I am also having this issue, it is becoming quite annoying now. -
Hey there @anfo. In my eyes, everything looks fine. The only issue I seem to find is the fact that the function code you have outlined is being placed in the "Init.sqf" file, this means it will be initialized at the very start of the mission, if that's what you want then keep it there and everything "Should" be fine. Alternately if you wanted to place the code in to a "OnPlayerKilled.sqf" file that could also work. Hope this helped! Rob

official missions Do scripts work at all for the OFFICIAL campaign/missions ("The East Wind", Showcase missions) ???
Robert_FMIS replied to The Spirit of Morpheus's topic in ARMA 3 - MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
@The Spirit of Morpheus I am afraid you are quite mistaken. If you go ahead and unpack the "missions_f_epa.pbo" file you will find your sqm, let me elaborate. 1. Go to "Drive:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3/Addons" 2. Use a .pbo unpacker such as "PBO Manager" to unpack the "missions_f_epa.pbo" file. 3. Select the missions located in the Campaign folder and place them in the following directory: "Drive:\Users\Name\Documents\Arma 3\missions" 4. If you take a look in any of the folders you just copied you shall see your SQM file, this is also where you can place your script that you tell us all so much about. Of course, I assume you know where to go from there. If you need any further help please don't hesitate to ask. Happy scripting! *EDIT*: Here is a link to PBO manager: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=16369 *EDIT/2*: Keep in mind for future reference, official content relating to mission creation and initialization is made with the same tools you and I use to make our missions. In short, their missions are 100% something you could make if you had the time and money. -

Flying Monkeys In Space has three current areas of operation, North America, Canada and Australia all of which have at least around 20 active members on most nights. FMIS also merges with other clans and takes part in massive 30 - 40 player operations as well. It's a shame because RHS have mastered the vehicle in vehicle stuff, their C130 you can just drive a Humvee up in there and close the ramp done!. Works brilliantly.
-
Have you played the campaign? If so you would know that the Device is a and I quote "Tectonic Weapon" in other words it makes earthquakes.

Take a look at the post above yours.

I am sorry to say that the mission has been cancelled. Reason being is that certain legal matters have come up (unrelated to the game) that I need to attend to, in saying this most of my time will be that of involved in such legal matters. Thank you all for sticking by the idea and once again, I apologize.
-
EVERYTHING HAS BEEN RELEASED! HOLY SHIT
-
I have been in the thread since the beginning, I should know.
-
Cough Cough Apex thread not feature request thread.
-
One of the main reasons I wouldn't do that is because it would require heavy scripting, I already have enough scripts in the mission (some of my own creations, some others) and I don't want to bog it down. Sounds like a cool idea though however I don't think I will be incorporating it.

Ah gotchya
-
When the hell did I get so popular? I might just do that as well haha

I might just do that as well, depends on my own circumstances at the time
