So far i tested Russian Side and i'm almost lost my jaw. - Tunel Vision on sights - Gorka - Recon Units (fully equipped!!!!!!) - Static guns - Fixed PhysX for BMP and T-72 - lot more i forgot..... USAF is finishing downloading, i'm making reconasance now ;D Thanks for best fun i ever had!- 15861 replies

Well Hit effects presented by bakerman is great, but i wonder (i need to ask ACE team beacuse bohemia ignored it totally) about fading effect on thermal vission while using tank cannon or big explosion. Fading should be almso immideantyl after explosion, beacuse fire have very big thermal signature, and thermals are faded (darkened) when it appears on bigger part of the screen. So tank cannon fire can be packed into this "bag" beacuse fire ball outside the tank cannon takes 3000 degree celcius.- 15861 replies

I figured out good FOV for me using this : https://forums.bistudio.com/topic/147866-utility-arma-fov-changer/ fovTop=0.63; fovLeft=1.11; But i cannot agree its cheat. AI is cheating too. Player must have some chance to defend. Otherwise all mods would disable that function. -

So if i understand well, smaller = better? I want to see distance Ai more clearly. @DAP - believe me i have bigger chances with zoom than without it. -

What crashes actually you have in mind? Yeah CUP team is focused on Units Weapons and Vehicles (it looks like)m so releasing new update will take time. -

Like i sayed before, if target is in center of sight its smaller, objects on the edges of screen are bigger - so no, size of target is changing. After all you did a great job with this mod, but player cant zoom to lok on details.... Zoom should be switchable - server adming could use script parameter to force it on, while on single player user can decide on his own. -

I have properly configured FOV (16:9) AI is problem of Arma, Arma enables Zoom = simply recover of loose. Did you hited 1500m target with iron sight? Beacuse i didnt. More - in real you can focus your eyes in sight, just like zooming the view. And zooming helping me to find AI hidden (sinked in those grass). This is why this option have been applied. Shitty FoV need great zooming. -

Well, tanks was sneaking for me lot of times, mainly beacuse quiet engines - in real life you can hear their tracks, engine for much longer distance. Same with UAZ - its a loud car. IN all tanks crews are talking via speakers/microphones mounted on the helmet.- 15861 replies

Lowering engine volume - are you nuts? How it will sound in singleplayer? Did you thinked about single players? Realism is first thing, if vehicles will be so quiet, it will be barelly hearable from distance - tank will sneak to me like a cat! People, think before posting such "things". Real vehicles are loud = RHS are too. In real UAZ/HMV you need to scream too to say something sometimes. If you wanna more quiet engines just lover the sound effects bar.- 15861 replies

Well AI can sink in terrain, we cant. Ai can see through grazz why they are sinked - we cant. AI can detect properly direction of shooter from great distance in 2 seconds - we cant. Disabling zoom option wasnt good choice here. BTW we have lost opportunity to look at briliant models you got here - weapons, vehicles - we cant zoom to look at more details. Arma need zooming beacuse its FoV is shitty. Just sit in the A3 blackhawk (or whatever name it is) with infantry inside, and look around - center of view "sees" everything smaller, while sides of view sees everything bigger. Thats why the zoom is needed. In real life i see everything in same size -

Guys, propably you dont have option in launcher "-filepatching" checked. Make sure its ON, by going to parameters, advanced, advanced, "Turn file actualization" or something like this/ i use diferent language. And off ourse do not use Bcombat from steam workshop. BTW, its only AI mod i use, and cant imagine gameplay without it. -

OK, this is with vanilla weapons. As you are part of RHS you may know answer for my maybe odd question. I hear weapons louder in first person, louder than in third p. view. This comes to modded content weapons as i assume, but i use only RHS content. My firend who is using VTN mod, saw the same thing. Is this bug or intended behavior? It happen even without any sound-mod. -

I'm connecting under previous post (wiki update) - what does ace_rearm doing? There are two .pbo's ace_norearm (which deletes acrion "rearm" near ammo storage, but ace_rearm? -

I dont play multi often, but if i play i have 25-60 FPS but with 20 - 30 players max - never played with more people. Well, reinstalling windows helped on my end a lot, i dont know what actually worked here - maybe i skipped some windows update after system reinstall (installed 100 updates, reset, checking effects, so the game FPS isnt too low, then another 100 updates and again check) i installed all necessary updates, not single optional , deleted updates to win 10 (this small icon next to the clock), did not installed Flashplayer, all microsoft visual C++ are the only i installed with arma 3, i instantly uninstalling libraries installed with other games. Only gaming platform installed on my PC is Steam and Rockstar Games Social Club (cannot use it other than updating GTA V). hmmm, what more..... updated drivers (newest AMD gived me 30% boost) and thats all. Why not to overclock? Tests made on GTA V answered this - overclocking helping with games, that optimialisation is fully finished. Now take in account, Arma 3 optimalisation engine is done 4 or more years back, people wasnt overclocking CPU back then so often. Maybe someone overclocking CPU will help, but on latest games i dont see this is helping. Off course there are occasional CPU's that this method is working, but if some guy have 3.Ghz and game is runing at 20 FPS and he overclock to 3.5 GHZ and ge will still have 20 FPS (maybe even 19) its not fault of his hardware, but game optimalisation. Game engine is just not fully supporting parts of his PC and overclocking will not change anything. Keep that in mind, my PC is not super powered machine and also not the slowest one. Like it or not, my PC is getting old, and games (other than arma) was, and still are runing on max settings. Arma 3 begin to run smooth after last 3 or 4 update

From the steam workshop........ Ach, man. This is biggest mistake IMO. I never download from steam workshop beacuse, id dwonload only basis structure of the mod (folders Keys, Addons, mod info - newer any more files). I figured out it on Bcombat, where i had modded .fsm files - issue was directly the same. Now i update mods manually via armahollic. -

Hmmm..... Did you get the error with RHS units on the down screen "XeH cannot be applied on all units try to use cba_disable _autoXeh" or something like that? I got this every time i launchine some mission with RHS units. About advanced ballistics if it will not work just delete advanced balllistics.pbo and done. I'll try when i finally get home - for about 20 minuts. -

Propably -filepatching ? I havent that error. As for the update - thanks for saving this game from uninstalling :D
