I would definitely guess that it is VTN causing it. That mod is generally very unfriendly with other mods, I think its devs don't really want people to use that mod along with other mods.

Indeed. VTN is a great mod but we have to choose if we use VTN and nothing or anything but no VTN. Well, you know the deal... :P

Hmm... Interesting. I'm not having that problem at all. Make sure that you switch weapons to have the main cannon selected as your current primary weapon. The action menu wont display the rounds if you have the coaxial PKT as your current primary weapon.

This is normal. Just press the reload key (R) and it will trigger the autoloading mechanism.

Mmmmm no, nothing is loading when i push the R.  I can shoot the first round, then nothing can be loaded.

Yes. The autoloader in the T-72B actually operates in semi-autoload mode only, meaning that it waits for gunner input before it loads the next round. This is important because, as in real life, once you load a round into the gun, it cannot be unloaded. This way it gives the gunner the opportunity to select the next round before it goes into the chamber, thereby potentially saving a round that would otherwise have to be expended if the gunner had to switch ammo types in order to engage a different type of target.

In order to load the first round in game, select the round you want to load with the scroll wheel action menu, and then press whatever keybinding you have reload set to (probably R) to trigger the autoloader. For all subsequent rounds, you'll still have to press the reload key each time you fire and want to load the next round. Once you run out of a type of round, you'll have to use the scroll wheel to select the next type of round you want again, and hit the reload key, just as with the loading the initial round. Hope that helps!

    Thank you ballistic !

Now i understand the loading method.

But there is a problem : there are NO round texts in the scroll down menu when im in the 72B ! There are the rounds when its ONLY the T-80 but not when the 72B, or other T-80 models like 80B or U, UM , UK, etc...

And another question - as i try to load the T-80 first round (the APFSDS), the loading starts then stops half way. Then i try to load the 3BK17, same happens.

  4. Hi guys,

Is that a normal thing that when i get in the T-72B as the gunner there is no round loaded in the main gun ?

Than how to load it ? I readed all the docus and Wiki pages of RHS but i cant find out how to load THE FIRST ROUND in the 2A46. Yes i know, R, Z, Y, X buttons but i cant make it work.

     Thank you.

  5. Hi guys !

I just reinstalled ArmA 3 Steam edition after a six months. I have the Global Mobilization DLC too.

All is working fine for me except the tanks ! My trouble is that i cannot load their weapons. T-55s and T-72s are suffering about this too. Not the main gun neither the DSHK hmg ! If i am the commander of the tank i can command the crew to load the next ammo to load it. But if i am the gunner (or the loader in the 55) there is no "Load HEAT" "Load APFSDS"  etc. in the action menu.

Any idea what happened ? Well i unloaded several mods after the reinstallment, but i dont know what caused this... Im playing ArmA series since the beginning (Operation : Flashpoint too) but i never encountered this problem...

     Thanx !

Some of the Cold War vehicles that have been mentioned (and some that haven't, such as the BRDM-2 ATGM variant) that probably won't be included as part of the mod when it's initially released, are already available in CUP, which will be a dependency of the mod. I don't know if some of them will need new skins to match what will come with C '85 but they will already be available for those that might want to build mission or campaigns. I'm not aware of a complete vehicles/units/features list for C '85 but if we can go by what was available in OFP, then the lists are readily available.

There is complete list of OFP vehicles at this link:

     https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Operation_Flashpoint:_List_of_vehicles

While not everything in CUP is suitable for Cold War scenarios, a lot of it is. A list of vehicles can be found at this link:

    http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=29716

    Well.

The basic "BRDM" model in OFP was actually a hungarian D-442 aka the FUG.

     D-442 FUG on Wikipedia

  7. CUP has advantages

    1. It runs better

    2. It has some weapons/vehicles that RHS doesnt have and will probably never have

    3. This is my own personal view but many of its sounds are MUCH better (the RPG and the SAM launchers notably)

    4. It has fewer scripts and runs better with ACE

Well, i agree. And besides, i would give my half life to someone who finally makes a mod that shows us accurate work on the T-55 tank. You know the deal : optical sights, sounds, 4 men crew, DShK heavy mg on the turret, etc.

  8. Hi there !

I am in trouble with my ArmA3 Steam edition. I got error messages showing like :

"Key not found for signature J:\Arma3\@UNSUNG_3.0_Charlie\addons\brg_africa.pbo.UNSUNGcharlie.bisign Test  FAILED !"

As i switched off my mods  in one after another, i figured out that i get these messages for ALL my bisign files.

Any idea what to do guys ?
