You can just place them in the editor. Trains will automatically detect and follow the tracks as they move.

Here's a video of the player getting in the static trains on the map (these weren't placed via editor). Player must press delete to exit the train.

Not right now, but this would be interesting! Travel too fast and the cars go flying off the track... heh I also didn't mention that the train will automatically be able follow any tracks you place on the map.

No, it's just going to use vanilla stuff. You will just be able to drop it on your server, and then anyone can drive around any trains on the track without having the addon. Driving will be done in 3rd person. Ideally will support hooking up cars together and track switching by pressing left/right when you approach an intersection. Other players will be able to hop on the train as well.

And maybe some smoke for effect. However, the first challenge is the path finding and track switching at intersections. The straightaways are easy - those corners are tricky!

How can I reproduce this? Just fire up Arma with those mods, drop some enemy AI in the editor and then try to move them around using Zeus?

I'd be surprised if this mod caused something like that. First step is to try to reproduce it as HerosandvillainsOS recommended.

Seems like many of the commands provided by WWAI would fit nicely in my Advanced AI Command addon (so you can use them for groups other than your own). For instance, telling a group to garrison a house via the map would be nice. Windwalking, you still around? Any concerns with me trying to merge a few of your commands into Advanced AI Command? -
Gave an AI heli the order to land via AIC... they decided to land (successfully!) on top of the power lines! That's a first.

Oh, I've also updated the camera in the 1.5.1 release so that it don't follow the unit's direction. Found it too annoying :)

v1.5.1 Released. Get it on github or steam Changes: Updated remote view camera logic to smooth out the camera movement. Extended max remote view camera distance to 60m. Added support for using the map while in remote view.

v1.5 Released. Get it on github or steam Changes: Added a "remote view" camera which gives you a 3rd person view (zoom in/out with scroll wheel) of a group's leader. You cannot control the leader - view only. Press delete to exit remove view. Updated event handling system to avoid other mods deactivating UI event handlers
