Enough of this stupid ass argument s'obviously airsoft, let's get back to bustin fat nuts over that AVS. Sick of seeing this thread pop up and getting my hopes up for an AVS and it just being some dinguses arguing over dumb shit.

    Help remodelling

Im new to modelling but I have a fair amount of experience with retexturing and arma tools. So what I need help with is I want to have a vanilla t-shirt model on the current project zenith pants. I have no idea how difficult that might be but if anyone would like to point me in the right direction or explain the process to me that would be much appreciated

So for these sexy new helmets can we expect to see the newer helstar strobe being used? Or more of the mantis and MS2000 strobes? Obviously helmet mounted strobes have become the norm for pretty much all SOF units out there so just curious what we can expect to see when it comes to that. Amazing work by Sahio again, not sure who he has working in his sweatshop to pump these out so fast but great job to him.

Good god you guys need to chill, by the time this mod is rereleased the back of my throat is gonna be blown out Seriously though great work on this stuff keep it up and this is easily gonna be a go to mod for most people. One small gripe/area to possibly improve with the helmets to me would be the microphone on the peltors. It looks quite small and it sticks out away from mouth a bit too much I find. Nothing major or game breaking by any means but just an observation. Keep up the amazing work you guys!

So quick question on the AVS. Are you guys planning on modelling the AVS detachable M4 triple mag pouch thing? Just noticed it wasn't modeled in those initial pictures so I was just curious. Here it is for reference if needed from Crye's website: http://cryeprecision.com/ProductDetail/AVSDF202000_Avs™-Detachable-Flap,-M4

Yeah they are not issued that was definitely a private purchase and out of the norm.

Could have been a 6094 or some other private purchase such as a first spear or a mayflower APC or an mmac.
  15. So I have seen pictures floating around in the armaverse of some mods version of the Crye combat pants coupled with a civilian T-shirt. First question is does anyone know what mod this is? If so can I haz plz xoxo Second question is how would one go about making this? I was thinking of using the Zenith pants since they are a seperate .paa from the shirt and then using one of the civilian T-shirts and making it its own .paa and retextuing that but I have zero experience with modelling if any of that would have to be done at all. Would I have to create a new model combining the two preexisting models?

@devilsofthedarkness is probably one of the best in terms of reference material. Another good source would be to scour the DoD photographs for the 75th. From what I've seen though Crye Precision G3 uniforms, CPC's and AVS's and OPSCORE has become the norm for pretty much all of USASOC.

I'm not gay but I'd suck some mad dick for an AVS with different configurations on it.

Very nice. Ground textures need to be improved, currently they kinda look like playdoh.
  19. Garbage is a bit strong of a word to use you're right. To be a bit more constructive and less blunt, I can certainly see the direction you guys wanted to go with the NVG's and I like the direction it was going however its a bit much. Unless you were trying to make all of the NVG's look like PVS-7's by default or something. Another criticism I have is that this has supposedly been in the feedback phase for over a year but these aren't compatible with the RHS NVG's, like you guys tested it for that long but didn't test or add compatibility with the mods it was originally compatible with when it was donated to you? The video I saw a year ago showed these having compatibility with several different mods such as CUP, RHS and a GPNVG mod. What happened to that compatibility? I think the direction you are going is the right way with the NVG's but I think the implementation was shaky at best for the aforementioned reasons.
  20. Why not just make it work or look like that by default instead of unrealistic garbage tho?
  21. Agreed, I think the noise and stuff looked pretty accurate in his video. But the current default settings just makes the RHS PVS-15's look like you trying to shoot charlies through your vietnam era starlight scope. From my understanding the PVS-15's and 31's are pretty clear, still some noise that gets worse with bad weather/low light and what not but far clearer than what is currently depicted. Here is a reference video
  22. So I have a question with this new NVG effect. What was the thought process on making it limit your view distance to like 1km? Very annoying feature honestly and the noise effect is a little...strong to say the least. Like even on a bright full moon night and no cloud cover with a shit ton of ambient light you can't see anything. What's up with that? I know for a fact that's not how NVG's look in real life on nice bright night.
