    Tanks DLC Feedback

    Not to mention that by 2035 a sherman or T34 is just that much older. There isn't many of them rolling around today and the ones that are, are in museums. Good luck finding a working sherman on a tiny island like Tanoa. Also parts for it would be really hard to find, they are hard to find today, even more so then, and good luck to a guerrilla force trying to maintain and repair said tank, without the ability to pick through the internet for very expensive and old parts and have them shipped to their front door like a museum.

    Telling AI to rearm?

    How do you tell AI infantry to re-arm in Zeus? Is it at all possible? I use the achilles mod on my server and does that have anything to tell AI to re-arm? Because I'm playing Zeus V Zeus in an RTS style with a friend and once my infantry squads are alive long enough they start to run out of ammo and I'd like to try and pull them back to my main HQ to resupply them from an ammo truck. Could it be done with scripting? I posted this in the questions and answers section, waited a few hours and got no answers. I figured this was a more appropriate place to put this.

  4. It would be awesome if we could get a simple terrain editor since the current way is cumbersome and complicated. People would be able to pick from different starting terrains like a flat landlocked map and an ocean map, which can be scaled from 1x1km up to 30x30km. From there you could use several tools to build up and break down terrain. Water levels could be changed so you could make rivers and lakes on an otherwise landlocked map. Assets like custom buildings could be downloaded from the steam workshop and placed down. Things like terrain texture, and color could be changed as well as the biome the terrain is in allowing for a variety of different types of terrain. Textures could also be make by other people and put on the steam workshop to be used for terrain. Roads could be drawn out by a sort of pencil tool and the textures be procedurally generated based on what kind of road you picked. This would allows hundreds of maps to be made. From open vast deserts to dense urban cities. From Hunger games style arenas to large sprawling wastelands. it would also extend the life of the game even more. Making room for more development to be done on Arma 4 (nudge nudge). P.S. Second time I'm typing this since my mouse fell off my desk hitting one of the side buttons which caused the page to reverse...... P.P.S. Despite my forum account being relatively new I'm no stranger to Arma. Just passed 1k hours the other day.
  5. Hello. This is my first time running a server and It aims to provide a somewhat realistic yet fun experience. This is a trailer for the server I made a few days ago. I have improved and changed a few things over the past few days I would like to see some of you guys there I will be online waiting. I will be online mostly from 3 PM to 8 PM EST although you can hop on and play around any time. The officer slot has Zeus.     A Question About AI (In Vehicles) Following Roads

    The AI got improved vastly in the last patch but it still isn't top notch. The AI will take roads as much as possible and take the shortest/fastest route to your waypoint. For example. If you place a waypoint from Kavala to Pygros the AI will follow roads all the way there. But sometimes once the AI gets somewhat close it will go off road for some reason thinking its fast meanwhile its just putting the vehicle at risk and not going exactly where you want it to go. So if you were to place a single waypoint from the airfield to the old outpost the AI should follow roads almost all the way there

  11. Help with my Arma 3 TADST Server So just today I set up a dedicated server for the first time on my machine. But when running the server is shows me as playing Arma 3. I have played around on the server with friends and such but would not like to rack up thousands of hours by leaving my server on and also make my friends think im constantly playing Arma 3. Any way I could have it not do this? Would possibly making another steam account and just using those credentials work? Even If it doesn't have Arma 3? Odd fog I have opened up my own dedicated MP server and there is this odd fog that limits my view distance making it nearly impossible to land on my LHD when flying a harrier. My in game view distance is maxed out on both objects and surface. But the ingame view distance is still abysmal. The server view distance is set to 3500 meters but no matter the setting I set on it, no difference is made. I tried setting the weather as clear as could be and made no difference except wave height How to make your own mod pack? ^ Wondering how I can put several mods like CUP mods together into a single pack for people to download for my server like many realism units do Copy pasted from the steam forums so excuse the weird lettering. Wasn't getting any answers on my threads so I compiled them into one and posted them here. Copy paste seems to highlight everything

    Some things are disabled when using Zeus. Have the same issue. Don't know why bohemia would do that though
