    Haha, thanks! I believe that's the Woodland M93 from GREF, one of the pro-tec helmets and ALICE bags from CUP, and the body armor's just from the base game. Was going for an early-90's delta feel. I'm a sucker for the Blackhawk Down look, what can I say? :D

    So, I have a RHS-related story to tell! Some friends and I play with RHS kit as part of our server mods on a nearly-daily basis, but it's only recently we've started to delve into the more interesting features of the mod, such as the tank FCS, ground radar, all the neat little tools you've included. Well, the one we've been enjoying the most lately is the PTS-M and its amphibious operations; albeit, we've mostly been 'enjoying' them by seeing what we can load on it before it is overloaded, usually through throwing ourselves headfirst at bodies of water with lord-knows-what loaded in the back. Only last night, Arma's physics and the glorious soviet duck interacted in a way I have never seen before- and it was beautiful. Running empty into the ocean near the AAC airstrip, I got a little overzealous with the throttle, and as I entered the water, the PTS decided to do a little pirouette... and then launch itself into the stratosphere! Before I knew what was happening, I was thrown from the cabin and into a very unintentional free-fall, which afforded me a great view of the island for the minute-or-so I was airbourne. (Here's a snapshot I managed to grab during my brief time as a camo-clad bird, the burning wreck of another 'victim' of our experimenting can be seen at the top) To make a long story short, I ended up splattered on a beach about seven kilometers away, and for about a solid minute, I couldn't catch my breath, my friends and I were laughing so hard! I don't know what caused it, and I hope never to find out- thanks to RHS, I got to see Arma act in a way I never expected, and it is now responsible for one of the best memories I think I'll ever have of the game. :D

    The world isn't ready for something like that! Madman! Though, considering how wonky the physics can be and all, I don't see why some mental case gifted mission-maker couldn't make it so... Oh, and great update, enjoying this to no end, never before has running over people on purpose accidentally been so satisfying, etc.

  11. The ambience! Good lord; for the sake of keeping uncontrollable variables in a mission to a minimal, I've mostly been playing with most of the civ stuff inactive, but on a whim, I reactivated most of it to try out SOAP* and oh man! Like folks have said already, a little change like that in the soundscape really brings out so much. Been a few times I've ducked into a building and assumed I was breaking up some poor family's dinner when I decide to use their kitchen table as a rifle rest! I cannot wait to see what you do to build on this idea; I'm already in love. On a whim, I MAY have also dropped some... less-than-fitting music into my music folder. I don't know if it adds to immersion, or detracts from it when I hear this playing in a nearby house, but my lord, is it entertaining. (*The name of which, by the way, brings up a philosophical quandary; if I disabled it, would I be dropping the SOAP?)

  13. Heya, tpw- first of all, awesome mod- loved it ever since a friend introduced it to me as a way to spice up my Pilgrimage playthroughs, and I've had it on-and-off in my install ever since. Unfortunately, having recently downloaded it from both your Dropbox and Armaholic, I'm encountering the same error as mentioned by cameronmcdonald, only my .hpp is displaying something completely different from what has been described. The lines in question look like this tpw_hud_extragoggles[] = "%1<t size='0.5'><br />VEL KTS</t>"; tpw_hud_extraheadgear[] = "<t color='%5'>%1</t> <t color='%6'>%2</t> <t color='%7'>%3</t> <t color='%8'>%4</t><t size='0.5'><br />PRX</t>"; but it's the same error, and same crashes when I go to start the game up with @TPW_MODS enabled. Ran the installer correctly, everything's in the right place, but something's hiccuping along the line. I can link my full .hpp if need be, but since those seem to be acting like the problem children, here, I figured that's all you needed. Isla Abramia has found a spot in my heart usually reserved for good framing or massive explosions- here are a few shots from my exploring the wonderful terrain: I'd love to say I didn't embed a multi-million dollar 5th gen fighter into a cliffside after that last one.   15. Just wanted to say- Thank you for this terrain! Already, I have tons of ideas for missions here, but so far I've been content to just fly around, treating it like my own, personal mach loop. And I'm sure the low-altitude, supersonic passes early in the morning are winning hearts and minds with the locals. :D

    To be fair- I took that at 0.01 timescale- think that's messing with the effects. A regular 7.62 round at normal speed causes a much less significant splatter An ATGM into a group of about 8 people is a bit more beefy, but not generating the same kind of lakes of blood I got with a low timescale So- uh- think that was more of a mistake on my end than the intended effect of the mod, sorry!

    Preliminary- ahem- testing is going well. Very well. Though putting a high explosive round into a tightly-grouped pack of enemies tanks my frames- not really a surprise, haha.

    I can't even begin to express what wonders this mod has done for spicing up my firefights- though it has made me more prone to laughing giddily as the guy next to me explodes into a shower of gibs. My own questionable reaction to stuff blowing up aside, this is an excellent mod, and it's really filled a hole in my install I didn't know I had- thank you!

  21. Having just discovered the joys of the Eden editor and the Splendid (aptly named!) Camera, I've spent my last few days back to the Arma series after a long absence playing with them pretty much nonstop. Thought I'd share the amateurish fruits of my labor! Spetsnaz-y guys doing spetsnaz-y things. Wish I'd done more to tweak the lighting on this one, turned out a bit dark. An Abrams crew under attack by Cannon's terribly poor choice of bloom settings. Sadly, there would be no survivors. Grand Theft Arma? Just Arma 3? I dunno. But definitely my favorite of the bunch. A friend wanted a picture of a UAZ hitting another in midair- I told him I could do one better. And they say the CDF doesn't know how to clear an airspace!
