Im not him but il tell you what might happen :) It probably wont happen since high quality cars usually take alot of effort and this map alone will suck most of their time sadly. Maybe soon some talented guy (I really hope that happens and it wont turn out its stolen. Max Joiner does some pretty outstanding work with his "Max Life Pack" So you probably want to pair it with this one :D Bear in mind the interior is pretty low quality but i understand why. Cheers!

I definitely agree, While voice acting is extremely hard to deliver (At the very least, Low quality. Higher quality = Payment and some people like me cant afford it) plain dramatic cliche military lines are pretty immersion breaking just like what you said. I always go with subtitles + setRandomLip true since those two combined together might actually be better than without a proper dialogue. When i also design the chatter/subtitles i always make sure it looks realistic and avoid not needed chatter. Although humor at the perfect time is good too. Since my campaign has literally nothing to do with NATO/AAF/CSAT it instead focuses onto criminals. That way i can add some seriousness and definitely humor while the player drives around. Since its IMO realistic cause when your driving around sometimes your passenger wont be silent. Humor is kept to a bare minimum though. Take an example for Resists voice actors, Completely professional but they are paid thus they usually produce high quality voices (Pretty rare to find a fellow lad who wants to give out high quality voice acting for free! Im probably wrong with this one too) possibly the majority cant afford that (Im probably wrong) Humor at the beginning when there is absolutely no reason to remain serious. Full on serious at the right moment, Helicopter speaker sounds realistic, Greeks and Iranians sound... Well Greeks and iranians. And an example of a great campaign without voice acting is indeedPetes M.E.R.C.S i mean, The literal new dialogue option, RPG styled dialogue. Speakers face shown real-time. Lip movement. Humor added in cause well... They are mercenaries. I loved the design of the dialogues which makes it unique instead of radioChat which looks weird. Although the new splendid dialogue from BIS sure is fancy! I havent really played any other games other than Arma 2 (I love the russian voices, IDK why they are just so cool and sometimes pretty serious.) but when i watched the ending of OFP. I immediately noticed how weird the guy who said "I got almighty on the line" as they never really had that type of accent in further Arma games, Probably why Arma 3 voice acting is by far my favourite in the east wind! The chaos from all callsigns is pretty immersive. (Charlie sounds like some guy who is literally unkillable. But... :()

Hello there HoverGuy! I must say i love your shop systems! Perfect timing as i was planning on what to do for my open world mission and found this on armaholic :D I got a question though, Since im making a campaign and its impossible to be a one-mission type for me since it uses too many units that everything will just explode (Or break) is it possible for these vehicles to be persistent? Lets just say the player buys the car, It gets saved and the player can get it again for free (But with 10 minute delay if possible?) and or lets just say the player buys it and drives to one location that triggers another mission. Once the next mission load the car is still there. Is it possible? Im sorry for the confusing comment. Couldnt explain it properly :) Im thinking "SaveVar" Could work but i dont really know much to be honest about persistency. Thank you so much for your shop system scripts! That's actually true, We are lacking any good SP missions or Campaigns but literally the majority is CO-OP or some require mods (which I'm totally fine with if it isn't unnecessary like CUP mods for Arma 2 missions) Indeed there is not a lot of vanilla content but I know someone is out there making something good :D sometimes the missions just don't have anything proper, No dialogue, No briefing and heck no explanation! Pretty much the newest best campaign IMO in the steam workshop is the CWC campaign for arma 3. Even though I haven't played CWC it looks really good! It's really annoying to not have any proper good Singleplayer content but we all have to know that even making a scenario is a challenge so I have my biggest respect for anyone who undertake this task!

Hello, So before i installed apex i get solid 60 - 50 fps in Altis however i recently downloaded tanoa and my fps dropped drasticly from 60 onto 20 fps without any AI in altis, With AI its literally unplayable. I have tried restarting Arma 3, Disabling mods, Restarted computer with absolutely no avail... Here are my specs https://gyazo.com/d3872f18f16da161a3815d7f9b0f242d I really do not know whats the problem after installing apex and its becoming unplayable to the point that i really cannot continue playing in altis and completing my campaign... Needless to say my computer died when i opened Tanoa but at least i supported BI. Kind of unfortunate how my fps dropped really bad and i couldnt do anything except go on Virtual Reality... Arma 3 campaign is pretty unplayable and user-made missions are unplayable as im having 18 fps with just a couple of AI around. 20 fps without any AI... Thank you all! At least i got that new off-road anyway...

Splendid job mate! This is gonna be a real fun to play around! (I swore i saw an Orca... Now if you can place animals like a object i would for sure put it onto the orca heli :P) The first thing im going to do after watching the attack animation is just to put setRandomLip true... I dont know why but i have to try it! Keep up the phenomenal work! :D

Ah taking screenshots and advertising, Well you have done a fantastic job with it! :D About the megalodon it may work but I don't know the difficulty, Recently I was making a gold bar so that my bank won't have money piles everywhere (Some shameless spoiler and advertisement here dammit!) I massively increased the size in blender, popped it into object builder and then it became gigantic apparently, The textures for the mouth might have to be refined since the megalodon has a gigantic mouth rather than it's shark counterparts. But I'm just a beginner in blender, Haven't done much other than experimenting with wonky shapes and ridicules pyramids. But I guess I'm going off topic now :)

The possibilities with this mod is endless! :D Once the shark is finished... Only I can hope for tigers, Cats (Il probably make the cats invincible if it ever existed and If I used it in my mission :P) Lions, Camels, And elephants! But it's too early :) If someone tries to make a megalodon il probably thing the shark would be scaled larger but I'm probably wrong but yet again it's too early! I can see this being a very popular mod for immersion guys and of course horror fans! (And a whole lot more people) Can't wait honestly! Kudos to the developer and you! (Maybe I'm wrong but I think you assisted in this?)

Oh this is marvelous! Can't believe I haven't saw this thread already! This + a megalodon Addon = me not seeing the light for about 15 light years! (I would imagine this mod + zombies and demons in which the player escapes in a boat through the sunset feeling happy that no more zombies will eat him only for a shark or megalodon to pop up and eat him and dive away!) Closely will follow the upcoming WIP thread :D

Hello! I'm actually 12 :D It's a weird age for someone to discuss politics (I'm very interested in politics and wars despite me occasionally screwing up with my arguments) And have wished to be at least tested with WW2 Exams for quite a long time and instead I get greeted by how people lived in the 1918s :P I rarely comment on politics on other threads but at this thread I some how lost self control and smashed the keyboard and ended up making quite a lot of mistakes. Hello Haha yeah that's my age :D It's definitely hard to gauge someone's age especially if they are in an 18+ game (I couldn't turn down the offer, I love this game so much!) Don't regret the stuff you said man, I hear them every day at school (FYI my class swore at grade one and swears right now at least 20+ times a day) so I'm used to them and I'm not really offended at those stuff since this is just a couple of words no biggie! I'm also really sensitive so pardon me if I came off quite weird. I wasn't really biased on my side since my parents is Muslim (Dad) and Christian (Mom) I have a big interest in wars and history (Especially WW2) and the current situation in the Middle East saddens me but it's also interesting for me to research (my KSS teacher doesn't give a damn about the conflict and speaks about historical stuff, I just want WW2 education!) School is closing in which means I will definitely encounter all these stuff Immigration crisis, The crusade war thing, WW2-1 which I hope to learn and of course world politics! The info gathered in this thread and other threads is so helpful but when I replied to this thread I couldn't resist apparently typing out the words. Yeah I haven't actually read the past pages after I posted that comment, I discovered that shortly after ending the European migrant crisis that there were quite a bit of people like this. I got my answer and I am happy :) 2. I'm actually quite young for an arma player , I got onto Arma shortly after being bored from fast paced games and decided to buy Arma 2 (First from DayZ until I played the campaign) 1 year ago then shortly after arma (for altis life then I realized my big mistake and jumped away very fast) but that's irrelevant I guess. I wouldn't post my age here. (Even though I have it on my profile) cause I would expect a large backlash especially in the off topic threads (I think this section is very interesting to be honest) while the Arma section is pretty laid back and friendly. 3. Hello I never said you were rude, I understand and I never ever expected a answer like "You are right" immediately. You may stand firmly by your position and I have zero problems with that, It's freedom of speech your entitled on your own opinion. Infact I consider you as a good guy cause you can put up good arguments and such and aren't shouting out pure hatred. My only reason why my feelings was hurt is the sudden aggression as I spent much time in this forums and notice so many good people, that I was confident that there actually could be a friendly argument. Like a good argument is like this: "I don't like immigrants" says person one "I don't agree but I respect your opinion but here is my thought (Insert points)" says person two "I respect your opinion but here is why I don't agree with yours (insert points)" says person one That's the argument I expected, but I was wrong. I shouldn't have been naive. They did attack a Shia mosque but the fact that they attacked medina sparked quite a number of hatred against them (I saw this in a lot of posts on on youtube) Ah they may be Muslims together with your other guys thoughts but I stand by my word and I wont accept them as a Muslim, Il always treat those terrorists and people who want Christians killed as terrorists and hypocrites. I don't also know why I'm thinking about immigrating to another country if I haven't finished school. Education apparently is more important than me planning out stuff in 10 years (or worse/good, earlier) i haven't felt threatened but I had to reconsider my thought when you said about stuff like that (which is quite good that I know what to expect) I hope you have a great day!

Hello I actually don't really mind what he said as I know he is angry from this situation but at least showing respect would suffice. And I was just saying my opinion and left the discussion until he suddenly attacked me. I'm not agreeing on his post due to his aggressive tone and how he doesn't realise ISIS is not a true Muslim for bombing Mecca (Who in the right mind calls themself "Muslim/Christian/Jew" then proceeds to bomb Mecca?) and I respect your opinion. I agree about the lack of censorship and I'm not complaining about censored porn sites on my country (I mean why would I even search for it) and I'm not coming to britain only for the green grass, I worded it wrong, I'm coming there so I can be a veterinary and live somewhere that the majority speaks english. Hello I actually will partake as a veterinary in the UK since I speak english very well and stuff. And I usually don't speak in a arabic accent and have a fair british accent for some reason. (I know you aren't replying to me but I thought il just share my intentions) I really don't care if they insult other religions in TV, I may be quite disappointed and switch to another channel but I won't go outside and start protesting and cause mayhem. Freedom of speech is okay with me and I accept the fact that I can't do anything to remove it (Nor do I want to) and all I can do is change the channel and or just stay disappointed for 3 seconds then done I'm going to move on my daily life. I mean if someone sees their country/religion being insulted some might be disappointed and just continue on, some may get really pissed in which I agree they just have to leave. Hello Actually yes it's my dreams since I was a toddler, I always wanted a place that isn't filled with sand and I like the UK not only for green grass but for everything else, I plan to become a veterinary once I finish school and go to britain to help animals since the sunny weather and also the snow is pretty cool for me while in Kuwait you just get burning hot weather. Not really my big dreams just my goals (Apparently I should have worded it better, my apologies) I'm pretty bad at using proper english words and only know how to spell really good since in my british school they crack down on english quite good. My actual dream is being a veterinary, helping animals and living a peaceful life in Britian. And people not being used to immigration I agree but the plain attitude of Vilas (Even since 2015 while reading the European migrant crisis) is pretty disheartening (I know the world isn't full of rainbows but it's quite depressing that people are still like this) My mom is Christian and my dad is Muslim, they don't hate each other at all and never once in my life have I heard anyone in my country insulting Christians. Hello Yes I know but sometimes I go way too over board and end up causing quite a bit of scene when this happens, So I just sometimes remain quiet or furtherly not reply to a convo to avoid having everyone angry and or attracting moderation to the scene which will go very bad for the thread creator. The "Most" part may have been worded incorrectly by me as I mean when i usually view comments on controversial topics like these in news sites about terrorists. I'm not really german nor have I visit Germany, But I'm seriously sorry to anyone who lost their family/loved ones and my best wishes to them. But one thing I seriously don't understand is why most Europeans seriously hate islam (Not referencing to you), even though the goddamn terrorists are not true Muslims (When people say this, The most common response I hear is the overused false verse) I know it is really sad watching other people die on your own country/other country but showing no tolerance of Islam? That's not even the right thing to do, the country I live in, Kuwait never did anything to Christians/Hindus and I never seen hate crime. Terrorism is extremely low despite kuwait not discriminating other religions in which the terrorists hates. They even had the guts to attack the city of Mecca, No one ever realizes that the city is holy and very important. Yet the media still says they are Muslims And Islamic invaders? Goddamn label them as terrorists not Islamic invaders (if your referencing to refugees, then that's really sad. If you were them you of course want to get out of a mess and try to live peaceful again, take an example from the Iraq invasion of kuwait, Thousands of civilians fled to neighboring countries and they welcomed them with open arms) The people who believe that if they kill other people who is different from their religion does not even have the right to call themselves "Muslims/ Christians/Jewish" and they should feel ashame of themselves. I have no ill will towards you @archbishop Lazarus. I'm not german and I have no right to say anything about politics in germany. I wish the best to the people of Germany and I hope everything goes alright for everyone there, The people who died has hopes and dreams and may be one of the most successful people but then someone who has no dignity ruins their life.
