Looking good! Would it be possible to have the gunners mount the guns (and thus stand up) when the situation requires it? Sort of like the mounted 50 on the RHS tanks. That way they could sit down when nothing is really happening. -

Hands down the best jungle map out there and probably a top three user made map for Arma III. Been having so much fun with WWII jungle scenarios with the FOW mod. Other than the weird bricks all over the place the map is pretty much bugfree as well.

Also, the suppressors for the rifles (7.62) are placed too far back back on the barrel on vanilla and other addons, leading to some significant clipping issues.

Not to sound ungrateful, but the left handed accessory slot is one of my pet peeves with your weapons (fortunately only a few have this setup). Like you said it doesn't really work with IR pointers. But more importantly, it's incompatible with a lot of third party accessory addons (RHS, VMA, etc) which use a dual setup (both flashlight and laser) or have the accessory configured to be placed at the top of the rail. -
Honestly, the old Malden always felt like a greek island to me. Some of the buildings might've been a bit odd, but I chalk that up to BI's limited resources back in the day (as has been mentioned earlier I think). The terrain textures and vegetation all screamed mediterranean to me. Coincidentally, these remain exactly the same style wise in Malden 2035. The forests especially are basically high definition recreations of OFP's Malden.

Thanks! Your red dot doesnt seem to work with the vanilla pistols though. Suppressors work just fine.

Could be JBAD (the standalone pack) conflicting? I have similar issues when I run CUP (which is basically always) and JBAD for some custom maps. -

Yeah I get the feeling not many people know this is the feedback thread. To be honest, if it wasn't for Pettka's link I would've never gone to this subforum. -
I would hope people are emotionally mature enough to seperate art from reality. Just ignore it if you find it bothersome. I doubt it would convince anyone of sound mind to have torture connote with US forces (or any armed forces representing a democracy). Ultimately, it's just screenshots of a silly game, not evil minded propaganda.

I've professed my love for less conventional (read non AR derived) weapons, but if you want to go the modern route, I'd like to make a case for the iconic Uzi. Before all the SBR and mp5 madness we had this little blaster and it would make a great addition to the game. As a matter of fact, I dont think anyone made a full sized Uzi since OFP:R (that or a UMP :P)

Seperate seems like the way to go. Most of them arn't specific to a particular weapon anyway. Speaking of attachments however, are you still planning a flashlight module for the R1 1911?

Malden would have a gendarmerie force at best. It's a small island community that wouldnt be able to afford (or need really) anything larger. Just use the Tanoan police units as a paramilitary force. Alternatively, hope someone in the community will make a more fleshed out police faction, like deadmeat did back in the OFP days with his Nogovan police mod.

The football field in La Trinite is in a rather sorry state. Given the fact Malden is a populated island, not decimated by war, I think the local groundskeeper would still be around ;) A nicely cut pitch would probably fit the setting a lot better.
