Holy moly.... i'm installing Kubuntu then.....

In Air Raid mission i saw 2 bugs so far; First is on mission start - two A-164 ( the vanilla A-10 remake) is crashing at start (at the end of the "starting lane". Second is terrible low FPS (1 or 2 FPS) when getting into fight with Russian wings near some city (first enemy contact in mission). I wasnt able to play further -_-

Cannot load game when i'll be killed - it load the respawn screen and no playable units. :/

Mission is not working with latest Leights OPFOR pack.

OK as i play WITHOUT any SOUND mod, i need to add my 2 cents ; No issueas at all, i update all mods manually, dont use PWS (Play With Six), Steam Workshop or any other updaters. Allways use the newest .bikey files. I have muzzle flash, all sound are played properly (correct). My advice (not really mine, i readed it on facebook RHS and tryed it) Is to reinstall system, game and re-download mods. It gives me stable 25 fps. I know it may sound strange, but every time we install some game, it installs some redist.,,,, which means third party software, additional drivers etc. Steam is installing other software and sometimes do it quiet (it installed physX on my AMD GPU!). If you dont want to reinstall system, delete all unnesesery windows updates, all trash from reinstall list, update your drivers, clean up your hdd (specialy windows udpates - it gain 10GB for me) - now i finally can play with normal framerate and i just dont believe what i see. I works on the same battles when before reinstall i had 10 FPS. If you will not reinstall system try at least reinstall arma. I dont know what actually helped me so much but maybe (JUST MAYBE) its fault of switching to dev branch, RC, then stable. Game engine was half-optimalised in 1.52 so i decided to reinstall all i can after this pdate and it helped. Sorry as i gived additional guide for FPS here, but it will be great if this would help someone. For me it works like a charm.

Not sure..... I was using JSRS and RHS for year with no errors, and it was runing fine. Sure, some sounds was little quieter, some louder but it wasnt changine gameplay immersion at all.

I have reinstalled system and game gives me pure 15 fps more - i dont know how. I havent installed yet VC++, all directX updates, Realtec HD audio manager, and on C drive i have 10GB more (windows updates backups are not so present yet). Maybe this is the reason? For now game is runing 25+ fps no matter what i am doing is it big battle or walk in the park (40-50 fps)

Yeah i know. I have Kubuntu image ready to install, just waiting till 2016 when MAYBE arma will be updated, and they apply new features they are working on now. Thats all reasons why i keeping Windows now it wasnt worth 100$ i think..... I buyed W7 (year ago) just to know they will stop support it and they forcing me (by the agressive way) to buy W10. No way, i will never use their "service" beacuse W10 is service, what i will have to paying for after year of using with no way back to W7 (i have only month to get back). Kubuntu is best from linux for game as i heard, is it true? SteamOS is better or what? I heared its in beta....

You can work with no hurry and i hope you are, remember, for me and i think for other users YOU MADE ARMA 3 (or just make it playable), we are endlesly thankfull for what you have done, this text about arma 4 can be interpretated in some way you are releasing 4.0 version of the mod, you simply releasing Arma 4 (in agree with line above :) ). Keep up the good work, i really hope one day you will be able to make standalone platform like DayZ (i'we never played it) and modify game engine to your need, or simply select other engine. I really keep finger crossed!

Since OFP, but created sixth account here in this date...... BTW who are you trying to lie? Why there isnt aphibious tracked vehicles yet? Or even PhysX config for this, even after 2 years after ticket was made on feedback tracker. Facts talk for themsleves.

Well, i need to say the same. Arma 3 is very bad optimalised, its engine isnt finished yet, music is cutting while saving game etc. MODS s cripts are not launchine after "cold Load" - its typical in A3. Till they dont get it working (bohemia off course) it will not be better, and what i observed, they really dont care about the modders - look how they treat us with tracked vehicles swimming ability - "with TANOA expansion it will came" so we need to wait till may or later in 2016? They dont care about mods and this is their biggest mistake, beacuse mods create their game. Dod you ever played Battlefield 2 with famous mod "Project Reality"? SQUAD is their child. Small ammount of money forced them to create game on engine smilar to Battlefield 2. And yes - it run like butter.

Only weapon missing in Russian armory is AK74U for pilots and tank crews.... I can write whole list what is missing, but many people done that before and i dont want to repeat same lines 60 times. Arma 3 is working great for me since 1.52 update, with RHS i'm making missions what i allways wanted.

For now - yes. Vehicles are on the way, when they will finish the main assets. But when i saw workmap for 2016 i propably will play SQUAd as A3 seems to be unplayable to +- september or october next year. 2 YEARS AFTER RELEASE WE STILL GOT BUGGY AND UGLY ENGINE SUCH AS FLYING TANKS AND MOST UGLY AND UNCORRECT MOVING CLOUDS - JEZUS! HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE, how lazy someone must be to do so? Its just an update for something that they already inwested - SIMPLY DOWNLOAD UPDATE FOR PHYSX SDK and TrueSky! Is this so hard? All games having such features are fixed since months!

As today i saw BIS workmap i need to say it would not be easy to continue work on mods for you. Till end this year they want to rework platform for units "for the future" so i think half of mods will stop working, EDEn editor, then APEX........ Jeez why they didnt update PhysX and True Sky engines as they paying for it?! We have flying tanks and ugly clouds since years..... Dear God, move them to the right path, best the same that RHS are on. Amen. :D OK end of complaining, i must write to the masters of arma - you have done great flashlights, Im really impressed, really! So small thing and gives so much happyness. Thanks!

There is one serious competition - "SQUAD" but so far only for multiplayer.

I believe it will happen as SteamOS will be Linux in "valve eyes". I cant wait till the ports will be updated, and finished, then i will finally uninstall Windows 7 and install Kubuntu.......Amen.

O had overclocked CPU by default when i installed AI suite 3 (for fan control) and now when i fresh reinstalled whole PC only with drivers and updates (no OC programs) game runs smooth as butter.

I reinstalled whole system and FORGOT to install sound driver - no i see the point. Arma runs smoother and battle sounds like battle. Lord Jarhead, Laxemann - what Sound card are you guys using? I have integrated Realtec HD audio card, but problem is, i was wasting my time with realtec HD audio manager. It was ruining joy from sounds - i wasnt able to hear any change of number Hz, bits - just nothing, all sound was like the same. Now i can clearly hear the sound changes when i'm changing its quality. This prooves Realtec's software is corruptet ot it override the setting people use. I havent any audio driver and i'm happy as i never was. :D
