  1. Calm Like a Bomb

Rear surround coming out of center channel

I found this in a thread on a Tom's Guide from April 2016... The problem affects sound that is encoded in real-time for things such as games, so DDL (Dolby Digital Live) or DTS Live. The effect is not seen on pre-encoded surround tracks such as would be found on a DVD, Blu Ray, or even the Supported Formats test in Windows sound devices properties panel, so performing those tests is not a guarantee that the system is working entirely as intended. In games that support surround sound through live encoding, speakers are missing, mapped incorrectly, or you get simple stereo. I have an OptiPlex 980 (I picked up cheap because my 7yo PC died) with an EVGA 970. on my older PC I always used the 3.5mm jacks for my 5.1 and Realtek to manage it all and it always worked great, but now my only output is from a HDMI that goes to the splitter to give me 'HDMI + Audio' (fiber optic)
  2. Maybe someone here can help me or point me in the right direction. When I download a file from the internet to test my surround sound, all is good, but when I try to use them on youtube, the sound from the rear speakers comes out of the center channel. This is also the case in Arma as well, because when I'm playing and there's a succession of bombs going off and I look in all directions, the center, left, right and sub all work great, but when it should be coming from behind me, it's coming from the center and it sounds hollow as if the polarity was reversed on 1 speaker....but obviously there's only 1 center speaker. As I said earlier, when I play a sound file through the VLC player all of the sounds come out how they are supposed to, just not when the sounds are coming from YouTube, but it does seem to be working fine with Netflix. That's why it's baffling to me! It works fine in one manner but not another. I'll add that I have a HDMI splitter to give me fiber optic to my stereo because it's an older receiver. it's an "aLLreLi" converter. I'm on windows 10 running 64-bit Arma on my 64-bit older quad core i7

Arma 3: Community wishes & ideas- NO DISCUSSION

I like how its changed to where we can pick up a gun and ammo all at once, but why didn't they change that for anytime you go to pick up stuff where there's more than 1 item? that way it's faster and easier, but if you don't wanna grab everything you can also look at what's there like we do now. it's gotta be an easy change to make

It would be great if we can change the color of distance to the waypoint. or maybe have a default color of red because that thing is hard to find sometimes because of background colors
