    again, move to the Debian 8.x 64bit release. It is the base upon which SteamOS sits. If you must have kernel 4.2.x, use something like xubuntu for minimal performance degradation. Also, if you are using the latest kernel released with 15.10, you should have access to the latest AMDGPU driver stack for 4.2.x.

    About frags from HE rounds - they are present, but to be honest its useless (dont get me wrong - read the rest of my post).
    - First it is killing FPS very much - so much objects are created so i have 1-3 FPS for a 2-3 seconds with every explosion.
    - Number of frags is too small - 125mm HE-FRAG round explosion should have devastating effects, so number of frags should be counted in tousands.
    - While shooting the main cannon with HE-FRAG round, i hear like the frags are touchin armor of mine tank, even if explosion is far away - just like pressure from the barrel is including the frags.
    Thats why i deleted ace_frag.pbo.

    Yes I've kinda followed it. But got kinda lazy and was worrying about jsrs. Because slowly they start to implement all the features I had in the latest builds, but not as good or intense as I had it. Which means all my feature are not needed anymore but bis's results aren't the quality I would like them to be hehe. But it's great that they go this way finally.

    I think BI listened the players about JSRS and they are trying to put something like "their version of JSRS" into the game, but it will be included, bugged, and again not fixed by next year. Im really happy you are making LITE versions - it have less problems with new updates from Bohemia. My advice, release most simpy LITE and wait with the scripts, this update....it will simply waste your job. Bohemia should release main changes to the sound engine way before the update, so the modders community could prepare mods for it. If it will look like on @haleks post, it will include something like "distant sounds"? I dont know if i  understand this well.

    Hm, seems kinda dead to me, can someone confirm? No update for ages, no informations, their twitter channel hasn't been touched for months and now their page (http://patriot-games.ru/) seems to be gone. Is there a sign of life somewhere? Would be a shame.....

    I very liked this mod.... Its very sad if its dead. Smaller ammount of fanst doesnt mean its worse, it just have less vehicles, and few more bugs on weapons, but overall its great mod! Russian Radio messages works best from all other mods including russians, all weapons have animations of zeroing, man, it simply most realistic mod i ever seen.

    I wasn't running any of those mods.  Maybe someone on the server I played on was.  The rpt will say which ones I'm running.

    Actually, I just switched to CUP. It's not nearly as good, but I can hear people shoot.

     

    Could it have anything to do with the fact that Windows and some apps are on a solid state and the game is installed on a separate mirrored RAID?

    Again, there are only 2 mods that do this, and they're both ones I really like.  It's very sad panda.

    I think they should add nato weapons, because the nato forces probably wont get rid of their M16s or M4s. Because they are cheap to make. Also another weapon they should add is a Anti Tank rifle. (Anzio 20mm) and more weapons overall, assault rifles, pistols, sniper rifles, launchers, etc.

    You know about modding community right? Who needs to pay more for some DLC with 4 rifles? If you are interested in m16/m4 i strongly recomend you RHS : Escaltion mod. ... May this be strange but i dont touch Vanilla since... year? I run it only to confirm bug adress.

    Thats sad, most of programs/games was written for Windows without thinking of Linux :( I'm fresh here, but when I was reinstalling Windows and it was not capable to format HDD on install process, and i first time pushed linux DVD into my disc drive, AND I SAW SYSTEM WAS WORKING EVEN WITHOUT INSTALATION, i was damm impressed, impression was rising when it formated my HDD which Windows wasnt able to, wheen i add Windows Security which is working on my nerws...... I hope Linux version will be fully functionally and optimalised, beacuse i see bigger future for it. AND LINUX IS FREE..... Of course its little hard (for me) to fully understand Linux, but people are learning whole life. I'm still not selected Linux for myself, its lot of versions....... Every is talking diferent about it, but Linux is something that my PC will meet soon anyway. Honestly i just waiting till Windows 7 will not be supported fully.

    LordJarhead, RHS team, ACE 3 team, Bcombat team, Laxemann..... Do you realize that Arma 3 without you, would be just plastic lego star wars?  You are taking this game to big step forward, off course, BIS have taken somehow good plan to fix basics (i hope they will do so) and game will finally shine, and be polished with Your fantastic job.

    I'm afraid this is a completely different topic. Regarding the issue with the bandwidth, I ran some tests and I failed to reproduce it. A FT ticket might help in this regard.

    Its not big problem for me as i dont play much multipayer now. I disabled all steam overlays, all gadgets, Antivirus, Friends etc, sometimes it use 100kb/s sometimes 300.... in memmory its 100 MB. I know it isnt much, but starting platform just to play the game (dont use this platform at all is sensless, isn't it?) . More i wanted tu publish mission through steam yesterday, i wanted to do so, via official guide from devarma site, but when i click "Steam" icon, it says it cannnot download some steam file, and try again, it happen endless. I dont know what sense does this Steam distribution have - player cannot play not updated game (cant revert to older versions, to prevent some bugs from new update - player can revert to only one previous version), cannot play offline for longer than month..... Please, consider Arma 4 for Steam, and without it. Without steam player have bigger maneuver field.

    Vassily B are you launching arma3 with -nologs parameter on? AiA doesn´t disable loading saved games, you´re having the classic NLSG (no load saveg games) error caused by dependacy error, you must have some mod which is broken or have another mod as dependacy (which isn´t running along), so arma can´t download even a recently saved game... disable nologs parameter and see which error pops up when launching arma, that´s the problem that is causing this saved game issue... and if you´re experiencing it only with AiA tp enabled, then you´re probably using a corrupt download or using a2 maps without the proper fix files (or the contrary, you´re using - let´s say thrisk aiatp fix, without having thrisk installed and so on...)
