary semi-transparent black error box pops up during my game, usually its nothing and goes away after a while, but in this particular instance it stayed for the entire game, over an hour. I'm not sure what the deal is here, seems to indicate something is wrong with VCOM AI, but seeing as how I'm not the creator of that mod and I can't script, I can't do anything about it. How do I disable these error messages from popping up? I'm just playing around in the editor, it's ridiculous.

  13. Howdy, I'm trying to set up a scenario in which ISIS fighters hunt down a Syrian pilot after he is shot down. The scenario is completely random and dynamic, meaning the pilot might not even get shot down, or he could be killed by the plane exploding, or if he is shot down, he could land anywhere. Basically it isn't set in stone, but if it DOES happen, I'd like a team of terrorists in a truck to travel towards the parachuting pilot and attempt to kill him, no matter where he ends up on the map. Could someone explain how to do this? Also, there are TWO pilots in two seperate MiG-29s, one is an AI and the other is a player, and I'd like the enemy AI to be able to hunt down both of them in the event they parachute to the ground. Also.... could the same apply to a rescue chopper? IE: pilot shot down, triggers a helicopter to attempt to rescue him. Thanks in advance!

  15. I would like this as well. I'd also like to see surrendering implemented automatically if a unit is the last man standing or if the group has sustained heavy casualties or is black on ammo.
  16. I'm attempting to use the ImageToPAA to convert a .jpg into a .paa so I can use it as an intro picture in a mission. It just says failed to process and failed to convert. I have no idea why something so simple isn't working... Any ideas?

    That sounds very interesting. Exactly what I'm looking for. I just have no idea how to initiate scripts. I've never ever used scripting in this game before. I wish there was an example template mission I could look at or copy and paste. As for what George Floros recommended: that won't work for me because I don't want to spawn AI. I want the hunting terrorists to consist of the same group of guys already in the game, they have custom loadouts and weapons. It's a 6 man team, armed with AKs, PKM, RPGs, SVDs, and Iglas and 2 armed technicals.
  18. I don't even know how to make missions or objectives or scripts or anything. I've been playing ARMA 2 & 3 for about 6 years now and I'll I've ever done is play around in the editor. I set up a little battle, put units down, give waypoints, and push "play scenario" lol. I've never even played the storyline of ARMA or multiplayer for that matter. I just play by myself with AI in the edior. The new 3D eden editor has made it so much better too. I wouldn't mind some singleplayer missions that use the RHS and Iraqi/Syrian conflict mods!
